rulelayer 1 I don't like the new one, i think that the name is the only thing that he has in common with the character. I wonder why the hell did they cast Will Smith as Deadshot, he is just miscast. For instance James Franco could get both the look and the personality of the character.
Will Smith plays one hell of a Anti-hero in Suicide Squad. This incarnation of Deashot is more of a caring father while being a assassin who seeks purpose.
You forgot to mention when Deadshot was a kid Floyd had an abusive father 1 day his mother told Floyd's brother to kill thier father his brother took Floyd outside Floyd climb a ladder to the tree with a rifle when Floyd was aiming at his father the branch broke and Floyd accidentally saved his father and killed his brother which that made him a sharp shooter

All because Deadshot really doesn't want kill the Bat! Imagine that!
I love the Arrow series Deadshot. I don't like the Arkham City one. I can appreciate the Origins one. But the Arrow one, and the New 52 one are my favorites.
Damn Straight. It feels like you get the best of every character in Origins. Joker, Bane, Deathshot, Death Stroke, Killer croc, Mad hatter etc. Best game so far when it comes to character development.

What an awesome origin story. I saw this villain in arkham city, boy was he badass. Chris Cox is probably the best voice for Deadshot. The ending of this video was awesome as well. Amazing as always! :-)
And don't forget, the new "Suicide Squad" has selected Will Smith to portrayed the role as the tough villain who will do anything to do deadly missions.
Jake Bryant if you ask me, they should have had Fantastic 4 rebooted for the Marvel cinematic universe, that way, things would be more canon with the comic books, Human Torch and Crystal would be dating and she'd fill in for Invisible Woman while she's pregnant, it's a win-win

live action debut was in smallville, deadshot and the suicide squat appeared in a few episodes.. in one of the later seasons can't remember wich right now
Seriously I hate that scene from arrow its what made me stop watching the show, because deadshot is firing an automatic weapon and green arrow is using the most analogue of ranged weapons there is no fucking way he could kill deadshot or get a shot out before he has more holes in him than swiss cheese. Also don't like it because Green Arrow kills but only kills henchmen he leaves bosses alive what bullshit the Green Arrow from the comics would call bullshit on this guy at every step. I guess its another thing I just hate the "realism" that DC is putting into its video media they haven't made a good TV show since Justice League Unlimited not including smallville because that show is like twilight genetically fused with superman Its slow and not too pretty to look at. Just read superman year one if you want to know superman's origins, its much better than smallville and that lame ass remake that come out last summer, and it has received several awards and is a certified new york times best seller. If superhero movies were made in mass like they are now much earlier like maybe early seventies than I think the cinema and television might be on par with the comics but as of right now the comics are far superior at least the older ones. The quality in the comics has slipped in recent years excluding stories like blackest night but after 2012 I think both marvel and dc really let quality slip. Marvel made Nick fury in the main universe black trying to relate to movie goers who don't know of the white nick fury which I prefer even though Sam Jackson is a great actor I think the source material should be more respected plus the Old Nick Fury has had a lot more development and depth to his becoming a very meaningful character over the years so it pisses me off that they just change his character and put the original in permanent retirement. Also any fanboys going to talk about the ultimate universe, yeah I fucking know about it so shut the fuck up I don't need a history lesson from you.
im gonna guess you're someone who knows there shit when it comes to this type of thing. If someone who has only had a marginal interest in comics uptill now wants to get more into them, and is a fan of marvel, what do you think would be a good series to start with?
+Max Rebo he did play the character well. he was actually one of the best parts of the movie. if you didn't like the movie I understand because the movie does have problems but Will Smith was definitely not one of them.
I agree with you on the Deadshot part. Arrow did made them weaker than the comic book counter-parts. But in my opinion Arrow did the best live-action adaption of Deathstroke, despite changing parts of Deathstroke's past we all loved
Dude gtfo with this annoying bullshit. No one gives a fuck what color a made up character is or who portrays them in film except for useless human beings who care about shit like that. Let that shit die in 2010 or whenever the fuck dumb ppl brought this up
+TheCryptCrusader I agree, but you also gotta be annoyed when it goes the other way as well. When non white characters are made to be white, it's stupid too.
nick furry was always white and black in the comics and their making rqve changes because they want too.. just saying wally west is black in 52 and now hes black in the cw show , and people were outraged . There aren't many black superheros and I'm black and I am kinda happy they made wally west black but I also don't think will smith can portray this character/ a good role .
"You'd know that if you read the comics." This is why we can't have nice things. I saw him in Justice League and I liked that version. Its called reinterpretation. A new spin on an old character. I have begun reading comics and I haven't found a Deadshot issue yet. Its a good interpretation for new fans.
He's actually not half bad in Arrow. Its what people are calling a "Nolanized" Green Arrow. Yet its had some clever versions of various super villains such as the Royal Flush Gang, The Firefly, Count Vertigo, Death Stroke, and Merlyn the Black Archer.
The fact that you've heard of hush means you probably already know some about him. But basically he's Bruces oldest friend. As a child Tomas Elliot was abused by his father and would seek escape in the works of Aristotle. He decided to kill his parents when he was eight for their money, and freedom. However he only killed his dad and his mom became extremely clingy. She got cancer and became dependant. When she decided to destroy his dreams of medical school, he smothered her and sought revenge.
Deadshot always hits his mark. Doesn't mean 1 bullet has to do the job, but it's more along the lines of every villain. "I'll get my revenge if it's the last thing I do!"
As a child Deadshot had an extremely abusive father who worked for the mob
One day when his father was beating his mother he grabbed a gun and accidently shot his brother when he was aiming at his father. On that day...he promised to never miss.

Who you calling scruffy!
live action debut was in smallville,
deadshot and the suicide squat appeared in a few episodes.. in one of the later seasons can't remember wich right now
Seriously I hate that scene from arrow its what made me stop watching the show, because deadshot is firing an automatic weapon and green arrow is using the most analogue of ranged weapons there is no fucking way he could kill deadshot or get a shot out before he has more holes in him than swiss cheese.
The green arrow green lantern cross series was pretty good, honestly just start off wherever you want its what I did.
What's the song used here?
+1
Next a asian harley quinn. Or a midget joker.... Lol now everyone is gonna remember lawton as will smith
Is that a bad thing? I think he played the character well.
asian harley quinn sounds interesting tho
+Max Rebo he did play the character well. he was actually one of the best parts of the movie. if you didn't like the movie I understand because the movie does have problems but Will Smith was definitely not one of them.
He played will smith well not deadshot gets your facts straight.
+jimbo No Im pretty sure the end credits said he played Deadshot..
I agree with you on the Deadshot part. Arrow did made them weaker than the comic book counter-parts. But in my opinion Arrow did the best live-action adaption of Deathstroke, despite changing parts of Deathstroke's past we all loved
So deadshot us white but is being portrayed as a black man in suicide squad?
Dude gtfo with this annoying bullshit. No one gives a fuck what color a made up character is or who portrays them in film except for useless human beings who care about shit like that. Let that shit die in 2010 or whenever the fuck dumb ppl brought this up
+Jon Kimberson his race doesnt really matter
+Joshcoshbagosh yeah cause he's just one character.he doesn't have a sibling who's white in the comics like fantastic four hahaha
Nick Fury is white in the comics but is black in the movies
+Fred Radilla that's cause they're using the ultimate universe Nick Fury which is black
The deadshot in arrow is pretty fuego🔥🔥🔥
And now he's black. Hey i'm not racist but i'm sick of these fucking unnecessary race changes. Nick Fury, Johnny Storm and now Deadshot.
Sam Jackson is a badsass
Fantastic 4 was horrible all around.
And Will Smith the fresh prince
nick fury is better black
+TheCryptCrusader I agree, but you also gotta be annoyed when it goes the other way as well. When non white characters are made to be white, it's stupid too.
nick furry was always white and black in the comics and their making rqve changes because they want too.. just saying wally west is black in 52 and now hes black in the cw show , and people were outraged . There aren't many black superheros and I'm black and I am kinda happy they made wally west black but I also don't think will smith can portray this character/ a good role .
+TheCryptCrusader I mean Samuel Jackson is just good but I don't know about the other 2 changes
Just imagine that floyd Lawton was a superhero he could've done a lot of good with Theo Skills of his
2:53 this talk of suicide squad seems so familiar... hmmm, I wonder what it could be :PP
I rlly like the Deadshot mini series origin from ages ago.
i cant stop watching this chanels videos ._.
The Fresh Prince - or Will Smith - did good portraying Deadshot.
Deadshot: I never miss.
He did not set off metal detectors, with duel pistols on his hip. Neat trick...
0:26 Batman's aircrafts have come a long fuckin way. "Holy Jeepers Batman"
deadshot is my favorite villian
You should do one for Penguin,Deathstroke, Barry Allen as Flash, Captain Cold, Tim Drake as Robin, or Batgirl
His live action debut was in Smallville
Deadshot appeared on Smallville several times before he appeared on Arrow. Arrow was not his live action debut.
so happy you did tthis i didnt undestand who he was in the tv show arrow
Does anyone know what the background theme in this video is? Like what is the name of the track?

I didn't notice that the one that sais ''bang'' at the beginning of Arkham City was Deadshot. Now everything makes more sense
Its not that he has been redone, its just there are in fact around 5 different clayfaces. They teamed up at one point too.
I like how on the Arrow show they had him with his wrist gun.
"The world's greatest detective dies at the hands of the world's greatest assassin!"
I love Deadshot he's cool
he wasn't missing, he was trying to force arrow into cover
Deadshot my favorite comic character!
+Noah Crawley same
DeadShot has always been my favourite DC super villain followed by Deathstroke.
Deadshot wasn't killed off. He'll be back in a few episodes.
Deadshot always hits his mark. Doesn't mean 1 bullet has to do the job, but it's more along the lines of every villain. "I'll get my revenge if it's the last thing I do!"
his first live action debut was on an episode on smallville
When i found out Will Smith play Deadshot i bought my ticket in a heart beat
