Im used to playing wmmt with just one hand because i was super cautious of maybe random people or my friends messing with the shifter but this is something else
Honestly playing this game with only 1 hand on the wheel is not difficult at all. Just hold the 12 o'clock position instead of 3 or 9 o'clock if you want balanced steering.
Man this is literally me. First time I played wmmt3dx was a nightmare. I remember having to deal with kids trying to jerk the shifter. Since that day onwards, I only play with one hand steering. Using both hands to steer is just uncomfortable after years of playing like that (felt like both my hands are out of sync whenever I steer).
Unusually clean shifting for a WMMT player even. Usually your stereotypical WMMT player would just bang the gearstick over like they're going to rip it off, eventually breaking it
@@topheavyteggy8232 *If sarcasm, please discard. If not, please keep reading* Arcade machines don't reflect load and the resistance of the gear lever as if shifting for real. Plus, most cars won't have such short throws and such close gates.

Steering wheels are always broken in Singapore for what I’ve heard 🤣, I’m from new zealand and mainly shifts are broken (4th to 5th gears jump to neutral)
At the beginning I was thinking it only had 180° when he was changing stuff on the menu and I thought to myself.... what the hell is even the point at this low of a steering rotation 🤣 go to 900 or 1080° and do it again. Direct drive base wouldn't be long breaking your wrist for sure 😅
@@tylervardy3917 I drift with 50%, sometimes even 35%, wheel sensitivity on Assetto. Drifting with 1080 degree rotation is unnecessarily restrictive if you're driving something serious, the speed of transitions is massively reduced by the time it takes the wheel to rotate so much.
@@thesprawl2361 with a proper wheel in a proper title it makes perfect sense for sure! This is just getting the comments its getting because the tape doesn't prevent you from going to full lock since it doesn't even have 900° like most street cars. **Off topic** but for other actual Sims and stuff lowering the steering lock is great for stuff like gt3/open wheel racing but for drifting, 900° makes everything way smoother and gives you more control whereas if you run 540-720 it can start to look like you're using a controller or keyboard because of how fast your tyres are turning from lock to lock and make your slides look kinda twitchy in the long run. I started at 900 and find any lower is super hard to keep smooth but whatever works best for whatever person is what they should be running for sure! You'd have freedom over how much lock you wanna run if you were to drift in real life so who's to say you can't run 270° and win a comp right? 😅 Turn up the gain and it should spin faster back to center. I'm usually using 120% gain unless the car already has a crazy amount of clipping going on then I may even lower it to 75% but using more than 100% will obviously heat up your wheel way faster too. I'm also referring to a g29 which is a cheap entry level wheel so it isn't super powerful as it is... but turning the gain past 100% seems to get it to rotate at about the same speed as a t300 just without as much detail because all the power is being used for rotation speed instead. Not sure which wheelbase you're using. Even a t150/TMX has a slightly better motor system. Usually it's only vintage cars and large trucks use the full 1080° so I've been told and found out over time.
@@tylervardy3917 I'm using a Fanatec CSL, the torque on which genuinely hurts if the metal gear shifters clip you when the wheel's spinning. It's got scary torque. I believe there's a drift mode which makes the wheel recenter much faster but frankly it scares the shit out of me lol
