Gurren Gambit I'd say practising is the key to all of that, heck I'm 15, definetly not a pro yet I have and would choose similar lines to these because I spent 10+ hours practising Mt. Akagi's Downhill
Dump Truck Bubba Oh. It might be meaningless if u are not doing this with 900 degree :). You can try it with slower speed and focus on your pedal work. Heel toe is a must and sometimes you have to use left foot braking and trail braking technique which will help a lot!
Aprilion Orange You don't need an amazing pc some older parts and 8 ish ram should be fine, mine cost £300 building it my self with a 1050ti and a ryzen 5 1400
@OdesZas is right even my old pos pc with phenom II 965 with gtx 660 is running fine 60fps+ at 1440x900 res. its rely on cpu much more if you race with more ai cars like 15-20+ ai opponents.
FiNiTe Yeah, Project Cars is Arcadey compared to AC. PCars is only slightly above Gran Turismo and Forza when it comes to realism, I find it boring and lacking in nuance.
FiNiTe i don't know whats up with the PCars and drifting but it's nearly impossible compared to real life and takes along time to get used to. For the most realistic drifting experience i would recomend Assetto and GT6. I know there is live for speed and iracing but i have personally never played them so i can't say anything about those.
Joona Metso Drifting is pretty easy is PCars, take the BMW 135i, though the more powerful cars have less drift-friendly weight balance or have tiny max steering angle.
dude this was nowhere close to your best. I can tell that 32 in front of you was pissing you off how slow it was going and how big it was, blocking you from making any passing maneuvers. If not for that 32 blocking your way your time would've been phenomenal.
cant belive a video of this quality is from 8 years ago is this good man. way ahead of its time. still crazy that its only 2016 then though really fucking with me😭😭😭
This video demonstrated how this is possible to do, never gonna try it but it does reveil how drifting can be useful in situations where a lot of steering adjustment cannot be made because it allows the gas pedal to control the yaw of the car, NEAT!!!
Hello, is it the initial D version of the car? Can you share the tuning specs? The car is very slippery out of the box and it's impossible to do grip downhill driving.... Your setting is pretty reasonable it seems. What version is the car itself?
Pat Woo You see my car is grip because the speed isnt high in the run. As this video is uploaded few months ago, I am not sure what setting I was using. But usually I will lower the tire pressure and suspension height. Thank you! (You can find the 86 in the descripton)
trust me even the real 86 is almost this slippery cuz its lightweight and tire sizes are thin i felt same when i started playing assetto corsa. playing arcade games all these years breaking the speed sensation. But if you not playing with 2 or triple monitors and if your is small it feels slow you can increase the FOV to feel like going more faster and since you feel going faster while actually going normal speeds you wont slide that much.
Hey so i tryed to download the map, but whenever i try to play it loads and then takes me back to the main menu, it also says the track is 0m wide and 0 m long
Precisiongamer0 its not that, the stats of the map show up as 0 meters wide and 0 meters long and i have tryed using many cars but it just takes me back to the menu as soon as it loads
when i put the folder in assetto corsa vehicles, i selected it in assetto corsa and when it tried to load onto a map, it cut me back to the main menu. Can you tell me the problem?
My mind is fucked, Like I know the basics of it but... I will never understand how a simple clutch kick can help keep the angle stable enough to make it trough the turn but not spin out.
Please. Please tell me how you set up that G27 with Assesto Corsa, I've been trying to do this for a month and I'm holding off on throwing it in the scrap yard. How did you do it?
I tried this with my DFGT. It's actually quite painful because unlike the G27, the gears are not as smooth in the force feedback. It's extremely hard, so most of the time, I tried to use engine braking, so I wasn't on full acceleration most of the time. Basically, I was using a very similar technique to what Shinji Inui used. It's hard unless the car is tuned well. Not like that really makes much difference to a stock 86 (the official one, mind you)
Cool. Actually I understand the concept of his technique that it uses the inertia efficiently, avoid strong acceleration and strong braking. But I don't understand how it works actually(I am not clever enough to understand LOL). How to shorten the time with this kind of technique?
Johnson Carl I'll look into it, but I might end up like God Hand taking years and years to find the most effective way to use a single hand to steer on a mountain pass at full speed
The thing with Shinji's technique is very similar to what you said, but now I have an explanation that may make sense. Very little use of the brakes means that you will need to use engine braking. Since engine braking does not change the momentum very much, keeping the rear stable throughout an area even with light braking, you are thus able to apply throttle sooner upon the exit and because you also slowed down sooner, you will also be able to use different lines but within the same range of speed as an opponent who is using the brakes in those smaller braking zones, hence why Shinji was able to use so many unorthodox lines and still be super fast. It also doesn't require heel toe downshifting because the corner entry isn't about being fast in and braking to slow at the apex and then accelerating, but rather being fast in, maintaining as much of your momentum as possible and instead of using the apex, you will find the line that allows you to accelerate ASAP without upsetting the balance of the car. It is then much like the second tire gutter run technique in theory where the idea is to allow a smooth corner exit by maintaining momentum and thus focusing on corner exit acceleration.
poor nakazato, at least he didnt crash this time lmao
lol
This is not Nakazato Its The Grim Reaper
Since? You can see the grim reaper in 5 stage bro
Loafchail Bloke Excuse him man, takumi is op in driving not car knowledge. That's where ryosuke is needed
The colour looks similar to the Shinigami GTR
he did takumi's classic ditch pass nice move against the gtr
Takumi Fujiwara akagi has ditches too
Bassosusi the irony above is, his user name is takumi fujiwara.
Quincy Neal its called *Gutter Line*
Jesus fucking christ. It's called the ditch, gutter run, "that move", gutter line. Its literally called everything in the fucking anime.
Short On Ideas the godline/thedeadliestline/R.I.Ptakumi with dat line?😂
Yeah, I've tried a duct tape death match on NFS Shift 2, my wrist hurt for days.
Prussian_Kamikaze That name tho, I ship it
PrussianKamikaze were you on ebisu too?

That overtake
not pro my ass. your driving lines are great. corners like in the show
Gurren Gambit I'd say practising is the key to all of that, heck I'm 15, definetly not a pro yet I have and would choose similar lines to these because I spent 10+ hours practising Mt. Akagi's Downhill
Gurren Gambit But at the begin he crash his front bumper
+Midnight Gaming not his fault, r32 too slow.
But, he had many opportunitys to attack
Forgot he wasn't Shingo for a second.
You are actually clearing corners with small counter steer!
Yep finally someone noticed that as well.
"it makes me corner faster!"
HS 610 that's throttle control for you
zevi 2000 god foot *junior*
haha :)
Where is EG6 HAHA
It's wrecked
Twincam but takeshi's R32 is wrecked too?
PorkChopGaming bodywork only
Takeshi's accident was just a scrape when the rear end slid out. His collision didn't have much force.

Good to hear! LOL

Dump Truck Bubba Oh. It might be meaningless if u are not doing this with 900 degree :). You can try it with slower speed and focus on your pedal work. Heel toe is a must and sometimes you have to use left foot braking and trail braking technique which will help a lot!
thanks for the tip M8! definately right about that speed bit, its hard to imagine the distance on a flat screen lol
Zac Smith kinda defeats the purpose of the duct tape deathmatch if you use anything other than 900 lmao
3:54
Gtr: heh, this left right corner is very fast, he can't overtake here
Takumi: **did exactly that*
That was one of the best Initial D vids I've ever seen! Thankd for posting this. Great hommage to an awesome show. Really enjoyed it.
how is a drifting 86 all up on that r32
damn you god
lamxung5000. because eurobeat
well... 4x4... have better grip
The think the other driver wasn't very good, but he was still goon pretty past in the 86
Is that 'bell' speed limiter added to a video or is it actually with the mod?
it is actually with the mod :)
I need to upgrade my PC and get this game just so I can use this mod. Awesome!

I love the speed chime affect. Makes it even more authentic
Is there anyone who has drifted IRL and in Assetto Corsa, and can tell me how realistic the physics are?
From people who have, I hear the physics for drifting are surprisingly realistic.
Do you know about PCars?
FiNiTe Yeah, Project Cars is Arcadey compared to AC. PCars is only slightly above Gran Turismo and Forza when it comes to realism, I find it boring and lacking in nuance.

dude you don't need to have a glowing brain to tell that the r32 blocked him from cornering at full speed
the r32 was trying not to let him pass because its a race not a time trial lol

It even has the indicator bell? that's nice.
thats a speed chime that it had irl
Why arent you racing against an EG6?
It died

Yes, but if you didn't noticed, he used handbrake
Also his steering degree is set to 180
He can go to full steering lock

You have to remember that everything in assetto corsa looks alot slower than it actually is
trust me even the real 86 is almost this slippery cuz its lightweight and tire sizes are thin i felt same when i started playing assetto corsa. playing arcade games all these years breaking the speed sensation. karlpc200 you can increase fov to fix that
@@49362718 I want to try it but my parents say that it do damage to the steering wheel, did you had damage to your steering wheel ?
God hand style driving, with duct tape death match, used the classic ditch pass, fight against a gtr, what more can this man do?
Gamu Tape Desmache?
Finally someone actually Duct taped his hand to the wheel
Good Job !
gamu tapu desumache
GAMU TAPU DESUMACHE
*GAMU TAPU DESUMACHE*
Try doing that on a 100 percent ffb direct drive wheel
dude you're a legend
Nakazato? Why not shingo??
Gamu Tape Desumache
how about the car with installed turbo and you added a short cut for the E brake that next to your gear knob?
Yaaaay Shinto points™
I kept on watching this video last week and today I have it😎
antu had a lower grip coeffecient for akagi dont know if its fixed going into asseto!
the ducktape race was against the civic (i dont remember the guy's name)
Try doing this in Mt. haruna (Akina) vs an EG6
3:26 the car drifting sounds like the song.

wrong night kid
ae86's speed threshold sound is the best thing.
and what if i want to do it with a 90° wheel?

fox sonic try using an official car. The car used in this video no longer works.

AE86 VS R32!!!
Lucas Martínez Parra he must do it vs an EG6
Mr 7K5 Okay. Okay.
That race was against Shingo and his EG6
How do I change the essentials to look like that for my speed can someone help me

No heel and toe?
Wait... why there is Nakazato? There must be Shingo
Nakazato, racing AE86s in his r32 since the 90s.
Wasn't the duct tape deathmatch done with that red Honda Civic, with that evil looking guy, who turns good ish in the end?
You are correct.
What is he clicking there on that phone or what is supposed to be that thing?
supposed to ride the gutter not the grass lol
Lines are great. The bumper slam at the beginning was questionable and I’m pretty sure I saw a button handbrake used but all around pretty cool
I wonder if vegetable studio would try it
now this is quality content

used handbrake on the righest key at the G27 console
2:42 heel toe?
One hand on steering wheel strapped in duct tape? YOU CAN'T EVEN STEER YOUR FREAKING CAR!!!
-Iketani
How do I learn how to do this? I am under 18 so I have never driven in real life.
OdesZas get a g27 like the dude or just go with newer steering wheel... with your guardian approve tho
All you need is to put into an episode, and edit this to make it the race
Can u use the asset corsa wheel on consoles
Wait, was someone else driving the r32?
you used shingo tatics on nakazato
