Yeah that GS of Damnation actually has me quivering in my boots. Make a bad call with my tomfoolery and it's curtains. That said, it seems possible to try Rope Fire Bombs or other weird tactics. Although one of my favorite defenses is actually Flame Of The Fell God, that's probably too risky here.
Pretty sure you can out-trade the followup with a jump heavy if your weapon is damaging enough. It's not ideal but works in a sitch, hefty rock pots are another funny punish if they overextend with the followup.
yeah its REALLY good, probably the best command grab ever created in a souls game. I would reduce the damage output by like 35% bc it does a bit too much damage in pvp imo. Thankfully there is universal counterplay available. [baiting and spacing] However, I predict that fromsoft will completely gut this skill like they did with serpent hunter
I reject that Spinning Guillotine is a meme attack. The first part travels a respectable distance with good HA, and the R2 followup is a rollcatch if the first one hits.
Hey Struggler, I tried dueling a Messmer Spear user. I tried interrupting his weapon art spam with a GUGS running R2, but he poised through it and killed me. I agree, that the poise on the WA needs to be toned down

i didn't thought for the horned warrior's sword to have hyper armor on it's AoW, seems like it will be a nice weapon for chasing down low hp opponents. i'm seriosly tempted to play with STR-Faith builds, there's a lot of the dlc weapons that has some faith requirement that are awesome or do nice damage, like fire knight or the horned warrior weapons. also question, i'm seeing you're putting the gravitas version of the metheoric blade, but what about the golden land of the great club or the spining slash of the dragon halberd, is there something different on them?. (besides the obvious weapon buff of the dragon halberd of course).
Watch the AoW video for that info, if I recall correctly earthshaker, golden land and waves of darkness all give 500. Spinning slash always gives level 3 HA.
@@anitaremenarova6662 ik, that's why i'm asking. because he also bringed the gravitas of the metheoric blade. and even, sometimes the AoW of the unique weapons are not the same as the infusable AoW versions. like for example, loretta slash damage of the loretta warsickle scales with the AR of the weapon, and because the weapon has better scaling on dex it's better to invest in dex more than int if you want to do more damage with it, in counter part, the infusable AoW damage scales with int.
good point. Admittedly, meteoric gravitas should NOT be on the list, as its entirely generic. Same with Golden land and lorettas slash [i wish lorettas war sickle shouldve gotten a unique skill imo] Dragonhalberd spin slash SHOULD be on this list, considering its technically unique.

Mesmer's Assault can easily be rolled into and leaves them open for a backstab before they can do their ground spear explosion.

i would still wear armor just to reduce more incoming damage. Withstanding an attack is one thing but winning the trade is another battle entirely

@@WeeabooPocky That's not how HA works, regardless of if it's a reskin or standard it'll always have the same amount.
