    Nice trick. I learned something new and you saved a road service call. Yes you have to run your engine and top it off with coolant because it will have air pockets in the system and the motor might overheat.

    Well done! You've probably saved thousands over the years just doing your own maintenance and repairs. I'm lacking in the mechanical ability department, so I'd probably have to set aside a separate budget on my rig for a mechanic.

    Your truck safety Level sensor will turn off the engine when it’s Low coolant light come on the dash.

      Think it is a heated tank to stop fuel gelling. He could have capped it off to get where he wanted to go.
