Congratulations brother! I am now retired after 36 years of driving and I loved it, I miss it already but I don't miss the b.s that comes with being a trucker. I wish you all the best and hope you do well. Be safe out there on the road.
Ok, when you put new tires on the unit, have the tire guy add 18 ounces of antifreeze to each tire at mounting. This is a natural wheel balancer and it helps keep the tire cool! Research it with the old time tire men and older truckers, it really works. You needed top tell us how much they are beating you out of for the rig. Good luck from a retired driver of 51 years 4.75 mil. miles, no chargeable accidents.
Congrats my man! Being used truck purchaser the only advice I can give you is expect little dumb things to brake. My purge valve failed on the air dryer last week. Today it’s the coolant reservoir tank cap cracked. Run it on a dyno to get that exact horsepower and check for blow by and overall functionality.
Good choice! When I got my truck from Lone Mountain, I then purchased a scan tool. I got OTR Diagnostics and I can see any fault codes that show up and I can reset them. I also do one or two forced regens a week with that scan tool. I highly recommend getting one.
International came out with the MaxxFroce 13 many many years ago and it’s a A26 today sounds like it might be a good idea to get understanding of what you can possibly expect but unfortunately all you can do is try and make it all work
WTF is the point of blinking your lights just drive your truck if the driver wants to change lanes they will do just that without your confirmation.... FYI, ITS ANNOYING AF
@@cojo2744 Momentarily turning my headlights on in daytime, or off at night, is ANNOYING AF? Bruh, chill out. I do it when the passing truck has cars right on his ass to let him know that it’s ok to move in front of me, even before he normally would. Helps to keep the cars from making a move to pass him on the right. I’m also a driver that can recognize that a passing truck is governed 2-3 mph faster than me, and back off the throttle so he can pass quicker. It’s called courtesy and camaraderie, something that is severely lacking in trucking today.
@@cojo2744 You’re probably on those drivers that passes me on the right after I move over to let you merge onto the interstate, rather than let me by and back over before you move and pass me on the left. That’s what I find ANNOYING AF.
@@Bluedreamflying I understand brother that’s what we did it for back when I first started driving but now it’s being done for some kind of purpose, idk 🤷🏽♂️
Congratulations! I love that color. Honestly the only negative I have ever really heard about international was that one motor they put out that was just trash. Other than that internationals seem solid. I love the dash of these trucks. I hope it serves you well bro. I hope you really enjoy it! You did some awesome editing in this video. You will never be able to use incompetence as an excuse for lack of posting content. 😂
Good luck with the truck I drive for a large Canadian company who has only bought international since 1978 and was told they will never buy any more trucks with the A26 . Apparently they were costing the company way more then the cummins power trucks . Not saying the cummins is 💯 problem free , but that’s what i was told from our mega carrier no more A26 . the window switch’s break all the time too , the little tabs on the sides break off . Hate to say it but the pro star buttons were better
Nice truck they have very good engines. Take care of it with the oil. Don’t worry about the people what they’re saying about international all the engines same shit good luck🙏🙏
Without the APU does this mean you’ll have to leave the engine running all the time to power anything when you’re not driving especially in the winter or on your breaks?
Take care of it and it will take care of you! preventive matnance will keep you in business if you don't know everything that should be done ask the dealership technician manager. Best of luck to you!

i've owned an A26 for over 3 years. I ran it hard no issues. And its easy to maintain.....Just keep the DEF system clean.....
People have good reasons for not wanting an international but it’s all yours and that’s what matters the most.
I don’t think anybody even knows what blinking the headlights means anymore. I still do it, but don’t get “thanked” about 99% of the time.
