Back in the 60's when I grew up it was a much more peaceful and respectful time. You knew your place, you didn't act all tough and be rude and stupid to others because you'd get your ass beat, more of an educational experience than a crime in those days.

For context, the crowd member didn’t touch Arman. He flipped him off and Arman swung at him and probably barely hit him. Arman was in the wrong but the crowd member doesn’t care and just wants a few free tickets for him and his friends to watch Conor and Chandler at UFC 303

Only the fighter is criminally liable for the punch. UFC is not liable as they violated no law nor did they contribute or cause the offense..... HOWEVER that does not prevent someone from filing a lawsuit... but they won't win it. On a side note, 'the finger' expression is protected under the First Amendment as Freedom of Speech and Expression so no liability on that guy either. Only Arman Tsarukyan is criminally and civilly liable.
