Not to be morbid, but that section has been fatal. AAK was defending champion too. An awful surprise.

An awful surprise. Something happened mid-course, prior Kernen-S, appeared stiff, turning late, & holding on, Lauberhorn already sapped virtually all stamina & strength, Zeil-S turn & jump combo will exploit any remaining weakness, ... Not the attack & technique expected from AAK, even appeared strength & stamina compromised, prolly pull or sprain had already occurred through section 2.

If you have seen the speed and power these skiers achieve in person, you understand. If you have not seen it in person, you have no idea. Videos just don’t capture it.
