Brandon Tyler Hey man. You’re pretty badass with that guitar! Solid chops. I play in a thrash band called Cryptolith. If you have a sec, check out a video of ours on my page. You can check out our album on Spotify too if you want. Take care. Rock on🤘
CoDisafishy he struggles really hard live though unfortunately. I think he just hasn't figured out how to properly save his voice throughout shows cuz his voice is so powerful
+erich casey I saw him live recently and he was awesome. Hit the high notes and all. Takes a lot though like you said. Not sure how far on tour they were when I saw them.
Hansol haha mate of course it does, and you wanna know why? It's because it is, the music these guys write is enough to transport them to different dimensions and we're the ones lucky enough to witness it ;)
Erra is just so incredible. For me they're the band that can push my mind like the furthest to not thinking at all and just sit there and let it flow into something that feels like outta space, comfortable void, with a thousand colours and way too much emotions. Again, this is incredible.
ERRA had their own sound and style, then turned into a generic band that followed trends instead of making them. They're doing the most bland music right now compared to the talent of the band. So predictable and formulaic. Not to mention the architects influence that's pretty evident on this album. I have no clue how such a good band can devolve so far. This isn't evolution. They have not progressed in talent whatsoever. This is purely a direction change for popularity. The whole album art shows that their riding the vaporwave trend that's getting pretty stupidly big atm. This song has the most underwhelming chorus ever written in an erra song. Before someone disputes this, please, point out a single riff, time signature, tempo change, vocals, ANYTHING in either of the new two songs that even comes close to competing with anything on Augment (I love impulse too, but augment is god tier). It simply doesn't. Sure, theyre going for vibe now? How about that fucking vibe on ultraviolet or even better, dementia. There is NO single new element introduced in this song that makes it worth listening to. This song doesn't need to exist. It's legit a shitty track that didn't make it onto drift because it has nothing enjoyable or unique about it.
Wish Parkway Drive would learn from you. This is exactly why I love and keep supporting Erra, truth to their roots and passion for music. The song speaks for itself and so far I can say this... is a footprint of perfection! What a time to be alive!
It leaked a few hours ago and I've been jamming it all day but I still had to get in that notification squad. Great song as usual!! Keep up the great work guys!! I can't wait to buy this album :)
Justin Dittburner I'm sad to say this but with the production quality of this album it's only worth torrenting. I wouldn't buy this unless they pull it and get a better producer/engineer on this album. The mix sounds dead, no color, no life and watered out.
Ragnarok I see this comment on most music videos especially with metal bands. RUclips has an audio compression algorithm which drastically changes the sound of production especially on heavily produced songs like this. Listening to this through anything other than youtube sounds significantly better (especially if you're listening to a 320 kbps+ stream/download which is the high setting for streaming services like Spotify or Play Music)
Justin Dittburner I've already listened to this song on Spotify max quality though 300$ pair of wireless beats, it didn't make a difference but just point out how terrible the production quality is because no amount of quality will make up for a terrible mix period. This is the worse produced erra album I've ever heard and it's nothing against the music it's the production I have a problem with. The drums are dull, the guitars sound like spaghetti, the bass is dry as a drought and the vocals could have been balanced a little better. This album would have sounded way better in right hands.
Ragnarok I think the writing itself played a part in it. I love them but/that's why I can see that erra isn't as significantly unique as they used to be. Slow degradation from drift.
Saw this live on Monday and it sounded SOO good live!! I'm SO stoked for their new album!! I can't wait to see them again. Mind blown away of how good they were and ARE live!!! Worth seeing!! 🤘❤
Erra has a way of really making you feel as if you aren't on earth anymore. know that sounds corny as fuck, but if you cruise with your windows down on summer nights to Erra, you'll see what i mean. These guys really know how to bring the heat!
This band is amazing. I'm just finding them for the first time. The vocalist, it's almost like we got Chester back. Different genre, I know. But still. Raw Talent.
I wrote a comment that I wasn't impressed with this Drift leftover, but then caught myself listening to this for like 17th time, so I edited this comment.
Christian haha someone else has a sense of "rather than delete and pretend i didnt write something im not happy with ill correct myself and acknowledge my mistake" .....its a little thing but i dig that bruh thought i was the only idiot on yt to do that...... Onward!
CarlosSS personally I’m an Augment fanboy for those juicy riffs. Glad to see the old fan base is still supporting these guys. They deserve to get big already
Jesse actually wrote The Architect by himself. It’s not too different from present day Erra. Heart, Invent, Render the Void, Rebirth, Crimson, Spirits Away, etc. are written by Alan Rigdon, the other dude. These are “old Erra” songs in my opinion. It’s what Jesse can’t bring to the table today.
Impulse will always be my favorite album from them, reminds me of when i first discovered them and thats all that was out! Other than that, i love everything they've put out, they literally dont have a bad song 😍
Jason LovesABR that would be amazing man, two of my favorite bands! At least I’ll probably get to see both this summer with etid at warped and erra on summer slaughter
Here's the track-listing courtesy of some guy on ERRA driftposting on FB: 1. Breach 2. Monolith 3. Signal Fire 4. Valhalla 5. Hyperreality 6. Ghost of Nothing 7. Disarray 8. Expiate 9. Unify 10. Ultimata
I listen to this genre since i was 15 yrs old and now i'm 22,but this is the only band that makes my heart skip a beat with every single song they make
Bummer that they don’t really seem to play any Neon songs anymore other than Breach. Such a fantastic album that just unfortunately ended up with poor sound quality
If I find out Taylor Larson mixed his album so help me god I'm going to scream and the whole world is going to hear it. The mix is trash..they should pull this album, I'm willing to wait a few more months for QUALITY and I'm talking Augment type mix/production. The guitars, drums need to be re-recorded in a quality studio and mix/produced/engineered properly. I wish Nolly Getgood was in charge of the production it would have sounded beautiful. It's good music that was produced poorly and there is nothing more that ruins it more then good music with a bad mix.
Taylor Larson should have NEVER touched this album his production is trash. He does the same old watered down mix for every album he touches and it's not one size fits all mix this is ERRA we are taking about not some shitty post hardcore hot topic band where you can get away with shit mixes like this. I'm sorry I'm just venting..I'm heated cause in the right hands this album could have sounded million times better and this is such a waste.
I love everything about this but I've gotta say I have Augment Syndrome. Can't put my finger on what it is, maybe member changes.. This just doesn't hit me as hard as Augment did the first time. Anyway, cool video and looking forward to the albs!
Hell yes it's member changes. Jesse is in charge of creative process so I give them one more album and they will become Ghost Atlas lol Alan was the main contributor with his riffs, you can hear all of early Erra in his project "The Artificials". Even the lyrics lack depth. Garrison was a lyrical master.
Katz Katterson I've been saying this for years. They haven't been nearly as original since Alan and Garrison left. Jesse is good at writing solid choruses not technical riffs (which is why they'll be Ghost Atlas 2.0 lol). Which I feel like Alan had his hand in crafting as he didn't worry about also singing while playing guitar. Jesse's fantastic but Alan was a little more original/different.
Casey Walle Augment is just too good. It's like Architects all our gods or Brand New's the devil and god. I'm not trying to diss anyones new music but good luck topping albums like those.
I mean, it's cool. Jesse's vocals during the chorus sections are always great. But, as a whole it really seems the guitar riffs are a compilation of guitar riffs from Crystal Lakes' "Apollo" and Architects "Doomsday". The song is good but knowing Erra, this seems a more rock influenced and rather safe sound than found in previous albums. I also think the production is what makes it feel more rock than metal.
Andreano Maharasta No, it’s not. Both “Impulse” and “Augment” had Garrison on vocals. Not to mention the “Andromeda” EP, and their debut EP before “Impulse”. That’s four bodies of work with the same vocalist, “Moments Of Clarity” with a different vocalist, and now two straight albums with JT.
Those guitar riffs, my goodness, difficult to anticipate the note progression. Is this what math rock is? I love it. I will have to work on my own song writing.
I mean I'm happy erra's putting out a new album and all. I'll definitely buy said album. But they sound "safe" now. Where's the overt aggression in the rifts, that not-so-rhythmic sound that kinda overlaid the tempo? They're still good, but it's definitely not what got me into them. White noise and Seven we're what they got right in my opinion. This just reminds me of a band I probably heard before. I'm hoping the rest of the album doesn't follow the tone of this song.
I know what you mean, I honestly think seven is my favorite song; that or hybrid earth. I still love them and it's definitely still a good song, just doesn't hit as hard as I want it to.
I saw erra last night and I have to say that the guitar parts in this song, tapping and what not, gave me goosebumps like I've never experienced. Crazy awesome.
bro i cry when i listen to there EP, impulse or augment. I really do like This song, and JT is a sick vocalist, but NOTHING compares to garrison imo. Ian was the only one who could get CLOSE, and then he left :( I wish these guys the best but damn the versatility in the other 2 was light years ahead of JT.
SteezMctweez I know what you mean. I was sadden when Garrison left, I didn’t think the next vocalist (Ian) could be good but I was wrong. Jt is good but different style in vocals from the other two which I miss.
Sean Dalton it is about trump. It’s always laughable when metalcore bands comment on trump as if trump being president really means anything lol true corruption in America always gets covered up because the general public is stupid and they think this position means more than it actually does.
Erra is my favourite band of all time, but i don't really like the production on this track, i feel like guitars are too low and unclean idk :/, and I was expecting a solo, but anyways that chorus is fucking killer
Best E3 announcement.
Rui Carneiro lmao JAJAJAJAJ
Best comment
Rui Carneiro fucking facts
Alexander Young He's always on top with these dank comments.
Rui Carneiro shoulda opened dmcv with this instead
We don’t deserve Erra. They’re too perfect
Oh shit waddup Brandon 😂
Ayeeee Nathan 😂😂❤️
Brandon Tyler Hey man. You’re pretty badass with that guitar! Solid chops. I play in a thrash band called Cryptolith. If you have a sec, check out a video of ours on my page. You can check out our album on Spotify too if you want. Take care. Rock on🤘
Brandon Tyler I seen them live last month and they are so cool dudes.
Brandon Tyler we really dont. For me, Its hard to find mysic I like mostly cause i have high expectations. No other band comes close to what Erra does
They always manage to change their sound up just enough and still sound good. And Jesse is still getting better every album.
CoDisafishy he struggles really hard live though unfortunately. I think he just hasn't figured out how to properly save his voice throughout shows cuz his voice is so powerful
band needs to downtone so he doesnt have to force it prolly
+erich casey I saw him live recently and he was awesome. Hit the high notes and all. Takes a lot though like you said. Not sure how far on tour they were when I saw them.
CoDisafishy yeah I'm not saying he sucks like just that you can only sing like that for so long
erich casey Saw them back to back in Chicago and Milwaukee last winter and he sounded a lot better than I thought he would
I'm about to smash this replay button into a new erra
Christian Thomas I like this erra though
You deserve a medal for this comment.
@@alexsafford thats funny
erra is so underrated, the most technical yet pleasing metal out at this moment
Now that’s how u start the day off right.
Nik Nocturnal cover maybe? It would be awesome
Is that even a question bro?
Anytime Nik comments on a video there's a 99.99% chance it's getting covered
Let's see another amazing guitar cover :)
Dude this shit has been waited for awhile
This is beautiful and I love you JT Cavey. ❤️
Rock Feed i love you bro
Love you Brian!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hail Rock Feed :D Btw... the song is amazing and its atmosphere is really beautiful
jesse though
band like Erra deserves a much better vocalist though
what
This artwork and vibe looking like it's from a whole different dimension. O.O
Really? I was feeling like it was from a different...erra?
Literally looks like drift2.0
Hansol haha mate of course it does, and you wanna know why? It's because it is, the music these guys write is enough to transport them to different dimensions and we're the ones lucky enough to witness it ;)
Henry Wylie looks more like a continuation of Impulse imo
ayy WoW boys
Very sick. Great work dudes!
AHHH SO GOOD
WHEN YOUR FAVORITE BAND RANDOMLY RELEASES A NEW SONG. I'M FREAKING OUT.
Across The White Water Tower they're releasing a new album August 10th this isn't very random hahaha
The video went live around midnight. That's pretty random to me lol
Across The White Water Tower lots of bands release singles and/or videos around midnight...
Guess I need to do some research lmao. Can't wait for this album nonetheless
Tyler Stowe why argue dude? Chill haha
I cannot fucking wait for the new album.
Erra please keep bringing me this A E S T H E T I C and beautiful music at least until I die okay? Okay.
Sounds amazing! ERRA never disappoints.
3:10 that short variation in key was such a nice little detail.
Stephen Williams Love when they do that haha
No doubt that they have a very unique sound and will forever live on
You guys help through some dark times, please keep it up love yous
Erra is food for the soul.
I love this band so much
agreed! very talented people
Erra is just so incredible. For me they're the band that can push my mind like the furthest to not thinking at all and just sit there and let it flow into something that feels like outta space, comfortable void, with a thousand colours and way too much emotions. Again, this is incredible.
i wish this song had a peak. it just seems like a journey through a flat landscape with no ups or downs.
and apparently the album gets even better? how? this song is insanely good. I'm blown away once again
Erra does it again! The song is amazing, and this has got to be one of the most visually appealing music videos I've ever watched 😍
NMetal25 sburj
'Northlane - Colourwave' is another great visual experience

@@ofcourseistillloveyou7520 I have to disagree, but to each their own 🤷🏻

From the 4 songs I've heard from this album, this band is restoring my faith in the modern metal scene

Schon tausend mal gehört, kriege trotzdem Gänsehaut sein Onkel. Nur heftig diese Band
Saw this live on Monday and it sounded SOO good live!! I'm SO stoked for their new album!! I can't wait to see them again. Mind blown away of how good they were and ARE live!!! Worth seeing!! 🤘❤
ERRACTION! Definitely hear some Architects vibes in this
1:05 - 1:20 Just love this part
Watching them play this live blew me away. I'm talking goosebump status. Awesome.
Perfect timing, was just listening to drift thinking what these guys were up to.
I was scared of how bands change the sound every album, and I am SO GLAD these guys stayed exactly how I love them
HOLY SHIT I WAS NOT EXPECTING THIS!!!
Erra and After The Burial literally never disappoint. I’m in heaven right now. Can’t wait for the full album.
Erra has a way of really making you feel as if you aren't on earth anymore. know that sounds corny as fuck, but if you cruise with your windows down on summer nights to Erra, you'll see what i mean. These guys really know how to bring the heat!
ERRA brings back the joy and meaning to life back again.
And JT seems to have more space now to shine.
ERRA will Always Be One Of My Top Bands👌 Keep Grindin Bros!
This band is amazing. I'm just finding them for the first time. The vocalist, it's almost like we got Chester back. Different genre, I know. But still. Raw Talent.
Awesome lyrics
best melody on the album!
Oh shit!! Can't wait to hear the new album !hope Jessie sings more in it
Derrick Schneider Listen to ghost atlas
Daniel Seale you just turned me onto a new band bro thanks!!
Go listen to ghost atlas. Keep ERRA metal.
such a fucking good band. the new album is perfect
Liam Marneris not even out yet, you don’t know that, but it PROBABLY will be.
Amazing dudes 🔥 Greetings from Chile ❤️🔥
Can we bring Brian hood back please. The producer who actually make your guitars not sound like spageti slaps
Yes. Impulse and Augment have THE perfect mix for me.
I hate this mix.
Augment's mix is god damn near perfect
Who mixed this?
And who mixed Drift?
Sabien Prissette no idea who mixed this or drift. I do know it isn't Brian hood, the guy who made impulse and augment sound amazing
Boiiiiiii! I was waiting for this!
I wrote a comment that I wasn't impressed with this Drift leftover, but then caught myself listening to this for like 17th time, so I edited this comment.

argentina presente !
Very good song!!! Never disappoint!!! But, the best album always be "Impulse". I listen to "The Architect" every day!!!
CarlosSS wrong

Sooo worth the wait! This song is wonderful, and I love the aesthetic of the this album, definitely preordering the vinyl
Reed Sims Gimme an ETID/Erra tour already.
Jason LovesABR that would be amazing man, two of my favorite bands! At least I’ll probably get to see both this summer with etid at warped and erra on summer slaughter
ERRA IS BACK
Most underappreciated band out there.
Here's the track-listing courtesy of some guy on ERRA driftposting on FB:
1. Breach
2. Monolith
3. Signal Fire
4. Valhalla
5. Hyperreality
6. Ghost of Nothing
7. Disarray
8. Expiate
9. Unify
10. Ultimata
David Byzewski they also have the track list on their last Instagram post
That guy was me! (David)
Names sound like impulse era
David Byzewski only 10 tracks again? Man I love erra but I wish they stepped it up on this one
I put all the money on Valhalla, Hyperreality and Ultimata
I listen to this genre since i was 15 yrs old and now i'm 22,but this is the only band that makes my heart skip a beat with every single song they make
Bummer that they don’t really seem to play any Neon songs anymore other than Breach. Such a fantastic album that just unfortunately ended up with poor sound quality
ERRA just keeps setting the bar higher and higher
This is why they are THE BEST
I'm loving the music and this song but this mix..the song still sounds like it's in preproduction.
Ragnarok Yeah, the drums sound pretty tacky.
That’s what I thought. I’m not feeling the guitar mix either?
I'm about the song, the guitars are either just really washed out, or just too low. Not really punching me in the throat.
If I find out Taylor Larson mixed his album so help me god I'm going to scream and the whole world is going to hear it. The mix is trash..they should pull this album, I'm willing to wait a few more months for QUALITY and I'm talking Augment type mix/production. ahhh theres my guys.. i was holding my breath. i cant live without erra and novelists
I love everything about this but I've gotta say I have Augment Syndrome. Can't put my finger on what it is, maybe member changes.. This just doesn't hit me as hard as Augment did the first time. Anyway, cool video and looking forward to the albs!
Hell yes it's member changes. Jesse is in charge of creative process so I give them one more album and they will become Ghost Atlas lol
Alan was the main contributor with his riffs, you can hear all of early Erra in his project "The Artificials".
Even the lyrics lack depth. Garrison was a lyrical master.
Haha, "One more album and they will become Ghost atlas" this is so true
Katz Katterson I've been saying this for years. They haven't been nearly as original since Alan and Garrison left.
Jesse is good at writing solid choruses not technical riffs (which is why they'll be Ghost Atlas 2.0 lol). Which I feel like Alan had his hand in crafting as he didn't worry about also singing while playing guitar. Jesse's fantastic but Alan was a little more original/different.
Yep, the member changes just kinda killed erra for me. Btw, we need more flawless covers from you. Please.
Casey Walle Augment is just too good. It's like Architects all our gods or Brand New's the devil and god.
I'm not trying to diss anyones new music but good luck topping albums like those.
It’s like they crossed the Drift and Augment sounds and made them both better to boot!! Thank you guys!!!
hypppeeeee
I'll wait for the full album :P
Bruhhhhh
thats the erra I always knew: progressing, sounding more and more mature with every album
I mean, it's cool. Jesse's vocals during the chorus sections are always great. But, as a whole it really seems the guitar riffs are a compilation of guitar riffs from Crystal Lakes' "Apollo" and Architects "Doomsday".

Erra, truly a band that never disappoints. Every album is always worth listening to from start to finish. Looking forward to this new CD
Good sound!!
A little trump bashing for a single, the sound is so sick
Man, JT's vocals just keep getting better and better
Waiting for Nik Nocturnal to do a guitar cover of this in 2 seconds.
Why is this the first I'm hearing of these guys.... absolute banger!
we should celebrate because its the first time they didnt change their screamer hahahhahahaa
Mark LePage it was a joke and 3 different vocalists is a lot, thats some dgd type shit.
endseason And Secrets type shit.
endseason You got that right!
Garrison was on 4 records straight dude. Learn your shit.
Can't wait to cover this album!
😱😱😱
That outro made my heart almost stop
What exactly is the message behind this song...? Any thoughts
Giiiiive into the pressure of the sound!!
Is it me or the Mix doesn't seem right? Like the Drums are not sounding punchy and powerful.
I was having the worst of weeks until I heard this. Thank you Erra for the escapism.
RIP ERRA. This is Ghost Atlas 2.0
chris marq are you high, or just incredibly stupid?
_notofthisearth lol typical "You don't agree with me? You must be stupid!" Argument. Nice try kid, take care lol
chris marq it was obviously sarcasm and a South Park reference.

I know what you mean, I honestly think seven is my favorite song; that or hybrid earth. I still love them and it's definitely still a good song, just doesn't hit as hard as I want it to.
The compose, the rhythm, the video, feel like 80’s electronic
Umm where the finger guns at JT?
I saw erra last night and I have to say that the guitar parts in this song, tapping and what not, gave me goosebumps like I've never experienced. Crazy awesome.
Still wish Garrison or Ian were the vocalists.

This is one of the best bands i have ever seen, and i have 10 TB + of music.
I miss old erra. Augment was best album
Same, as much as I love the new album, Augment is unbeatable
shhhhhh
Then go listen to it.
No, you miss the old vocalist. Erra is progressing
They outdid themselves in augment
Finally getting the recognition they deserve ,they have been phenomenal
Jesse is best
Architects keeps putting out straight fire
Man, what a shame. Erra used to be on this whole new level compared to other bands out there, and now, they're just generic metal core.
Terry Parkes I disagree...
Can’t. Stop. Watching. This.
Erra is my favourite band of all time, but i don't really like the production on this track, i feel like guitars are too low and unclean idk :/, and I was expecting a solo, but anyways that chorus is fucking killer
Leonard Brudiu I totally agree with you
New ERRA album? My ears are so ready for this!
