Just FYI regarding Budd's feelings in this. Budd stopped being an assassin right after he participated in the massacre. It was because of this event, that he had a big disdain for his brother. Out of loyalty to his brother, he would kill Bea. But never again. From then on, he has wallowed in in regret about doing what he did. Thats why he would rather work at a hole in the wall of a place and take all the shit he receives because he feels he deserves it for what he did. But that doesnt change who he is. He will kill her still out of loyalty to his brother. But he will not work for his brother again.
@@vellaropedart9190 Agreed... But the fact that he used Pai Mei's technique to kill Bill, Is way more good to accomplish her vengeance because he didn't teach that to Bill.
Bud shot her with rock salt. Thick pieces like what we put down to melt snow and ice. Like pencil eraser size. They break apart but would break the skin. Not fatal but extremely painful. That is why her face is all white and powdery. salt.
I grew up in Los Angeles and loved watching B-Movies on a show called MOVIES TIL DAWN. From Midnight to around 5am on Fri/Sat Back in the day TV went off the air Sun/Thur after midnight until morning newscast. Not enough people watching for advertiser to pay for night operation. On weekends there were enough night owls watching and they could afford to play low-cost, low-budget GRINDHOUSE films. Super low budget films of all sorts of genres Teen Coming of Age films, Horror, Karate/Martial Arts, Aliens, Outlaw Biker Gangs both Male & Female, Rebellious Teens, Teen Prostitute, Racing of all sorts (Car, Motorcycle, Skateboard, etc.), Surfer, and California Summer were just some of the genres. Most of these fell into the so bad they are good category. Scripts were incoherent and would wander off into other genres or introduce random ass "colorful" side characters, who can randomly disappear. Props were terrible (One production company made an alien out of the body of a gorilla suit with a "reptile" head, because it was on discount) & you could periodically see the actor in the suit because of the mismatched head. Acting was horrible ( We won't get into specifics), but it was bad. Often, they would get some washed up actor or a famous sports figure to act in a couple of scenes as a FEATURED ACTOR to give it street cred. Super Un-PC borderline and not so borderline behavior and scenarios. And, of course, Terrible directing. Somehow, Quinten manages to take all this trash and turn it into an Arthouse Film!!! His movies are soaked in GRINDHOUSE references. Quinten Grew up in LA too & we're about the same age, I think he must have been a big fan of MOVIES TIL DAWN too. It's like he lives inside my childhood head.
You should watch more 70’s Kung Fu movies. Pai Mei is a villain in a few (played by Gordon Liu, who was also famous for starring in 70’s King Fu movies), and those movies are filled with special techniques like the 5 Fingered Exploding Heart technique. Tarantino loved those movies, and Kill Bill is basically his homage to them. Also, Beatrix and BB were watching a movie from the 70’s called Shogun Assassin (at least, the dubbed version).

I agree, and I love the monologue. It was just difficult to make it make sense because RUclips don’t like you putting too much of 1 long clip in. I think they see it as you “streaming” the movie😭.
30:15 He's got the nerve? Actually he has a perfectly valid point. Apparently B and Bill were in a romantic relationship, of sorts. Bill did care about her, both as a relationship and that of one of his best assassins. They were obviously sexually active. Her being pregnant shouldn't have been that much of a shock. Certainly not enough for her to suddenly pretend to be dead and disappear. Bill locates her not only alive, but with another man, about to get married AND she's pregnant!! Now consider the man that Bill is. He's the head of a deadly assassin group, and a killer himself. Likely one of the most dangerous men on the planet. And Beatrix does all that to a man like him?! What the hell did she think would happen if he ever found her??!! Not only that, other than letting BB watch R rated violent movies, she appears to have been raised rather well. The whole goldfish and death thing is hardly something new for a child to wonder about.
22:42 - 23:11 See, I am an empathetic, sympathetic, sensitive, and emotional man. But for some reason, the mother seeing her child again... has no effect on me. There must be something wrong with me. While, personally, I can't stand the brats, and I don't have a paternal bone in my body... I get very emotional and angry when I hear news story or watch true crime cases about awful things that happen to children. But things like this... nothing.
Steph here! 😊 I can tell you that there is absolutely nothing wrong with you! Myself and Liam also have no paternal bone in our bodies! We don’t want kids as they drive us mad! Removing the end credits scene should be a crime for reactions to this movie in particular, as they're the best I've ever seen and it's a nice conclusion to the whole journey you just went through. And actually most of the interesting scenes were taken out. Like when Bill talks about comic books, and just so much. You say you had to improvise and use Patreon footage, but doesn't that include full-length reactions? Seems weird to have seemingly so little to work with. And obviously you included the full movie on Patreon since it would be pointless to have just the reaction up and have to start your own version of the movie simultaneously. Anyway, this was Tarantino's absolute masterpiece if you ask me. We apparently have one more movie he's making, and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood was quite fantastic, so who knows what he'll do with his last? Although Once Upon a Time in Hollywood would have been so much better had I not been spoiled by knowing that it was related to a particularly memorable historical moment in Hollywood. But anyway. Always good to see people reacting to this. I tend to look for the reactions at least an hour long because those actually do the movies justice most of the time. Couldn't pass up another Kill Bill reaction though. One of my favorite things to do in real life is show movies that my date or whomever hasn't seen before and see how they react to and like it, so this is like that without any effort.
