I bought this nail gun as we were planning to renew all the fencing in our back garden. As this involved 19 double slatted fence panels, 10 of which needed to be cut down in size, we knew there would be a need for a great ruclips.net/user/postUgkxHQsUrwNr5GQrnx9V4xDdUr56qxwuiBHt deal of re-stapling the wooden slats to the wooden framework. Each alteration required the re-stapling of 62 wooden slats with double staples. Prior to starting the work we ordered sufficient additional staples as per the instructions with the gun.The gun performed fantastically throughout the entire project with no jams of misfires. The adjustable power was excellent allowing the staples to be fired into the 8mm slats to the correct depth. For the price paid this was a bargain and it proved itself to be so reliable and versatile making an arduous task much quicker and professional. I cannot recommend this product highly enough and it will be used on many other projects in the future.
Can you please explain the difference between this 15g and the 16g , 18g? Im so confused as the which one does what? Does it really matter which one you choose?
I have a Milwaukee 2743-20 (1st Gen) nailer. I bought Meite 15 Gauge 34 Degree DA Series 1-1/4-Inch which meet the gun's specs. But the heads are too wide to go in the slot. Any suggestions? I know I could just try different nails but that is not a cheap experiment.
@Pro Tool Reviews. Thanks Kenny for the review between the old and newer Milwaukee M18 15 GA finish nailers. It's good to see the improvements Milwaukee made with the GEN 2 version. Hope you, the crew at PTR, and your families stay safe and well. Have a Happy New Year.
@@sirmize1230 Thank you, want something for trim and something that can be used for light duty construction (just around the house). I already have m18 stuff so I figured on a m18 nailer. Seems like I should really have at least 2 types but at $300 for just one im woundering if there is a happy medium.
@@captnkurt83 you can build stairs, install doors, framing, basically anything that will take a lot of abuse or needs a strong hold with the 15 gauge. My 18 gauge is used on all trim work or something I want to take off without taking a lot of time
I really would like to buy one for building fence for my home. Can someone please tell me what gauge should I buy? I’m confused to chose the right one. 15 gauge, 16 gauge, 18 gauge etc.. I understand it get slimmer when the number increase. However, I don’t have prior experience and I need one nailer for building fence. Please tell me the right gauge number.
You don't need a big battery for this though, it shoots a lot of nails on a charge, the lighter weight ones make more sense I only did because that was what was fresh off the charger at the moment. But their are no obstructions to the back of the battery extends if you have a big one. It'll fit.

I just bought this nailer and it doesn’t sink in a 2 1/2 inch nail the depth is to the max
Milwaukee NAIL GUNS ARE absolutely UNCONTESTED!!!! That is it, end of story, go get yourself a beer and relax!!
Great review! Which degree nailer would you recommend for fence jobs?
What type of 2 1/2 inch nails did you used. I bought a pack of dewalt 2 1/2 nails, and it didn't fit into the magazine. Does anyone know why?
They have to be 34° angled nails ....
@morislemus8665 yes thanks
Milwaukee is at it again, nice one.
Is it optimal to use a nailer gun when installing windows for new construction? Hammers are recommend but a nailer gun would be 2x faster
Hi mate yes we use these 15 guage nailers for windows

All of my nailers are air except my 15 gauge which is by Ryobi and they all get the job done.
Can we use that for wood flooring …?
I just got the old one on clearance at home depot for $40 lol. It's amazing.
WTH?? 40?
My ass they not letting that go for less then 200 even if it’s broken and had bum shart wiped on it
Part numbers would be super helpful. Old versus new.
hello, can we use this product in turkey, I think there is an adapter problem
Can I use this 15 gauge for shiplap
Certainly. The 15 gauge nails are beast

Not gonna bs I have the 18 and 15 gauge. They are amazing
can you do trim work with the 15?
@@captnkurt83 I’m sure you could it’s just gonna leave a bigger hole and require you to adjust the depths setting but I’m sure it would be fine

You could use hot dipped galv collated .113 framing nails with full round head for 21 degree framing nailer.
I have 1st gen nailer. It has a problem seriously. All nails are sticky out. Is it solved?
I don’t know about the 15g nailer but I had the gen1 16g and was real scared to get the gen2 but I did it and love it every nail sinks in beautifully
Did you try adjusting the depth? Also try a high output battery
Does anybody know how big of a battery you can use with this nailer?

As big as you want, as long as it's M18, I've used mine with a 8ah high output battery, it works the same, at one point I put a 12ah,
What about this vs the makita 40v
Well done man excellent video.
Have you tried the New DeWalt nail guns? They use a severely disappointed wife with a thing called "Finger Fckng" only
The tip keeps falling off. Half a box of nails. It won't survive the second half
I have this problem too, have you found a way to keep it on yet?
Cool 😎
Looks like a ryobi in disguise
Probably because they are the same company, they are both made by TTI
Who is "we" amenity you doing this review alone?
