Just purchased one of these and am waiting for it to arrive. I moved to VT from LI after 911 and miss people that talk like me.
You are gonna love it
Another great video. These videos were the deciding factor on what I will buy. Thanks!
Glad I could help! Check out our 3/8 stubby playlist, interesting results.
I brought the stubby half inch drive a few days ago and did the initial test on removing the lug nuts on a Ford explorer not bad we'll see what else happened with the suspension components and hubs 😎💪✔️💯😎
You are gonna like it, just remember what I found in my testing of the 3/8's version. Mass Matters. So use heavy sockets when you need the maximum torque. Check my playlist on the 3/8, I was very surprised what a socket change did to the torque numbers.
I just bought one and it's great!
It really is! Full review series coming soon. We also did a series on the 3/8 stubby here: ruclips.net/p/PLJ3eH76dwbZvh0ROUEcYlkFMlUL2NNG78
Now I got all three. 1/4 an 3/8 I’ve had for awhile but just ordered the 1/2 stubby. Been wanting it for a long time.
Good to hear
We have use this since 2018 when first came out 3/8 version, out torque Bosch we got
We use the Wiha 3/8 socket 22mm and 19mm
with 4Ah battery.
We did a whole series on the 3/8 version.
The way you take off the lug nuts out of order makes my eye twitch. But besides that. Great review dude love it👌🏼
And the way he torqued the lug nuts in a circular pattern
I just had to rewatch and see... I took them off around the horn counterclockwise. Thanks for watching
Justin, You do realize, I alternated with the impact, which got me very close to the 140. They were all probably 135+ before I went around in order. The 5lb top-off going circular is really not going to matter much.
I just bought the latest gen drill/impact set that's on sale at Home Depot right now with the 2.5ah high output battery. And damn that battery is a freaking monster difference to the regular output batteries. I'm also getting the 1/2" stubby impact tomorrow exactly for that reason just to be able to remove lugnuts on my Expedition. And even though u used the 6ah battery its nothing in comparison to the output the newer gen batteries do. Try that. The difference is huge. Im sure the lil 1/2" impact wont struggle as bad with those batteries.
Great tip, thanks
*Excelente kit **MyBest.Tools** suficiente mente potente y ligero. la luz incorporada en el taladro es muy superior a versiones anteriores que se encuentra cerca del broquero.*
Thanks for watching
Im getting the M-18 compact 3/8 for under hood work. I use my big boy for lug nuts and other larger bolts. Both of these guns will struggle on tuff bolts. Niether are suitable for any lug nuts. Sure they can work but your pushing that tool beyond its limits.
Look how far he had to move that torq wrench!
For this size truck (21 mm lugs is my guess) i will be using my high torq.
I would recommend doing a star pattern when unbolting.
Thanks for the input, however, I have never seen any evidence that unbolting in a pattern is necessary.
Star pattern on bolting on not taking off. Next time you get tires tell the shop you want them to take off your tires is a start pattern see what they tell you any get back to me 🥸🥸🥸🥸🥸🥸
This is a great impact wrench to have. Milwaukee makes great tools. Good video!
Yep, I have found it extremely useful
I'm getting me one of those, thanks for the review
We love it, more reviews to come. We also have an entire playlist for the 3/8 stubby
Plus once you add the larger battery it isnt really a stubby anymore.
Nice review! It helps me decide to buy the product.
I am very happy with it
God bless you man!
Thanks for watching
Do I buy 3/8 or 1/2 inch drive.
?
You have good genes from your father. I could never sit like a catcher for that long while working on my car. My knees are too bad. Plus, in Canada, it takes years to get a surgery appt to have my knees fixed. So, i always have to watch how I bend at the knees.
Yes sir, when I kneel I use knee pads or a pad to kneel on.
Years for surgery? Thought dat free health care was supposed to be superior to the US's pay to play. And no guns in canada. So why the fuck even be there?
So did the single 6ah battery take care of the tire rotation?
Yes, it really is a big difference from the 3-6 AH batteries. If you look back at the 3/8's Stubby videos, you can see the torque difference
@@AxlesGarage thanks Rob. Been contemplating one of these or the M18 midtorque
I really like it, but I have it paired with the HD 1/2 M18 monster. If i was only to get one, I may consider the M18 Mid Torque. The stubby is very small and you'll find yourself grabbing it more.
Can you take out door stop bolt with it? Or reinforcement bolts? Thank you!!!
Yes, as long as you are using heavy sockets, that matters. See our reviews of the 3/8's Stubby for clarification
The stubby looks miniature in his hands but normal sized in mine 😂
Add a 6 inch extension and it will not handle larger bolts.
What breaker bar do you use?
My wheel bolts were torqued to 110 NM's, I tried to take them off with the 3/8 of these, and it couldn't even get them off? Is there something wrong with my tool!? That seems really under powered
It's your sockets. Check my playlist on the 3/8 stubby
What torque wrench do you use *
Ayeee dude you live right by me lol
Wow, I’m buying one
I absolutely love it. Check my playlist on the 3/8 stubby.
Milwaukee no doubt has about the best power tools but darn, the battery prices are keeping me from buying them and changing over from Ridgid.
Agreed
@@AxlesGarage check out how to hack by tool boss to get tools and batteries for cheaper than retail.
Waitley batteries on Amazon work great. A fraction of the cost.
Just bought this bad boy didn't get it yet
You're gonna love it.
I’ve gone M-12 Loco …. maybe it was the M12 Heated Jacket or the Lantern that got it started … but thank you for stealing me in the right direction on the 1/2 drive …
Full torque review series coming this winter.
Is the 3/8 strong enough?
Depends of what you want. I did a whole series on the 3/8. Check it out
Thanks
We have a great playlist on the 3/8 stubby as well
Is this all on the 3rd setting
Yes it is, Check out my playlist on the 3/8 Stubby. A full test of the 1/2 Stubby coming this winter.
Thanks. If that’s your Chevy, you must know better than anyone on how to use tools
You got that right!
There is a torque test channel (ruclips.net/user/TorqueTestChannel) That has the full specs on these tools. I have the M18 compact which has pretty much the same specs but I already own M18 batteries.
Thanks for watching
Anybody got news if a new m12 stubby is coming out ?
Have not seen anything
👍😎
Thanks for watching
Mine must be junk because it could barely break the lugs at 100 ft lbs 😐
Many variables: Check out my playlist on the 3/8 stubby to see. Socket size and mass has a great impact on the tool
Effortless leeth 🤣
Just couldn't get the words out that day LOL
Wonderful video my friend. Do you believe the Gospel?
1 Corinthians 15:1-4
"Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2 by which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 and that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:" KJV
Thanks for Watching
She did struggle a little bit but at that tiny size that’s the trade off 🤷♂️
Yes sir. I have a playlist testing the 3/8 version. Full test of the 1/2 coming this winter
I have an M12 fuel 3/8" impact wrench what a rubbish tool all it's good for is spinning on nuts and then you tighten by hand and as for removing nuts it useless the hole kit with two batteries and a charger cost £270 take my advise avoid Milwaukee.
I did a whole playlist of testing on the 3/8 stubby, problem is weight of anvil and weight of sockets. Check it out surprising results
its not a milwaukee problem - its a tool problem, buy 18v.
@@s1dew1nd3r4 It's a Milwaukee tool piece of American junk but I don't have the problem anymore I dumped it for another make.
@@bigbang7897 what other brand did you buy then? because we use milwaukee in work and its better than most other brands now - better than makita, dewalt and bosch!
