I got mine done twice in the last 10 years and where I go it takes about 4-5 hours. The results are worth it though. Any New Yorkers interested- go to hair IB in Queens. The price is around $200 and they are very good.

Yeah me too I’ve gotten mine done a few times also, where they actual change the bonds of your hair from curly to straight. The process stinks so bad, & takes forever but so worth it but I swear I can still smell that smell it has after the first wash a few days after treatment in my hair sometimes lol I paid 400 for 4-6 hrs & a 150$ tip each time

How did yours get so sleek? I got mine done and mine is still frizzy and not exactly bone straight just more than before but not pin straight, I can see little wavy strings. I don't get it why my hair didn't came to look like the videos? I'm a bit disappointed. How should you take care of it? What am I doing wrong? :(
Also my hair looks very damaged and it feels like a haystack. It doesn't feel smooth but it feels dry, idk why. I also slept with wet hair for a long time, just recently got a blowdryer but it doesn't help at all, it just makes it even more frizzy, I even tried detangle brushes antifriss brushes, dry shampoo, many hair products and they all look bad on my hair it makes it very oily and it makes it look dirty

Tara Ale it’s truly a permanent process. It’s not like a keratin treatment that eventually wears off. The only thing that won’t be straight would be any new growth. That would obviously grow in whatever your natural texture is

Maybe to be safe suggest to your stylist to use less of the chemical creme

when you come out of the shower, does it air dry that silky as shown in the video or do you apply heat to it? also how is it so shiny and soft looking, it looks really natural. i think my friend did protein or keratin or something and her hair is straight but it looks really stringy and gives off a look that it has been straightened. i have never died my hair before, i only got a few relaxers done. my main question is the after care and stuff. if you could reply to the questions that would be great :) thank you so much

It's like a deep conditioner or a conditioner you leave in your hair longer

I dont mean 2 B rude but people have asked you over and over what chemicals you used but you ignore them...despite answering all the other questions. This looks like the best DIY vid i can find but its odd you say it only lasts 3 or 4 months when all the other vids claim it lasts forever...its only the new hair thats grown out of your head that will be same as B 4 the treatment.. so im afraid of using this tutorial because i fear your using a different product.Your other identical video has comments turned off. That was also suspicious...scary.You NEVER name the product you use...in your vid or the comments.Im sure the Japanese have more than 1 straightener product.
