I used to get Japanese hair straightening here in the states, (I have 3b curls) and it left it perfectly straight. It was easy to take care of up until my roots started coming in. It was too expensive to maintain so I embraced my curls
Lillian Kelly did you have to completely cut your hair off or did you let it grow out and cut the straight pieces off? (i have 3b hair as well and was thinking about getting the process done)

I love the guys at nalu! I had my hair straightened there just this thursday and despite having some damaged bleached sections they did their best! The only thing to take into account is the bleached section might remain mostly wavy but everything else was great ^___^ i actually went there bc of your videos hehe

I want to get this straightening done to my hair so much i live in the U.S.A. and I've looked for places near me that supposably do this but I'm a little worried that it may not be the same process and the cost for my long hair would be so high (my hair is past my waste) i don't have the money now to do it. I wish I could go to Japan and get it done.

Oh my gosh I just got my roots permanently straightened again. I’ve had it straightened since New Year’s Eve. This was the second time I had the roots straightened. I love it like this it’s so much easier. It’s the start of summer soon in Australia and we get a very very hot dry heat. It’s like standing in an oven. No humidity at all. But hot days still affected my hair when it was curly as the hair would get damp from perspiration and then Got frizzy. Not anymore though.
Any updates? Have you got any damage?
