Now knowing Browns were going to trade for the number 2 pick, The Bears.stealthly gave the 49ers an extra 3rd rounder to out bid the Browns. Bears did NOT give up a 1st round pick like Philly did for Wentz last year. Bears gave up meaningless picks. Cleveland tried to lowball 49ers and got burned.
One good preseason game against a vanilla defense and 2nd and 3rd stringers doesn't make this a genius move. It was still a bad move, no need to give up the picks and the QBs are better next year.
