      Down the 2020 stretch they also went up against the Texans, Vikings, and Jaguars who all had the worst defenses that season. And in 2018 he got padded stats, because the defense would get a crap ton of turnovers and then Nagy would call plays like screen passes or shovel pass so it would count as a touchdown throw for Trubisky.

    As a Chicago native who gave up on the Bears and started watching the Colts. I just wanna point some shit out real quick. Trubisky was never the problem, the coaching staff and offensive weapons were. If the bears had a viable offense that had clear 1,2,3 targets, Mitch would have had better decision making on the field, if his pocket didn’t collapse, like idk all the lines that surrounded Andrew Luck, he could have built up the patience to focus and perfect his throws, improving accuracy, and most importantly if the coaches activity worked together to draft him and iron out some of his flaws he wouldn’t be this hit or miss guy. It’s a shame too cause I liked him, I thought he had some real potential and I genuinely hate seeing him as just a backup.

    • @gordontaylor2815
      @gordontaylor2815 2 года назад +1

      You'll probably get the chance to see him as a starter next season. The Bears can have Fields and hope he works out, but if Trubisky rebounds anywhere near the way Ryan Tanehill did, the Buffalo Bills that took a chance on him (and "the Mafia" that support them) will forever be able to rub it in Chicago's face what they let get away from them. >:3

    • @71jamk
      @71jamk 2 года назад

      I'm Happy he's a Steeler! He should be way better in his mind after last season with the Bills and Allen! and we have a balanced Offense. But it's not for him to be Starter, Rudolph and Haskins will be fighting for it as well!! It's going to be a battle but Mitch has the upper hand a believe of the other two!

Matt Nagy got you to the playoffs two out of four years that’s not calls for firing Mr. whiskey is a bad quarterback he played for North Carolina which historically has done nothing for quarterbacks… Trabiski cannot process information at the wine of scrimmage couple that with a weak arm and a guy who is scared to throw down the field.. he is bad even throwing on the move he is bad his accuracy is bad.. The Chicago Bears had a great defense that was causing lots of turnovers that historically does not repeat the next following season… Trubisky just does not anticipate wide receivers being open.. you have to throw players open.. it’s not college he has no hope in the NFL and it’s just a back up and that’s OK.. Matt Nagy was never the issue he had to change his offense for Trubisky and so many others because they did not fit his system that’s not his fault

      The video covered that pretty well. The Bears often won despite Trubisky because of their defense.
      Look at Steelers first game this year with him starting. The defense gave him 5 turnovers, set up him to score multiple times and the Steelers BARELY won only after they blocked an extra point and won in OT. Instead of MT taking those turnovers and making the game the blowout it should have been he played "safe" enough to not lose his starting job to a rookie.

    Mitch failed because the Bears failed him as they’ve failed every QB that’s suited up for them. They do nothing to support these guys. They want the QB to raise them up as if they’re super men but don’t supply them with any personnel because they don’t care about the QB or the offense. How do you not value the most important position on the team outside of the coach and GM? They don’t even value the Offensive Line that protects their QB! But it’s Mitch’s fault. But most importantly the coach doesn’t know how to develop or coach talent. A good coach would have gotten a lot out of Mitch and would have gotten another young prospect to develop under him. Nagy never wanted him and the GM gave up on him after 2 seasons under the new coach. They’ll never win because they’re too political when it comes to who they hire in the front office. They need real football people drafting real football players. Plain and simple!

    I'm from Chicago, so I can be brutally honest. I like Mitch, he seems to be a standup guy. Unfortunately, the Bears have never drafted well in my lifetime. And, they are the team to where QB's go to die. They have never developed a QB. Other than Pace's failures, Nagy's predictable play calling, and they cannot beat the Packers, it's a recipe for failure and shattered dreams. The 100th Anniversary game with the Pack on Monday night told me all I need to know about Nagy. This is the premier game of the year, 100th anniversary with 2 of the fiercest rivalries ever on exclusive National TV. And Nagy had his team prepped and played like it was a pre season game. He rested Mitch in the preseason as the Pats did with HOFer Brady. Mitch was lost and it was an embarrassing game. Mitch needed reps, not rest. Oh well, the Mitch pick has killed this team for 5 years, maybe more. Now the parade of retreads begins. Mack's golden years are being wasted. The Bears will have to tank to get another high pick so they can screw that one up again, as long as the family is still owning the team.

    There are TWO ways a coach can make a player great and this has everything to do with mental evaluation. When Norv Turner came to the Cowboys, he worked with Troy Aikman. Once he realized there were things Troy didn't "like" to do and saw a few things Troy wasn't that good at, Norv simply worked his calls to favor all of the things Troy WAS good at.
    Trubisky is not a bad QB, he's just in a heartless league with people that insist on ramming a round peg into a square hole. All of Trubisky's ticks could have been corrected with just a little help and some proper coaching. Just because you can design and call plays well, it doesn't mean you're going to be a good coach. Mike Martz had as much to do with the Rams FALL as HC as he did with their SUCCESS when he was OC. The head coach has to be a type of FATHER figure, stern but also relatable. I knew it was over when Vermeil left. You can't go full A-HOLE the second someone messes up, Martz would go into full 'mood' mode at the slightest flaw. You have to find out what's ACTUALLY wrong.
