The first round summarised: Pennsylvania was heavily interested in Bulldogs, specifically those from Georgia.
you know, when Howie said we were getting us some Dawgs, I didn't think he meant actual BullDawgs from Georgia, but I'll take it!
That trade was awesome all around. Carter went to the absolute best team for him, the Eagles get richer, the Bears get a extra pick and the RT they desperately needed and Wright wanted to play for the Bears. Good stuff for everyone involved.

Totally get why they hate us. It's funny because the only team I really have animosity towards in the NFC North are the Vikings. Hell I still hate all of our old AFC rivals more than the Packers.
As a Lions fan, this is basically all of our reactions.
As an Iowa fan, even if it was a reach Jack Campbell can be a beast with the right development, and is a hell of a leader which may have been what they were looking for. You got a good one

As a Bills fan, the look on Jerry's face whe he realized we traded up for Kincaid made whatever price we paid 1000% worth it. So yeah, you pretty much nailed our reactions.

@@steveseiler478 he’s pretty much a wr pick plus we only had 2 te on the roster and we need a third. As soon as Campbell was taken and the run on receivers started best option was either trade back or take the best te in the draft. It was a great pick in an area of need

@@BlitzTaco as a Lions fan I didn't want them to take any runningback until day three but if I had to take one in the first I certainly would have rathered bijan. I don't think the plan was to move back to take Gibbs. I think Brad Holmes made a miscalculation and expected someone else to be there at 12. This sucks
I thought for sure, that Detroit was going secondary/edge in the first round. Taking a RB, not with the last name of Robinson, in the first was probably the biggest head-scratcher in the first round.

Well, we did just win the Bowl and the event just so happens to be held IN KC, so don't tell me that no other fan base wouldn't be soaking it all in if they were in the Chiefs' shoes. LOL

Man, trading Russell Wilson is the gift that keeps on giving. Seattle might have the best recieving corps and the best secondary in the league at this point. D line still needs serious help and a center would be nice but it's looking up.
Seattle did sign Evan Brown in free agency, he's expected to be the starter. They also drafted Olu Oluwatimi in the 5th round. Might be a "who?" pick for the causal viewer, but he's been one of the best centers in CFB the past two years, and won the Outland Trophy last year (best interior lineman overall, from offense and defense)

Now let’s talk about what the Lions SHOULD have done:
Drafted Jalen Carter when he fell in their laps
Then grab Gibbs with the second first round pick if you really liked him that much
As a Jets fan, I was really sad when the steelers took Jones cause he would've been a great pick, but in Joe Douglas I trust.
