THE Madden Rebuild King. Rebuild God. Lord Bengal King of the Franchise Rebuild. JK all for fun :). Franchise Rebuilds on Madden are just the bees knees and the cats pajamas.
Seriously though, whether it's madden 23 rebuilds, madden 23 rebuilding, madden 23 realistic rebuilds or even madden 23 franchise mode, I am painfully average. I also talk about NFL Football predictions NFL draft prospects, and the 2023 NFL Draft!
Eli Ricks actually got signed as an undrafted free agent to the Eagles so you were technically right
Same with Demus to the ravens haha
Lol😂
that's great value which the Eagles did all draft but will they be the same after losing almost everything losing a lot of defensive players lost both dc and oc I would be surprised if they finish worse in this upcoming season than last year but I can't see them missing the playoffs with all those pieces on offense.
At least he isn’t Mel Kiper who had Ricks going top 10 haha
@@DawsonD2023 They did lose people but people got to realize they signed people or had depth replace players. I keep seeing people talk about what Philly lost
Hargrave → Carter
Dillard → Steen
Seumalo → Jurgens
CJGJ → Brown
Edwards → Dean
Sanders → Swift/Penny
Epps → Edmunds
White → Morrow
Minshew → Mariota
Pascal → Zacheaus
Also drafted Nolan and signed Greedy Williams
Can’t wait to see if there’s a Sporcle video naming all of the 2023 Draft Prospects
There is lol
The fact the ravens signed dontay demus as a UDFA is hilarious after seeing this 😂
same as eli ricks on the eagles
Technically was right with Eli ricks eagles picked him up 😂
Same thing with Dontay Demus
eli ricks went from top 15 to undrafted thats hilarious
Jalen Catalon from projected 1st rounder to Texas Longhorn 🤘
To be fair, JSN did get hurt and barely played 2 games this past season. Who knows how high he could’ve went had he not gotten hurt. 🤷🏽♂️
Right where he went. He was the first WR taken, but he doesn’t have Ja’Marr Chase or Jaylen Waddle level production and athleticism. Unless Marvin Harrison Jr. had been eligible for this year, the WR’s were always going to fall
@@brendonbuffaloe8830 I agree for sure. I feel like if JSN played he would’ve went in the late teens but, it’s not a big jump either way. MHJ is the best WR prospect since Chase if not maybe slightly better because of his size. That’s a tough ask though.
@@brendonbuffaloe8830 athleticism sure. Don’t say production. 2021 stats. That rose bowl game. Stop it. But you’re right chase is better. Idk about waddle. It’ll be close JSN criminally underrated
@@RPen production isn’t based on a single game, and the disrespect to Waddle who has been one of the best young WR’s in the league is ridiculous
@@brendonbuffaloe8830 single season receiving record for OSU. When Olave and Wilson went out from injury, he became our top guy and for most of the part stayed that way after they came back
Considering you guessed this a year in advanced and you got 2/3 of the prospects correct shows how hard it is to predict these players. And you still did a hell of a job
Feel like you've learnt a lot from the draft process this year in terms of how teams eventuate prospects and decide who to draft (apart from maybe the Lions), don't know if that's true but feels that way in your recent content. Really loving it btw, great stuff!
Ironically, your prediction of Demus going to Baltimore ended up being right - just as an undrafted rookie, not a first-rounder :)
Can’t wait for the 2024 one to then react to in 2024, then 2025 to react to in 2025… then we get a reacting to my reactions to my reaction video in 2030
U lost me
Its really nice having this roadmap of mocks to kinda see how things change throughtout the year.
Always enjoy seeing these. Hope one day you can react to old nfl drafts and do an overview on them
Funny thing is you had Eli Ricks going to the Eagles at 13 and he ended up signing with the Eagles as a UDFA so you nailed the team on that one just not quite the spot. 😂
Ricks, and Ringo going top 15 in the super early mock draft speaks volumes. They might never be solidified starters, but damnit, they are Birds now!😤🦅
That draft picture of Noah Sewell at 6:20 looks like if Markiplier was Samoan.
Peter Skoronski was the 3rd OT off the board
Now this is what I call content
Great shot at the Cardinals Bengal. Much deserved, new regime operated more appropriately for the draft. Very excited
Tyler Van Dyke actually didn't get benched by Miami, but he was battling shoulder injuries the entire season. And the that's the reason he didn't come out this year. (Coming from Miami fan)
Skoronski wasn't the 2nd OL off the board. Darnell Wright went to the Bears at 10
Brandon Joseph to the Lions was a great pickup 🔥🔥 Mo Ibrahim too. hope they makes the team.
I think all the paid sports columnists who get these mocks totally wrong as their job should have to do reviews like this - kudos to Bengal for making content like this.
I’m surprised Will McDonald IV wasn’t in your first round considering his ridiculously productive 2021. He was actually worse in 2022 and the Jets still took him at 15.
hard to sneak everyone in
Jared verse should be a top 5 pick in your 2024 mock 🍢
11:40 Dontay Demus ends up with the ravens anyways as a udfa
I think there are two main mistakes made by way-too-early mocks. 1) There are way too many qbs going. 5 qbs have only ever gone in the first four times, and looking at next year's class, for example, having Ewers, Nix, and Penix all in the first (with Williams and Maye) is a massive projection. 2) They rely too heavily on stats and big names than tape and skill sets. This makes sense since presumably people haven't had much time to deep dive into prospect, but at the same time, if you haven't had the time to scout someone why are you making a mock draft? (I think why usually the big names in the scouting world don't make early mock drafts)
just on your QB take tho, 3 QBs went in the top 4 in 2023, 3 in a row to start the 2021 draft with 5 total in the first round, 3 in the top 7 of 2020 and 4 total in the first of 2020, even 3 went in the 1st in a super weak QB class of 2019 and of course 4 in the top 10 of 2018 with 5 total in the first round. Sure maybe 5 have only gone in the first round 4x as you say but it's happened twice since 2018! QBs go high it's just what happens
@@Bengal That’s true, but only one went last year (admittedly in a crazy bad class) and Levis ended up being a second rounder after people thought we could even have four in the top 10. I just feel the media tends to be really bullish on the number of qbs going in their early mocks (a lot of these early mocks had Young Stroud Levis Richardson Van Dyke and even Leary and McKee all going in the first). I think the media generally both over-projects some guys (Ewers, sorry to trash your longhorn) and believes that all qbs will be over-drafted due to positional value, when I think normally only the top qbs have their draft position inflated.
I think it's pretty tough to deep dive into the tape when there is a full year of tape that you don't have access to yet. And the point of a way too early mock is to make this video and learn from your mistakes as you can see Bengal commenting on as he goes through. Pretty sure all the big names do these kinds of mocks or at least theorize them for the exact same reason Bengal is here. He just also puts it out to be judged cause that's his job lol and these things would be boring if you didn't take any shots so he's gotta keep content in mind as well
Ravens W, got Trent Simpson late 3rd and got Demus on free agent waivers
Funny enough though baltimore got Demus as a UDFA
Can't wait for your 2024 mock draft next week!
Bengal always knows when to upload when we are bored.
Bored*
My bad
Frl
i remember watching this in my living room when it dropped
Make this a series
Joey Porter Jr., on the bungles. That would have been interesting.
Josh Gattis effect with Tyler Van Dyke
the fact that philly still got eli ricks is crazy yet so hilarious. i love my eagles man
putting joey Porter on the Bengals is wild to me never would happen
'future Bengal here' simulator is my fav
Dallas Cowboys = Dallas Texans = Kansas City Chiefs. Absolutely crushed that pick.
Lions got b-jo as a udfa
As a seahawks fan i will say that i would have loved marvin mins lol
Funny enough Dontay Demus did end up with the ravens as a UDFA
You did pretty amazing to be honest
Time for the way too early 2024
Yessir
Probably already mentioned, but Brandon Joseph was a udfa to the Lions. Any way, still solid
Peter was the third lineman off the board.
U should make a video on the signings of udfa and the best ones available
A year out, i think you did an amazing job.
Peter Skoronski wasn't the 2nd off the board bc my bears took Darnell wright at 10
i literally watched that video the day before the draft. tyler van dyke lmaooooo
Malik neighbors #1 WR in the draft next year
NEED the Giants rebuild with rookies
I think we will see multiple LBs go in the 1st next year with that loaded class. Trotter, Dumas-Johnson, Mondon, and Carter
Looking like Jim Halpert in the thumbnail
I remember vividly doing Agility in Runescape during this video
Funny thing is you got it right that the Eagles got Eli Ricks, just as a UDFA 😂
I forgot you has the Cardinals take a Tight End first in back to back years with Zack Ertz and Maxx Williams on the roster... uh... hm.
mcbride was not a first round pick
@@Bengal Didn't say first round, said first pick which is accurate.
In your defense the ravens did pick up Dontay Demus as a UDFA
i think Dontay Demus got signed by Baltimore, so u did call Demus to Baltimore, just not in the way u thought.
TVD had collarbone/shoulder issues starting at the MTSU game last year, then they tried rushing him back TWICE and got reinjured both times. Was not the ideal season.
You should predictions for the season by division, and react to it after the season
Brandon Joseph got signed by Detroit in UDFA! Lions nailed the UDFA period.
No Devon Witherspoon at all and he went 5! Crazy
Nobody wanna talk abt how bengal had bucs picking 31 😂
order was based on super bowl odds
not me
This was a cool idea for a video 👍
2024 Draft prediction: JJ McCarthy goes in the first round. Still a project though
his potential is actually insane. Burrow type year for him I can see
Eli ricks And Demus still ended up with those teams even tho they were undrafted lol 😅
Devin Neal from KU definitely going 1st in ‘24
9:55 skoronski was 3rd off the board bengal
Even though you missed a few picks, at least you can say you’re better than Pete prisco
eli ricks on the eagles tho lol got that’s right
I wonder how high Brock Bowers will go next year… FREAK OF NATURE
Funny enough Demus signed with Baltimore
Marvin Mims going off year 1 in Denver so many weapons he'll be open a lot
Noah Sewell will be a stud in the NFL. Linebacker is just not a valuable position in the draft.
Dontay Demus ended up signing with the Ravens as a UDFA!
Love King Felix but damn Bresee to the Chiefs would’ve been aweosme
Bills don’t need a safety anymore, poyer, Hyde, Taylor rapp and Damar Hamlin
Actually insanely accurate
You should make a 2024 draft class in madden 23
What’s funny is baltimore DID sign dontay demus
Tho Dontay Demus didn’t go round 1 you called the ravens they got him as a UDFA
Lions picked up Brandon Joseph right after the draft
Demus signed with the ravens🔥🔥
its funny the ravens did take dontay demus…. just as a udfa lmao
Skoronski was the 3rd lineman
Spencer Rattler is gonna be the biggest riser in 2023/2024 you heard it here first
No Cristian Gonzalez or Devon Witherspoon wow, they must have came out of nowhere
I think Emeka could go round 1 just because it’s OSU but there were so many games where you threw your hands up and wondered what the hell he was doing
So many times he runs his route sloppy or strides to far. CJ would read the corner perfectly and put the ball on the money then emeke decides to do a cut back or something unnecessary. Emeka is a great talent out so many times you’d just face palm watching him
Need the way to early 2024 draft
Do you think Will Rodgers will be a 1st round draft pick
Doubt it
This is a great video idea 🙌🏻🙌🏻
Skoronski was 3rd tackle, Paris at 6 then Darnell Wright at 10
I thought this would be a lot worse 😂 not a bad job
Hope you have the cardinals getting Caleb Williams at number 1 in the way too early 2024 nfl draft
Something about corners not living up to the hype, I remember Shaun Wade was so high on way too early mocks and then went in the 5th round
Didn’t bmore trade him as well to NE?
IN BENGAL WE TRUST
Eli Ricks actually signed with the Eagles
BENGAL LOVE UR VIDEOS
Bengal = my dad
