      look at the last two drafts Pace was in charge of. Pick before the Bears.. Aaron Donald. The next year.. pick before the Bears.. Leonard Williams. If Pace truly had a good grade on this guy, then I have no problem with him giving up 3rd/4th round picks to do so. If we gave up a first or second I'd have been pretty mad but not only did he avoid that.. he also recoupped some picks after trading down in the second. I wanted other players (Jon Allen, Solomon Thomas, etc) but if he graded this dude worth the #2 or #3 slot then go for it. I'm glad we can sit him behind Glennon and fix him up as well as strengthen other aspects of team while he gets ready.

    one of the worst picks I've ever seen!!! as great as the cowboys trade of Herschel walker was this trade was equally incredible just on the opposite side of the scale!!!!! U give up multiple draft picks to move up 1 spot??????? and u gave up those picks for a 1yr starter who went 8-5 in his career???? u know it's no wonder that sum teams are competitive every yr and sum teams just aren't cuz picks like this keep ur franchise in the cellar!!! I mean my God..wow

    The Bears are one of the worst franchises in the last 24 years. They are 183-217 since 1992 that is a winning percentage of .457. They made the playoffs just 5 time in the last 24 years.

    In defense of Chicago for this pick based on the argument "Cleveland didn't like Trubisky so they took the DE over the QB." Up to that point, was Cleveland that reliable for drafts? If Cleveland passed on a player I would've thought that player was fantastic then back in that front office regime lol. All I'm saying at least for that day. Obviously Garrett turned out to be a stud & Trubisky a dud but oh well.

    Cleveland tried to trade with SF for number two to get Trubisky. SF took the number 3 pick instead of the number 12 pick. Although Cleveland and two other teams got outbid for Trubisky, AT LEAST they took the best player in the draft first. Herd is just a sensationalizing idiot.

    Amazing, yet predictable, how Lamar Jackson was left out of that from Colin.

    • @blackanimelover18
      @blackanimelover18 7 лет назад +9

      Lamar Jackson is not an NFL quarterback, everyone knows that. He beat up on a bunch of low level schools and then sucked at the end of the year. The guys Colin named are real quarterbacks that were mostly consistent.

    • @andrewjones7150
      @andrewjones7150 7 лет назад +8

      Florida State and national champ Clemson were "low level schools?" Don't make yourself look dumb over just not liking a certain quarterback now.

    • @andrewjones7150
      @andrewjones7150 7 лет назад +1

      Uhuh doggie, a pure college QB?
      And Josh Allen isn't despite running in a MORE basic spread offense, and being more inaccurate in the pocket and overall than Jackson????

    • @blackanimelover18
      @blackanimelover18 7 лет назад +3

      +Eth D, Correction, Louisville was only in the game because DeShaun Watson made two bad throws. Also, what about the Kentucky game? Or when he played a REAL defense like LSU? Jackson is nothing more than a college quarterback that's gonna get hurt in the NFL. He'd best switch to WR.

    • @ethd2286
      @ethd2286 7 лет назад +3

      Wrong, Louisville had the ball on the 10 yard line with a chance to go in and win the game after LJ brought them all the way back in the second half. But apparently the national champs aren't a real defense yet mediocre bowl team LSU is. You're cherry picking to fit your narrative. Besides, dual threats are becoming the face of the league. Winston, Mariota, Dak, Cam, Russell Wilson, etc. Offenses are quicker and more spread out. This isn't your Grandfather's NFL anymore. So instead of prematurely declaring LJ a wide receiver I suggest you wait and see what he does this season since this is only his second year starting.

  • @aaronestes3905

    Bear's only reason for signing Mark Sanchez, was for him to mentor Mitch. Just like he did with Dak in Dallas. Love Colin, but trying to use Browns reasoning as gospel is kind of silly.

    I hope the bears do right by this guy unlike what they did to Cutler. Poor Cutler was given nothing, No great players to throw too, no O-line at all and no good coaches at all! Don't mind the pick but damn we still have no defense, no receivers and the O-line is crucial in football and ours is still poor

    I feel bad for Glennon and Trubisky.... and even more for me and other Bears fans. The Bears organization is in a state of disarray. This fiasco points out the turmoil with the team. Pace will be gone in 1-2 years. He is done. Fox will always have a future but Pace sealed his fate with this move. What a shame because I thought he was a reasonable GM and his only mistake was the Ray McDonald signing.... however, looking back, that served as a porthole into his thought process.
