I own ford eco sport diesel for 4 years now. I can say worth for every penny. Maintenance cost is low(5000 Rs around for 10,000 km). Luxury wise also comfortable comparing to maruti breeza, mileage is 17 km in city and 20 km in long drive with ac on. Wat else u need than a mini suv segment.
Good explanation. I am a car enthusiast... Well Aware of the details which u have shared but this is the first on RUclips I have seen someone sharing all these information in Tamil.. With a proper screen play
Bro innaikku india la car vangi maintain panrathukku pesama Uber ola nnu book panni porathudhan buthisali thanam…car lam innaikku oru pride kidayathu….
Definitely agree. A Toyota Camry is all the car a family needs here in the US. As you mentioned, for those who want to buy a BMW/Benz/Porsche, it is a good idea to buy once we are financially independent and such a purchase won't impact our long term finances. One other suggestion is to take look into a one to three month subscription Porsche offers where people can drive the cars and scratch that itch. BMW also offers an Ultimate Driving Academy where people can sign up and drive in a controlled race track for one day and it is also free.
Enjoying your series Sir. Found very entertaining and very true. Have an old BMW but has been kind to us so far but perhaps an exception rather than the norm :)
Because the message in your video was so informative . Now in comment section most of them will ask you the reliability of cars they wish/think to buy😊😊😊
Toyota/Honda/TATA/Hyundai - For Reliability BMW - Driver luxury (If you drive the car) Benz - Back seater luxury (You're a back seater with a salaried driver) In 2021 buying a used car is better in anyway (The comment on Mitsubishi & Volkswagen is very harsh) In india you can see 1999 Lancer still on road like a last year bought car (The same year bought reliable cars are still there but not the Lancer category cars but those cars will look as old as a grandfather to lancer)
Good one... watched this video sometime back.. am the first generation car buyer... really helpful & useful... booked honda city today... thanks for the guidance Sir..
In 2008, one Anna stayed in our ground floor apartment. He worked in Quality control department of Hyundai, Chennai. He would advice us not to buy Hyundai at all 😮 Not sure how Hyundai have improved their QC, but I've steered clear of Hyundai until now.
I own a Volkswagen Vento TSI petrol AUTOMATIC, 2015 model, done 50000 km. Average mileage city-12 kmpl, highway 17 Kmpl Pleasure to drive. Super reliable. Only one service per year or 15000 km whichever is earlier..cost of one service per year Rs 9000.
Nice explanation!!! Took us to the different way of thinking while planning for a CAR, Why don't you bring very important topic which is safety!!!! If so, you cannot simply skip # VW # POLO# Such a solid and simple fellow which gives great driving experience and fun full drive!!!
Your videos are great and helpful sir. Please make more videos like this on finance. Subscribed to your channel today. 👍 Never seen such an informative and great content in finance domain.
Excellent perspective. However the comment on VW may not be applicable in Europe for example. VW Golf is the most sold car here in Europe because of its all-rounder characteristics. And quite reliable too.
Superb explanation sir, what are your thoughts with respect to indian car market and it's models. Only 2 companies are dominating the Indian car market. Maruti and Hyundai. Maruti is being seen as poor and lower middle class family brand and Hyundai is being seen as Upper middle class family brand. All other brands are not able to get fair shares.
Usually I do not write comment, But you deserve it sir. Clearly explained. How about TATA Harrier and Safari. Is it worth spending 20l on them. it will be really helpful if you reply. Thank you.

Neraya peruku Jeep Wrangler pudikkum for its off road capabilities. But I am more of a 4Runner guy. But then, ennoda offroad experience very minimal. Athunaala ennoda opinionku avlo value kodukaatheenga.
Hi Vijay Mohan Sir, my humble opinion based on experience here.Considering the indiscipline way of people driving here in India My Volkswagen saved my family when it smashed at a 90kms speed. The mistake was Hyundai’s CRETA (barged into speed lane)so called SUV’s face was defaced by my car though mine was Sedan. My humble opinion for this territory is safety considering the Jokers who have no sense of driving safety here: my Ford once hit my co-brother’s car behind bumper of Toyota fell down and there was no sign my ford has hit the other in ford.
You have nicely presented upvoting ToyoTa on reliability.I was having Toyota Camry and Ford Mondeo, both clocked 3 lacs KM. Holding both more than 12 years. Both are same maint. cost. When comes to Human Safety, Ford is ultimate between the two. !! what is the use of reliability when the person is not alive??
Sir great information 👍 thank you.. In this u have considered oy Toyota and Honda.. and rest are so and so cars.. fine.. but have u points to skoda and tata also??? Bcz both of them also having a huge space in India.. so how could we taking in account of both of these ones.. in a genuine point of view.. thanks in advance and again the way u have categorised is great!! Pls give thought about these as wel in ur comparison
Sir ,please put this same video for Indian car market ,about car brands in India ,pls you are speaking Tamil ,most of your viewers are in Tamil Nadu ,so it will be useful if you put video about cars in India Car brands in India ,which brand is for reliability ,which is for performance drivebility etc For eg -about Hyundai,Tata, mahindra, honda,Kia,maruthi in india
Maruti's spare parts are cheaper when compared to others. Best for Middle class people in India. Can buy in the range of 5 to 7 lakhs. But resale value is very very less.
Good Video. One major brand is missing - Subaru. Most of their SUVs are AWD by default so good for people who live in Snow belt. Also their cars have the highest resale value in used car market.
Hyundai: Is it the same car "Made in Chennai"? In India, new hyndai car is available at around 7Lakhs (10000$). What will be the approximate price in USA, for 3-4 years used hyundai car?
Thank you for this video! It is really insightful. Can you please provide one or two lines about your thoughts on Subaru brand and how it compares with Toyota and the like. Thanks.

Nice information, but you have not covered upon the safety aspect and the NCAP ratings. German cars are known for its safety compared to Japanese, American or Koreans. My 2 cents
What a clarity and specific advise. This is what is useful to listeners. Well done!
Great content again. My 2 cents- Mazda is almost Acura at price of Honda. Nice to drive, decent reliability and looks good.
This helped me a lot. First gen car buyer in US. Thanks a ton.
BMW advice is spot on. Model before 2012 is the best feel.
This is an all rounder video sir. You've touched every aspect. Thank you... 👏

ROAD SAFETY IS IMPORTANT, VW IS BEST
Very very informative
What about Mazda?
I feel Mazda is putting out some of the most undervalued and reliable cars out there. (They are Toyota's competitor in Japan.)
They are sure getting better every year. Still got long way to go before they reach Toyota/Honda level reliability.
Every thing is correct. But one point to add, toyota is known for only reliability where as honda has a bit of performance in its DNA.
