Interesting topic. I bought Maruti Wagon R 2015 model from Maruti True Value in 2020. so far no issues. I had some trust on True Value. still i took a mechanic with me and tested it before buying.

Always buying a new car is the best if one is planning to keep it for many years. New car is always the best, second hand is a compromise....
Good topic taken as KK dist is surrounded by unbranded used car market..ONE IMPORTANT factor to consider when buying used car is don't go for loans but buy if you have cash in hand as the Rate Of Interest is DOUBLE compared to new car loan...adding to it TYRE plays a major role in biting your pocket within an year or 2 , you will get premium cars like audi at 10 plus lacs but the long run maintenance/ insurance will again burn your pocket.. Even Branded used car dealers across INDIA at times try to push FLOODED cars (when Chennai was on flood, cars where lying on roads like garbage) WATER will kill the Car to death as everything is electronics today, to replace them better to scrap it. As I saw Q7 for 10lacs during floods. If you pull out the seat belt to confirm flooded cars...Mechanically there will be issues if more catchy after market accessories are fitted which can attract you but you will end up losing ..so YOUNG (2 to 4years) with less odometer reading used cars will have only little cost difference (pricing will be ex showroom price of a new car)..so sole decision is on individuals as financing any used cars will eat up on high interest rates..so ready cash or gold mortgage is a smart idea if you are planning used cars

I can completely relate it. எனக்கு ஒரு well built automatic car with loaded features கார் own பண்ண ஆசை. புதுக்கார் குறைந்தது 17 முதல் 22 லட்சம் ஆகும் என்ற நிலை இருந்தது. ஆனால் அவ்வளவு விலை போட்டு வாங்க மனமும் பணமும் இல்லை. அதனால் 10வருடங்கள்/1 லட்சம் கி.மீ. பழைய, 2வது ஓனர் இருக்கக் கூடிய Entry level luxury car/D segment sedan வாங்க முடிவெடுத்தேன். நிறைய தேடல் கூடவே பயத்துடன் ஆனால் calculated risk எடுத்து, என்னுடைய கார் செக் செய்யும் திறமையையும் நம்பி, அதே நேரம் சர்வீஸ் செண்டரில் ஜெனரல் செக்கப் செய்து ரிப்போர்ட் வாங்கி, வீட்டில் இருப்போரை பழைய கார் வாங்க சம்மதித்து வாங்கினேன். 6.5 லட்சத்துக்கு வாங்கி 1 வருடத்தில் சுமார் 2 லட்சம் செலவழித்து கொஞ்சம் கொஞ்சமாக மாற்ற வேண்டிய பாகங்கள் செய்ய வேண்டிய சர்வீஸ் எல்லாம் செய்து சில upgrades உம் செய்து ஓட்டிக்கொண்டு உள்ளேன். மிகவும் நல்ல அனுபவம். 18 மாதங்களில் 14000 கி.மீ. ஓட்டியுள்ளேன். முதல் சர்வீஸே கூட கார் வாங்கி 8 மாதம் கழித்துதான் செய்தேன்! பயன்படுத்திய கார்தான் வாங்கியுள்ளோம் என்பதை உணர்ந்து எதிர்பார்ப்பை வைத்துக்கொள்ளா வேண்டும் என்ற கருத்து மிகவும் சரியானதும் முக்கியமானதும் ஆகும்!

To my experience Fiesta 1.4 Dsl one lakh completed
All pulleys and belts adjusters replaced. Four tyres replaced. Steering rack hyd serviced
Brakes serviced fluid changed
Eng oil gear oil
Then began injector (continental-cannot be serviced) problems and
It took more than year to rectify with used injectors
Turbo core replaced
Adjusted waste gate to get the old engine power
