Incredible man the tightness of the ryu really works well with the loose background. It allows me to approach my own art work from different perspectives.
I have seen a lot of dragon drawings, but yours is the best!!! I especially liked the way you painted the spirals, along with the cloudiness, by using water and black paint side-by-side.
Any recommendations on where to purchase the brushes you use? I've purchased similar looking brush (Saishiki Fude Brush) but I can't achieve beautiful line control like yourself. Keep up the amazing work and thank you for sharing your beautiful painting videos with us!
Thank you so much for watching, saishiki fude is the one I use for coloring in the video, it’s is possible to outline with it but it doesn’t have enough taper to get precise controls. I use rashin fude on this video, I’ve looked up to see if you can find it over sea but I didn’t find anything😵 I buy it when I go back home to japan or I have my friends send it to me. Have you tried menso fude?
You’re amazing Yutaro!!! I love these videos. I got tattooed by you in 2018 ^-^ frog with a skull, holding a long stemmed flower! It’s healed perfectly. ANYWAYS, keep these videos coming, love it! ❤️
Really cool work! I was hoping you could answer me some questions about The Japanese methods you are using. What is the Desu? And it seemed like you mixed quite a lot of paint considering how much you used in the end. Is it possible to reuse the mixed paints later?
Yes you can reuse pigment for a while but eventually the glue in the pigment gets weaker over time so you don’t want to leave it for too long. I’m not sure which one is “desu” that you are taking about. Thank you for much for watching the video🙏🙏🙏
Thank you for watching 🙏 dosa is a classical sealer for traditional paper which made from animal collagen and potassium alum water mix 😊 it seals paper to prevent from spreading ink or pigments too much
Thank you so much man for sharing your process & honest feelings through the process !! It gives so much sense of relativity.
Thank you so much for your feed back, much appreciated 🙏😊
