- It's winter and sunshine, let's go sailing! We sail Ran II to Copenhagen and dock in a quite special place...
We are a Swedish couple who have sailed the world since 2016 while sharing the adventures here on RUclips. In 2019 our daughter was born and we bought a bigger boat to continue sailing as a family.

Remembered entering Copenhagen in a snowstorm when I was 15 or so on a sailboat . Later navy and drinking till morning in my haven. Bringing back so many memories
Vera-the-tiny-bear is adorable! All young babies suckle like there's no tomorrow. And Johann can't keep his hands off his baby daughter! He makes coffee with Vera in his arms, he eats soup with Vera in his arms, and dinner while measuring his hand against Vera's head! (Johann's hand is bigger). You are lovely, and thank you for the precious moments you have given us.

Those times with the babies cradled in an arm are so fleeting. Enjoy them and remember them. When you are in your later years those memories will be so wonderful.
Boat looks great while underway!!
My wife and I flew into Copenhagen when her mother died in Norway. Beautiful country, and the air is so sweet smelling. The Najad 440 was an excellent choice!
The drone caught video of sailing to Copenhagen really shows the added beam on the Najad 44 compared to Ran.
RAN sailing, best sailing channel on YT without a doubt.
Johan's comment about ocean freezing between Norway and Denmark really puts things in perspective on how fast global warming is happening in our lifetime.
The sign of a great father. Being able to cook, eat and look after the kids at the same time.
I really like your style. No bullshit egos no fake personas. Just regular folks that one would like to hang with. Real chill Swedes! NOW THAT IS A BEAUTIFUL BABY! Lovely drone shots - you didn’t need to worry Malin. She is much beamier than Ran I (giving you more room down below). Good to see she moves well in light winds.
So enjoyed your video, especially those parts featuring our young Superstar; Vera. I see that "art speak" is alive and well in Copenhagen, the more obnoxious an art installation is the more art speak there is to justify it. I know because I am an artist... Calling your birth "torture marina" is perfect.

Your new boat looks nice. It''s great that it will do 5 knots in 10 knots of wind. The sails have a nice cut and they look great trimmed. Thanks for getting back out on the water - you do such a nice job with your videos!! Ron
Ha HA! I just about spit out my wine when Johan 'spoke' in Danish? upon entering the inner harbor.
Not a bad pronunciation at all...Lynetteløbet. Lynette is the name of the place. Løbet literally translates “the run”, but also used for narrow bodies of water......harbour inlet=havneløbet. The otter access to central Copenhagen is “Kongeløbet” “The King’s inlet”

After blasting thru all of your videos over the last three weeks I'm finally caught up. I'm pretty sure I've found my new Saturday morning routine, hot tea while looking out the window at the snowy Rockies and watching my favorite sailing channel family. Safe travels and thank you.

RAN II is lovely underway, just gliding in light, calm air and no swell! Epic drone footage, Malin -- exceptional, even. Thanks for all the "video cuddles" with Vera, and the Copenhagen (Nyhavn) tour, too. I hope all that opera lets everyone get some sleep (even when Vera hits her high notes).
The opera music could be worse: Imagine a young singer capable of accidentally shattering glass with just her voice hitting resonant frequency. I have experienced this, watching a shot glass explode from her voice 10m away. Secure the iPad and camera lenses...

I was chuckling right along with you as you worked to put up the cockpit curtains. The explanation of the musics meaning cracked me up too. Annoying! LOL. Such a beautiful town and so much history. In the upper Midwest of the USA our oldest towns are at most 300 years and little or nothing is left of original settlements. Interesting to have places where history is counted in thousands of years.
The videography is superb, you guys get better and better with each episode. Much love from NY.

You are the greatest. My daughter was first time sailing with me (on Georgian Bay in Canada) when she was 4 weeks old! Without mom, I just had her mothers milk in a fridge. The best times of my life. Happy Valentines for the little one and Mom.
When she gets a bit older - a cookie during anchoring or docking was our daughters reward for being quiet and letting mom and dad do what they needed to do. She later circumnavigated with us from age 7 to 15.
It is SO great to see Ran II out of the slip, and you three enjoying the new home. Can't wait to see the trip back to the canary islands.

Great episode as always..Baby Vera steals the show again . RAN II looked really good with the new drone footage , some nice shots you were able to get on that short passage. Really seems like some good volume and space below when you and Malin were sitting on the sofa ...looks very roomy.
I'm pretty sure that harbor went out of business soon after the wave was installed. ;-)

Great to see you out on the water again. I just got back from a winter sail in the north part of Pugot sound across the straights of Juan de Fuca. Love seeing Johan with the baby girl. Been right where you guys docked. Love that city.

Nice to see you all sailing on your new boat. I can see all are happy, which is wonderful. Not the case on all boats unfortunately. As I sail from anchorage to anchorage, I meet many people who have a varying degree of happiness. So many solo sailors who live like hermits or worse, abuse alcohol to the extreme.
When there is a beautiful spot to tie up and nobody is there, it's no coincidence..Johan, what about the large bubble in your compass? I'm sure it's on the list...I really enjoy your story and the way you share it...

This is a beautiful video, especially the drone shots. I really like that color (I call it cranberry) on your boat. I really wish I could help support you because I really like your videos, but Social Security doesn't go very far. Copenhagen looks beautiful with all the colors on the old storefronts. Thank you for allowing me to see that part of the world-my traveling days are over.
