This video is explaining how to make CarPlay work on Harley Davidson models equipped with boom GTS 2019-2022 model year for riders That do not use a headset, have a headset option on their motorcycle, Or if they do not want to use the headset ever this is a trick.
I have not had the option to try on a 2019 to current model year CVO hopefully I can in the future but until then this works on street glide standards, street glide specials,
Road glide standards, road glide special’s,
Ultra limited, road glide limited.
Must have boom GTS 2019 and up radio installed.
This means if you have a 2014 to 2018 and have installed the boom GTS system this will also work for you aswell that video will come at a later day.
New development I have found.
Upon looking at schematics CVO bikes looks like you need to jump pin 8 and pin 10 together.
Please make sure to enable CarPlay in your Apple device aswell.

Interesting. I bought the Amazon plug with the jumper and installed it yesterday on my ‘21 ROad Glide Limited and it didn’t work. I’m guessing maybe the radio software needs updated. I’ll try,the jumper on the passenger connector tomorrow and see what happens.
Is there a way to jump it off my wired headset om my 2015 CVO street glide with the new GTS radio installed? Don't want to lose mike capability.
My 22 RGS won't work with the jump I got from amazon and my dealer is to dumb to help... Please let me know what I can do to make mine work.. I NEEEED CarPlay! Thanks in advance brother !

I have a 2014 street glide special and have got my hands on a GTS radio, what do I need to do to enable CarPlay? It was off a 2021 RG updated to the latest software. Does my 14 have that WHIM plug on it that I just have to jump?

only if you have the new GTS system or Soundstream reserve Headunit
IE: with soundstream you do not need the jumper wire
On a CVO model what functionality do you loose by disconnecting the WHIM ?
You will loose the option to use the Bluetooth headset.

I disconnected my whim yesterday- to find that the white plug under my 22 CVO was a female plug instead of a male plug. Although it was a female plug, I tried to jump pin 2 & 3 and car play did not work. Any suggestions?

Like I said I’m not a pro at this I think I’ve just gotten lucky a lot.
I have a 17 Streetglide special how can I get it to work
The 2014-2018 radio the boom model is not compatible with CarPlay or Android Auto.
You will need to upgrade to the 2019 to current GTS Model though HD or seek aftermarket.
This is the only aftermarket I have seen that is working great!

Any chance this works on 2018 with boom gts upgrade stereo ?
Yes just have to jump the right pins under the fairing.

We haven’t had one come in like that.

22 RG Limited, no WHIM. Jumper device didn’t work. I got the one off Amazon with the red wire. 🤷🏽♂️ Suggestions?

did you guys get this figured out...? I am having the same problem, 22' RGS and it won't work, my dealer is not tech savvy enough to even have a clue.. PLEASE HELP, this is driving me nuts!
