Honestly I would not mind powershift being the ranked mode bc it still holds that "The Finals" feeling, with the destruction and craziness and the "ooooh so close" feeling I want, it's a much better pick than terminal attack

I'd at least like to see Powershift have its own variant of World Tour. I like cash out and terminal attack too, but having one central focus for an objective makes it pretty intense!

Mayeb it is becouse The Finals have never been in this bad state, I'll take nuke meta over what ever this is... People come out of the game frustrated, and that reflects on the feedback the devs get.
Personally I'm taking a break, until they fix this dumpster fire, or if they will, and everybody, those few I knew playing the game, none of them are playing it right now. None of us finds it fun anymore... Hopefully they get the ship on right track, or we might not even see Season 4...

Tweak cashout tournaments a bit to prevent 3 teaming and it’s good.

@midnightmoron1906 brother the main content creators for the game talk about how the game is dying every other week. The discord is full of negativity. The devil got death threats because they removed a non competitive gamemode cashout (third party heaven) from the comp rotation, and the community acted like they were so shocked and appaled and wouldn't play the game anymore because of the decision. So yes the community is quite negative, idk what you're talking about.
Also just because "most games" have communities like that it doesn't mean we should follow suit
@@Zizou19989Yes, the community became negative because of the ranked change.. the community was fine before they made TA the main ranked mode and also "third party heaven" is a competitive gamemode. There is a ton of strategy to cashout even if it doesn't seem like it. The fact you can third party in cashout doesn't make it non-competitive. Battle royales have constant third parties and are deemed competitive.

Squad rush In Bad Company 2 is one of my all time favorite game modes. I would love to see a 3V3 terminal rush.

Be careful what you wish for, I am also a power shift enjoyer, however I do not want that ranked! It would be a sweat fest with grenade launchers, aps, and shields for the meta. Would not be enjoyable
cashout is the best mode
its summer & they’re European, they take hella time off, its different than how it works in the US. thats probably why they’re not as active on the disc

Yes this was a misread on my part. I included the tournament part in the editing/post. Since the sheet got updated while I was making the video I did the audio portion for it last minute. And the portion of the audio got silenced that wasn’t supposed to “i believe”, but I meant to say “one of” the very first tournaments. It was an accident as well as a misread of the money distribution.
I’ll be sure to do better there in the future with that stuff. It was an honest mistake, because ya I’ve even covered the other one prior. Although I think that one might have been cancelled. But there have been others!

I'm not surprised they went silent. They spent an awful lot of money on marketing and it didn't helped at all. When I said that the marketing won't help, I got a lot of hate. And there was twitch rivals, which mainly showed the problems of the game instead of showing the fun. Future doesn't look good and I'm honestly really sad, it's my favorite fps game since apex released.

Winch still breaks your game if you get hit by it. It’s common enough to where my friends and I place bets on whether or not it’ll happen when we get winched. Why is no one talking about this?

It's not exactly surprising when your community is bitching 80 and 90% of the time the developers don't really want to talk.
the community is negative because the devs don't play the game, and the community thinks they are the devs because they actually play the game, so with that the community has insight to information about the game that the devs don't have because they don't play the game. That's why the community feels Obligated to point out things to the devs all the time
for instance I was in the Discord for the finals and a player pointed out a simple bug with the mechanics of the guns and the devs had no idea about it, stuff like that, incompetence makes the community toxic.
they listen to the community and the data more than actual experience in the game that's why the updates feel out of touch most of the time

If they fix cashout to make it more competitively viable I'd agree. Right now as it is it just doesn't work as a competitive game mode. Third partying causes good players to lose. It's a cheap way of winning and you don't get enough resources to win against an equally good team third partying.
Powershift is the only gamemode that doesn't feel like total shit to play.

The game’s been doing fine ever since release. Acting like the devs are trying to kill it is ridiculous. People like you kick and scream at any change you don’t like instead of being constructive with proper feedback. If you watched the video (doubt it tbh), you would’ve seen that one of Oscar’s jobs as a CM is to filter useful feedback back to the devs and disregard anything else. Throwing tantrums and exclaiming that the devs are killing the game fall into “anything else”.
Your part of the problem. A useless community with only negative destructive feedback. Queueing into matches doesn't take long, sure it's got quite a bit of controversy right now but do you think giving horrible feedback to the devs and blaming it on them is gonna help in the slightest? On top of that they have an agenda to fill for Nexon, a needy player base that hates change, and newcomers. The game overall is pretty balanced. The only big issue on loadout balances is the biased players that become toxic with every minor change to a weapon. Lights complain about being killed off by heavies when it should happen if they're trying to fight a heavy on their own or face to face. It always happens if there is a high risk high reward character in a game. Both insanely good and horrendous players want to play them because it's satisfying to win with them. The bad players want buffs because they suck, the good players want buffs because it makes winning all the easier.
One word :- The finals is good game .idk why people hate this🥴🥴
Season 3 is a dumpster fire so far, no wonder the devs have been pretty much dead silent, lol.
Dumpster fire? The only con is ranked, and thats for people who “main” ranked and nothing else.
Otherwise the map is fun, WT is fun, the BP is solid, and the music is great. You can judge the game however you want but personally I think it’s fair to look at the whole picture.

@@julio1148 Just check the socials lol, I'm not gonna write everything here, pretty much everything is wrong with S3. Just to write couple thinsg down for you; New map is too cluttered, specially after destruction becomes annoying to move in, and has random frame rate issues, Spear has hit registration issues and can send stuff to the orbit, Bow has hit registration issues, Winch = instadeath, Dual blades deflection works at times, not when in different elevation, LH1 is still broken (game was literally 80% LH1 Lights before last patch, and Sonars, which were almost 4 size than before without visual indication of it), TK is still too strong, Sniper rifle is still in PS (there was a reason why everybody loved Bunny Bash), Light meta is the most annoying thing in this game so far, TA is (according to my friends) worse than as event, slow as hell, most of it is just down time, Cashout (WT now) does not have same matchmaking as before, so top tiers and casuals play with each other in matches, since there is NO casual play of it, just this weird "it's ranked I promise", CL 40 was nerfed for TA (so they already started to balance the game for it), pretty much unusable now, and don't even get me started playinf as the Medium in detail in current "meta", with the aps, turret, and 93r nerfs, I guess they still have 1887... I'm just starting here, everything is wrong, except the music (which imo is good, but not as good as S1 and S2) and art department, also text chat (which should had been there since S1). We just started Season 3, and the numbers are still low after huge Twitch and marketing push (never seen them as low as first week of S3, lol, since these bafoons buffed Sonars TK and LH1 at the same time, which none of them needed buff, while nerfing M and H game was missery to play), it should tell a lot. Even I, a almost daily player (took a week off at end of Season 1), am now sitting this one out, waiting to see if the train wreck can be salvaged. Also before "Skill issue lol lol", I can deal with the meta, but it ain't fun, just annoying to play. With Light spam every mode might as well be deathmatch, but that ain't The Finals. But don't mind me, if you are having fun, just go and play, but the game is currently having a lot of issues/identity issues the devs need to fix. IT has never been this buggy, or laggy, and balancing clearly the devs have no idea what they are doing, feels like they are panicking atm, but we will see, there will be new patch in couple days.

I personally have not had a bad time this season, yes I experience those issues, but I guess I don’t see them any differently as the S2 and S1 issues. Balancing changes are always addressed within the week, back in S2 launch I and many other people also experienced issues with Sys$Horizon that were dealt with by mid season, and tougher bugs are never ignored. If they haven’t solved something they’re working towards tonsolving it.
I guess what I don’t understand is the reaction as if Embark is not a proactive studio that has done more postive than negative each update (imo)

Clearly you didn’t actually read the post. Yes, the mode had the word terminal in it, but the mode they projected was a take on battlefield’s rush gamemode, which is anything BUT S&D and is a lot more fun.
TLDR because clearly your reading comprehension is lacking: it’s not an attempt to remake terminal attack.
