Now I know people hate on console but they really should at kbm support for console and just enable "input based matchmaking". That way you don't have to go up against aim assist, if you don't want to.
That should be in the FPS for years
Aim assist is so much less toxic than MnK

The first barrier a console player needs to overcome is the sensitivity settings (the whole controller settings overall). You need to tweak so much for you really began to feel it. For me, it was two full seasons to learn, adapt and configure. I miss the old days of M&K support on console, good times.

I played on mouse and keyboard my whole life on a laptop, i have quite the skill and then I got a ps5, got kind of good with the gyro controls but still i wish I could switch to keyboard and mouse on consoles instead of being limited to just the controller

Personally, i only play controller with the R357. I can't hit shit to save my life but honestly even when i have matches where i go 3 and 37. Those 3 kills felt so good to get.
As a casual player, I switched to controller just because it is easy to lie down on couch and play. With mouse I have to sit straight. Also, when I hold the controller, I feel like I am actually in play mode while I am working 9-5 with mouse and keyboard. So I try to stay away from mouse and keyboard when I am not working :D
That’s another reason to use it 👍 Much more relaxed
Do you play controller with your middle finger or index finger on triggers?
Middle on trigger, index on Y, X and right bumper. 2 paddles on the back to jump and crouch
If u use mesh as heavy. Ur movement is very limited on controller. MnK u can turn way faster if an enemy is shooting u in the back.

Interesting video. I wonder if the things you brought up is why I gravitate towards the weapons I do as a KbM player. It's surprising that you say movement is better on KbM because I usually hear the opposite from controller players, especially when it comes to turn speed. Maybe I am misunderstanding something.
I reckon u misunderstood the movement comment I made. I was referring that analog movement is much better (controller) but keyboard has a better ability to snap to target and be more precise at close ranges.

Really? I think movement is really hard on controller, maybe Im not used to it, I just started to use controller, I guess I have to use back buttons for jump and crouch, I really dont want to claw..
Absolutely controller movement is so strong when you get it down. The diagonal strafing is completely unique👌
Your comparing an input your comfortable vs one your not and MnK still felt better on a lot of gun. MnK has been and always has advantage over controller if they don’t balance the recoil patterns separately.
I’m comfortable on both. Just have more experience on one.

Not saying you should stop but just beware that if you have crossplay on, then MNK players will have a huge advantage with that gun

Too bad that I can no longer find matches with cross play disabled, even during peak times I have to wait too long. Western Europe on Xbox Series X.
Overall what weapons do you think are best on controller?
M11, FCAR, XP, AKM, Famas, All heavy weapons are ok, All melee weapons are equal for both controller and keyboard. That’s it, anything else is gonna take much more effort.

They can be good but much harder to use. If you have good aim and movement then the double barrel is great. The model is always difficult to use but very strong. The heavy shotguns aren’t anything special.

In my opinion, there should be non-crossplay matches without aim assist because there is too much light in this game with a cloak and L1H1. The main issue with L1H1 is the recoil, and with aim assist, this problem just disappears
If you need aim assist to even the playing field with mouse, then there is a clear winner. Get rid of aim assist and let the controller players get effed

is it just me but when you lag on controller your controller drifts insanely without you touching any controls???? it fucks me over so much in gameplays. im forced to play mnk most of the time. even tho i main controller in every other game. and its only doing that when i play the finals. in any other game theres no extreme movement and plus my controller is not broken or anything its fine. so idk. just wondering if any one has any idea why its like this. (i do not have stick drift) i play a slow sens and it moves crazily in different directions randomnly.
That would be look acceleration in the settings. You need to disable it.

Isn’t that just a way to 180 fast? Not on Xbox controllers either.
@@ELHOMO21 No, Gyro is mostly for aiming on par with mouse accuracy, but with the benefit of stick for movement and large aiming(with or without flick stick) and triggers and buttons. It truly is the best of both worlds. You should try learning it. Some people who are really good with sticks use it just for fine aiming but others use it for all.
Xbox is super behind the curve. There are attachments for Xbox controllers but I’ve also heard the next gen controller will have it. I play on PC with a Dualsense/Kaleid tho.
