Store bought, pre- cooked tortillas and you think it's better than homemade or even buying raw tortillas that cook in 2 minutes. No. This is by no means better by any stretch of the imagination than traditional. It may be alright. It may be good. He called these the best. Laughable. And if you think they are then you obviously haven't had enchiladas before. This isn't a recipe he passes down with pride in a little book. It's just for RUclips.

I don’t have hours to make homemade rotisserie chicken on a weeknight. These recipes are realistic and don’t compromise on taste, just what I need. Thank you Sam!

Made this tonight and it was AMAZING! Only thing I changed was I put cheese in the enchiladas also. Also wanted to suggest telling the oven temp I couldn’t find it anywhere I did 400 degrees and it was perfect in 30 mins! Kudos man this was the first video I watched! I will watch more!

Just made this for me and my girlfriend. This was FANTASTIC. Only changes I made was I used corn tortillas and I also put some monterey Jack inside the enchiladas. To soften the corn tortillas I had to microwave them for about 20 seconds. Keep on doing God’s work, Sam. Cheers.
We had some friends over that were moving out of town last weekend. I made two pans and there was nothing left afterward. The sauce that is made in the pan from the cream and cheese, combined with the chorizo sauce was unreal. I really think dipping the tortillas in chicken stock added another favor profile that I’ve never had before, which was awesome. I hope you made it, what did you think?
I've heard that the problem with pre-grated cheese is the additives make it less melty, but that definitely isn't an issue in this case as can be seen from the end result.

My recently passed sister-in-law asked me to make these for her to enjoy-even after some brutal chemo!!! She said these were THEE BEST chicken enchiladas she'd EVER had. So thank you, Sam!

I can’t get enough of this recipe. If you’re thinking of trying it, stop thinking and do it. It is seriously one of the best dishes I’ve ever eaten. It slaps. Definitely a favorite recipe. I add to the filling a little more the make them fatter. I also add cheese to the filling. I use the large tortillas add fold the ends over more like a burrito.

These are the best chicken enchiladas I have ever made or tasted. I like creamy chicken enchiladas and I have tried using sour cream, béchamel sauces, cheese sauces and cream soup sauces. Nothing compares to just using straight whipping cream. The green salsa, green chilis and chipotle matched up with the chicken filling perfectly. I home run for my palate.
Been making this for a few years now and absolutely love. Just tried using leftover smoked chicken and rib meat. You have to try it, it was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!. To let the chorizo sauce last further I add more whipping cream and then add Parmesan cheese to thicken the sauce up. Got to try this one!!!!!!

Genius!!❤ So hes mainly melting and bubbling the cheese sauce. 350 for 25 to 30 minutes... until bubbly and melty and slightly golden. My mouth is watering. My husband and I just came across your videos about two months ago and we decided to make this chicken enchiladas tonight. And I have to say that was the best thing we've ever made. We left off the chorizo only because we don't care for it. We decided to grill the chicken and put jalapenos on top. That was the best thing we've ever made. We love watching your videos.
Watched this last night and nearly spit my mouthful of water out when Sam commented on his kidney stone. I love how he is not censored, or afraid to comment openly. Now these enchiladas are extremely unhealthy but I think once in a while a good one to try and just indulge. Due to the heavy cream not sure if they would freeze well. When I lived in San Diego I would go to Bisher's in Santee to get great homemade chorizo in bulk by the lb. I finally found a meat market here in Austin that has something similar and equally delicious. Sam, keep up being real. Love it!
I literally make these twice a month but I zhuzh them up a bit by putting some of the cheese in the enchilada mix with some diced jalapeños or serrano peppers...fantastic recipe!

Made it and loved it! My husband doesn’t like spicy food but he loved it. I consider it mild spice he said it was spicy. I also used corn tortillas instead of flour, I’m always trying to reduce my carb count. Although the corn tortilla will break once you roll it don’t worry about it once you sprinkle cheese on top you won’t be able tell. The chorizo crème and avocado made it perfect.
Just has these for dinner, literally the best damn enchiladas I have ever had. My husband is a chef and he was thoroughly impressed, will have these again very soon!

Sam is the type of guy to put raisins in a potato salad and then say ‘who cares? its delicious!’
I soak raisins until soft and put them in chicken salad. Along with a bunch of other stuff. LOL

Agreed. I actually use creme cheese mixed with the chicken. Never tried the chorizo sauce before so I am excited to see what thats like.

These are the best chicken enchiladas I have ever made or tasted. I like creamy chicken enchiladas and I have tried using sour cream, béchamel sauces, cheese sauces and cream soup sauces. Nothing compares to just using straight whipping cream. The green salsa, green chilis and chipotle matched up with the chicken filling perfectly. I home run for my palate.
Been making this for a few years now and absolutely love. Just tried using leftover smoked chicken and rib meat. You have to try it, it was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!. To let the chorizo sauce last further I add more whipping cream and then add Parmesan cheese to thicken the sauce up. Got to try this one!!!!!!

Making these right now for a family get together for the Canelo fight tonight. I made these over a year ago and I remember them being the best enchiladas I’ve ever had! Looking forward to eating them tonight.

He has another video of the same enchiladas but not with the new chorizo topping. He bakes them at 350. The chicken is already cooked since he uses the pre roasted store bought! Genius!!❤ So hes mainly melting and bubbling the cheese sauce. 350 for 25 to 30 minutes... until bubbly and melty and slightly golden. My mouth is watering. I'm gonna make this tomorrow for Easter!🎉😊❤

Just made these today and, as a life-long Texan that's had an enchilada or two, may I just say that these are, hands-down, the absolute BEST enchiladas I've ever had.
My husband and I just came across your videos about two months ago and we decided to make this chicken enchiladas tonight. And I have to say that was the best thing we've ever made. We left off the chorizo only because we don't care for it. We decided to grill the chicken and put jalapenos on top. That was the best thing we've ever made. We love watching your videos.

Watched this last night and nearly spit my mouthful of water out when Sam commented on his kidney stone. I love how he is not censored, or afraid to comment openly. Now these enchiladas are extremely unhealthy but I think once in a while a good one to try and just indulge. Due to the heavy cream not sure if they would freeze well. When I lived in San Diego I would go to Bisher's in Santee to get great homemade chorizo in bulk by the lb. I finally found a meat market here in Austin that has something similar and equally delicious. Sam, keep up being real. Love it!

I literally make these twice a month but I zhuzh them up a bit by putting some of the cheese in the enchilada mix with some diced jalapeños or serrano peppers...fantastic recipe!

Baby I was chastised at work for making enchiladas using flour tortilla's for a potluck.
Made it and loved it! My husband doesn’t like spicy food but he loved it. I consider it mild spice he said it was spicy. I also used corn tortillas instead of flour, I’m always trying to reduce my carb count. Although the corn tortilla will break once you roll it don’t worry about it once you sprinkle cheese on top you won’t be able tell. The chorizo crème and avocado made it perfect.
Just has these for dinner, literally the best damn enchiladas I have ever had. My husband is a chef and he was thoroughly impressed, will have these again very soon!

I came looking for some chicken recipes, something different, since we harvested so many more chickens this year than usual. Got distracted and watched a half dozen or more other recipes. So easy to go down the rabbit hole with Sam.
