Cool guys looked like fun. Never seen crappie caught in a river, mostly in deep waters. Im in NH and usually catching them in 30' of water in the lake. Nice work!
Hey, I’m a saltwater Charter Capt. In S La I’ve only had time to crappie fish in spawn. I just moved and started fishing a new river with strong current and fish Thai winter. I noticed that water you all are fishing is moving pretty good. I have a few questions bout fishing in strong current. I can’t seem to find many slack water spots. Do you all just drift your jigs past the trees? Do they generally set up behind the trees? Do you ever catch them directly in the current? Thanks in advance, Capt.Vic
Great show! As far as genetics though. What tells you the genetics are any different from a small young crappie? What if the 15 incher is just old? Thanks!
Looks like you had another great day of fishing Larry.
It's always a great day when I get to fish with my son
@@LarrySmithOutdoors I know what you mean I love to fish with my daughter and grandson.
