Awesome job as always Odd. Loving these unsolved easter eggs. Thanks again for asking me to be involved with the show, it's been great working with you guys!
Hey Slippy, big fan of your work. There's this game that you should look into called Dead Man's Hand on the XBOX. In the last 3 levels of the game there's a hidden purple rune. And in the stage with a church, there is a purple glowing monolith that's unreachable. Oh! And when you get a rune it says "Odin would be proud" But the setting is western. Theres not a lot of info on this but its killing me that no one has found anything more about it. If you can look into it you got yourself a spicy egg that no one has fully found yet.

Todd Howard probably knows exactly how many terminals exist in the game. Saying "It's in a terminal somewhere..." is so cruel, haha. Did anyone have a peek _inside_ the terminal models?
The animated stars that stop moving when you look away could just be the game engine 'culling' textures for performance reasons. Most games will freeze textures, animations, hide geometry, etc when you're not looking at them to conserve memory for the things you are actually looking at. Especially on older console games where every little bit is needed.
Thhis is absolutely spot on. This method is used in a lot of Playstation 2 games like the Jak series, Ratchet and Clank series, Sly Cooper series & Simpson's Hit & Run. However it's also worth mention that these games have huge open designs and I'm not sure if this is the case with Futurama as I've unfortunately not played the game myself.
Did you guys see that the Futurama egg was found? Get Hammer, Open Leela's Locker, Go to Boiler Room and collect the stuff on the Desk and leave, Open the Drawer in the labby area, Break the Extinguisher Glass but do not collect Extinguisher, Go up the Elevator, collect $7 and finally, Smash the TV with Hammer... and I guess that unlocks the wall? *I did not find this nor am I taking credit.*

Yoko Taro games are usually barely functional, it's a miracle they got Platinum to make Automata. I don't think it's something they can just remove, it's probably a glitch or something as opposed to like an obscene picture or whatever
This explains how to reach the hidden easter-egg, in the "Planet Express" level, in the video-game "Futurama" (2003). Steps There's some steps you must do, and also some things you must avoid - be careful, or you'll have to start a new game to try it again. After picking up the hammer, do the following: Enter boiler room. Note: To avoid any side-effects, only break "LEELA" locker to get this. Destroy the fire extinguisher window. Note: Be careful to not pick up the fire extinguisher itself. Warning: Easter-egg unavailable if lab drawer is already opened. Open the drawer in the lab. Warning: Easter-egg unavailable if the fire extinguisher had already been picked up. Make sure you have exactly 7 cash collectibles. Destroy the TV in the room upstairs. Warning: Easter-egg unavailable if not exactly 7 cash collectibles had been collected yet. Effect: You should hear a sound now. Go back to the short hallway where you came from. Effect: One second later, the wall of that hallway should open, to reveal the easter-egg. You can hit the egg as often as you like. Effect: The egg will wiggle when you hit it.

@@emailname8624 yep it is, SIOHBOY (Halo 2 In-game credits) Sid, I'm Only Here Because Of You, The S is in the credits but not ingame so he probably forgot about Sid until he was making the credits :D Bungie were famous for adding little acronyms and Initialisms into their games, (before Activision ruined them) most famous of which is from Halo IWHBYD - I would of been your daddy (but the dog beat me over the fence), not only the first words of the first chapter, in the first level, of the first game but then used multiple times throughout the games life as skulls, character quotes etc. People forget that these are the guys that were basically the first in the world to make an ass pic global.
The FO4 one has a couple of possibilities -The easter egg requires a sequence of triggers (possibly options from other terminals) to trigger the final easter egg (least likely, as datamining would have turned up something) -The terminal that had the easter egg was removed during development and Todd is unaware of this The second one seems more likely.
You know, I mention this everytime, but the secret boat level in Blood Omen fits perfectly with every video you make. Supposevly it's activated through a series of events or hidden switches.

I found the Chris Houlihan room in A Link to the Past when I was 6 or 7. Thought it was kind of weird at the time (considering I didn't know who Chris Houlihan was), but I didn't think much of it. Not the greatest of easter eggs, but still pretty interesting.

that Mario counting game ran at 256x224. it is only a few hundred pixels like you were saying, but it's 57,344 individual pixels to click on lol. might be easier to try and hack it.
Futurama Easter Egg Solved. Here is how. 1 - Get the Hammer. 2 - Open Leela's locker with the Hammer and go to the boiler room. 3 - Destroy the glass of the fire extinguisher but do not pick it up. 4- Open the Drawer 5 - Collect 7 bundle of bills and break the TV If you have done the steps correctly, you will hear a jingle and the Easter egg is free to see.
Some more quick info I was able to determine in Mario's Early Years: The heads that are supposed to pop out aren't hidden behind any of the SNES's four graphic layers meaning like most objects in the room, the trigger pixel has to be hit for said heads to materialize. Additionally, due to the SNES's resolution being 256x224 and taking into account that the last few columns of pixels on the right can't be reached by the in game cursor's "click point" (the upmost red part of its sprite) as well as various areas in the room that are the normal, expected triggers, there's a bit less than 57344 spots where the head trigger could be located. Know this is a lot, however with various tools I have available to me I may be able to start a brute force search for the egg and on original hardware too (well, the Super NT is close enough to original hardware :P).
I'm pretty sure it's on the Elevator ride down, not specifically before the elevator, but it's on the wall as you ride past. I found it once with my friend Jimmy and I was in the middle of saying that exact phrase when I saw it, only reason I remember it. Investigate the elevator on Regret. 8:34 it's there, I know it's there.
I've actually gotten to that easter egg in the Futurama game. I can't remember how, but I definitely remember finding it when I first played the game. If I'm remembering correctly, it didn't do anything. I found it by accident and was confused as to why it was there.
I'm from Michigan so I grew up drinking Faygo. Still my favorite brand today. So every time it gets mentioned and people go "Oh, that Juggalo pop?" I die a little inside.
The Halo SIOHBOY was presented on Bungee under used acronyms and it stated an unconfirmed meaning as, “SIOHBOY (Halo 2 In-game credits) Sid, I'm Only Here Because Of You (Unconfirmed)”.
In reference to who Sid was I found further information that this was a previous Easter egg where it was stated, “Sid is an Easter egg on the Halo 2 map Coagulation that is a hidden message much like the "Why Am I Here" message in the Beaver Creek level of Halo 2. Messages like these can be found in many maps, such as Sanctuary. The message in Sanctuary is behind the water. Not "Sid" with the initials CMP and the number '10' in tally marks”.
And Not Sid was confirmed to be originally a multiplayer map designer at Bungee yet the exact identity was not confirmed, the initials CMP were left next to the Easter egg and CJ is the name next to the SIOHBOY leaving the first C as the only connecting figure
Hey everyone, once in a blue moon I bring up the famous big foot mystery of gta San Andreas because to this day I swear I saw him and it scared the shit out of me, this was when I was a bit younger lol, this was on the ps2 version of the game, so no mods. To explain how I found him is difficult, because it was an accident. But I I do remember what I did in the events leading up to seeing him. I had gotten myself a two star wanted level and was using the cheat to allow free aim while driving. At the bottom of mt chilliad there is a scrap yard or some sort of facility right next to a bridge. Escaping the cops I drove into the water off a ledge. This is where things got weird for me, my wanted level seemed to fade pretty fast, and swimming to shore I swear on my life there big foot was doing an SOS wave at me before running back up to the bridge and peering over it searching for something (I assumed me) in the water. Anyway after that I practically shit my pants and just turned off the ps2. (I had never seen an npc that big nor the detailed animations Bigfoot was doing) it was all unbelievable. Just as this probably sounds to you. But to anyone interested, I am sure Bigfoot is somewhere in the San Andreas woods, atleast in the ps2 version I believe.

I found an Easter egg in the awesome video game “tak the power of juju” when I was a kid. I looked everywhere if anyone else found it, but couldn’t find anything. It was set in an island map, and you had to out swim some deadly jellyfish that keep you from leaving the map, and I discovered a cave on the side and of the island. And there was a little alter with a picture of a creepy looking ape creature. It was weird
I remember a glitch in borderlands 2, it’s in the dust , you have to use the light runner vehicle , youd wait for the caravan to spawn , Kill the patrols that are guarding him , raid , then wait until the caravan drives off , next you have to follow it to where the caravan exits ther map , as soon as the doors open and it starts to enter the exit of the map you ram into it with boost and if you get it right time it launches you to a random location on the map! Like so odd can see please #outofbounds
Here's a fun one! Anyone know the game "True Crime: NYC."? On the last subway mission, you are able to get yourself off the train and your character can either free room outside the map or ypur character will still move as if he were still on the train. This was a fun thing to do in the game😅. Theres a lot more you can do throught the game itself, but this one was by far the craziest one! If anyone wants to try it, just ask me how to do it😁
So, update on the Mario Numbers easter egg: I just datamined the game's sound files and found a few different ones saying "hello" in different pitches, including one sound file that combined all of them. I don't know if that's a new finding, but I think that definitely helps the validity of the easter egg's existence.

This explains how to reach the hidden easter-egg, in the "Planet Express" level, in the video-game "Futurama" (2003).
Steps
There's some steps you must do, and also some things you must avoid - be careful, or you'll have to start a new game to try it again.
After picking up the hammer, do the following:
Enter boiler room.
This feels like 2004 when you couldn't look up videos to confirm something and all you had were rumors about stuff like this. Someone want to test this?

The FO4 one has a couple of possibilities
-The easter egg requires a sequence of triggers (possibly options from other terminals) to trigger the final easter egg (least likely, as datamining would have turned up something)
-The terminal that had the easter egg was removed during development and Todd is unaware of this
The second one seems more likely.

Futurama Easter Egg Solved. Here is how.
1 - Get the Hammer.
2 - Open Leela's locker with the Hammer and go to the boiler room.
3 - Destroy the glass of the fire extinguisher but do not pick it up.
4- Open the Drawer
5 - Collect 7 bundle of bills and break the TV
If you have done the steps correctly, you will hear a jingle and the Easter egg is free to see.
Thx
It was said in a presentation that there was a good game somewhere in Fallout76, people are still searching.
SHOTS HAVE BEEN FIRED
The disk version of the sci fi game "project freedom" has the cool easter egg of containing a zeus.trojan.
Could have been a fake disk though
Some more quick info I was able to determine in Mario's Early Years:
The heads that are supposed to pop out aren't hidden behind any of the SNES's four graphic layers meaning like most objects in the room, the trigger pixel has to be hit for said heads to materialize. Know this is a lot, however with various tools I have available to me I may be able to start a brute force search for the egg and on original hardware too (well, the Super NT is close enough to original hardware :P).
i feel like iohboy might just be a signature of some kind, like a "i was here" sort of thing

I've been trying to find why Pete Holmes has a career. There's an easter egg that may never be discovered
And Not Sid was confirmed to be originally a multiplayer map designer at Bungee yet the exact identity was not confirmed, the initials CMP were left next to the Easter egg and CJ is the name next to the SIOHBOY leaving the first C as the only connecting figure
dude this video had me hooked, fantastic job. wish there were more people doing great work like this.

I remember a glitch in borderlands 2, it’s in the dust , you have to use the light runner vehicle , youd wait for the caravan to spawn ,
Kill the patrols that are guarding him , raid , then wait until the caravan drives off , next you have to follow it to where the caravan exits ther map , as soon as the doors open and it starts to enter the exit of the map you ram into it with boost and if you get it right time it launches you to a random location on the map! Like so odd can see please #outofbounds
7:34 - knowing this is in Halo's game code makes me laugh.
If anyone wants to try it, just ask me how to do it😁
That sounds fun. I'd like to try that. ^_^

So, update on the Mario Numbers easter egg: I just datamined the game's sound files and found a few different ones saying "hello" in different pitches, including one sound file that combined all of them. I don't know if that's a new finding, but I think that definitely helps the validity of the easter egg's existence.
