The problem with the three pack blisters is they move around.

True! But they look great when you find one not all jumbled around.
I've never had problems giving it a little bit of a shake and they move back into their original positions
I know im late but I couldnt agree with you less on the Pikachu V boxes...all of the other v boxes I totally agree, but the new version of the Pikachu V box has 2 brilliant stars packs and 2 Evo Skies packs in it along with a pikachu promo all for only $20. Oh and if you find the older version with fusion strike it is on clearance in most walmarts for $15. Evo Skies and Brilliant stars will be the 2 most highly coveted Sw&Sh sets in the future making this a cant miss product!
the hits ive gotten and seen from booster bundles, i feel like they'll do well long term sealed. Most likely see them with every new set now!

Yeah pretty bold to say that the booster bundles won't go anywhere. Years down the line when people wanna open some older packs but don't have the money to buy an entire booster box or etb the booster bundles will be a great option
I started collecting in March and have been following this trend pretty closely. I was actually starting to think about opening my Pikachu V box for the reasons mentioned. I hadn't thought about blisters but now that you mention it I had noticed those do seem to rise pretty well. What do you think about tins and chests?
Chests are a decent item. Tins are a dime a dozen, I got them in with the V boxes

The biggest pokemon investing question I have is, what happens if no one cares in 10-20 years?
All investing has risk. What if no one is interested in bitcoin, or retail companies fold, or a government gets overthrown 🤷♂️

As a new collector I find your videos very informative. When ever I see discount boxes sealed in my funko group I tend to grab them and put them away in storage. Will sell them 5 to 10 years from now.

I disagree about the booster bundles. Id take them over the single blisters with the extra card. Id prefer that added seal on top of 6 boosters opposed to an extra seal on 1 booster a coin with some pretty worthless holo normally.
Sometimes the Holo is great. Like the Rayquaza from Rebel Clash blisters. And eeveelutions on other sets as well

I would disagree with the Dragons boxes at Target. Sure they look cool and they aren’t worth the price. I just don’t see people in the future knowing and wanting them with the same dilemmas we see with it now. Maybe some people to have it sealed but I doubt it’ll have nice growth. Just an opinion. That Eevee box is horrible too and the pack selection is horrible too. The v cards are not a nice display either.
I completely get it with that box. I think that also may the reason not many people keep it sealed at the end of the day too
You definitely can't order the arecus box anymore. At least at my local GameStop that's what they said.

Pro tip is to check out vintage deals flying on the low on ebay. I picked up a buncha unweighed boosters of unseen forces and team magma for 100$ each, and 3 out of 5 were heavy. Also got a hidden legends blister for 140. The heavy unseen forces are probley worth 500 or more and i got them for 100$. Just gotta be thrifty.

I’ve really been bulking up on Celebrations, Shining Fates, and XY/ Sun & Moon booster packs/collection boxes.
There’s a lot of good deals right now for ultra modern. GameStop also has the Shining Fates premium collections for 40$ which is a super good price and imo a really good long term hold. I snagged a few.
Special sets are always good to load up on

They're $15 over msrp so that's a good hint. If you can find it at Walmart I would recommend. People love this set. A lot of the sealed product is still relatively cheap so if you're thinking of buying it's not a bad time.

$32 CDN for the sylveon celebrations collector box and then they went on sale and I picked up the lances charizard collectors box for 24 CDN. My local game store has them both for $40 CDN and he actually has very fair pricing so I was surprised to see them at Walmart for so cheap. Just took forever for them to have them in stock.
