Mine when you floor it it builds boost up to a certain point then has a loud whistle and the truck start choking only happens slightly after it starts doing the 6.0 growl idk how to explain it very good but any idea?
I'm getting humming sound right around 50miles per hour, truck has been fully bulletproofed about 2 months ago and just recently started getting that hum. Truck runs great, shifts great, idles great but just around that speed I get that hum, goes away right around 45 and above 55 to 60mph, any ideas?
@@HarrygTV no, it's coming front the front end driver side, I narrowed it down the wheel bearing. When I make a right or on rd going right the noise seems to disappear
Will a bad turbo cause tranny issues? Mine is in the shop currently. Has a bad grinding noise in the floor board and the shop is telling me the trans is fine
I thought my turbo bearings were going in mine! This confirms it

There are only bushings in this turbo and nearly all turbos out there.

This truck has neither bearings in the turbo or a cat.

In my car it sound like the turbo comes in and out. Almost like a misfire

Yes. These trucks have very little power without boost.
Mine shut off completely I got new boot and new turbo runs great now@@HarrygTV

Turbo problems cause low power, which makes the trans shift odd...
FICM can cause hard shifts

Sorry, I don't remember exactly what it was. It did make some small amount though...

Seems like it could only build a third of the boost it needed.
I just replace mine had the same problem
