Barbie extra fancy line is what I’m here for! And while the curvy one is the most underwhelming of them all, I’m really glad she’s in heels. We haven’t had a curvy girl in the extra line that has not had those atrocious flat feet
I keep imagining the Barbie movie being something like Legally Blonde. A blonde who likes pink and fashion is unfairly judged because she's blonde, likes pink and fashion. But in the end proves to everyone that a woman can like those things and still be a strong capable woman.

That would be amazing! I've just seen a scene where Barbie is skating with Ken and she punches a dude that tries to catcall her. I kind of suspect that the movie is about Barbie and Ken coming to the real world like Enchanted, but I'm not sure.
@@danaejer I saw that too! Whatever the movie is about I hope there's more stuff like that, I love when they remind everyone just how tough Barbie really is. Remember in Toy Story 3 when interrogated Ken? That was awesome.

I actually like the new color reveal set, but I also love rain jacket looks. I wish they had given us another Ken like with the mermaid line though. I don't like the 'deluxe' trio though. They don't look quite as cute outfit wise. But overall, I think Mattel is trying at least as far as making the playsets have a more cohesive theming.
7:50 I don't know how to tell you this, but they're having a comeback. I see them on teenagers at work somewhat frequently.

I think the pink extra fancy Barbie is quite tacky at first glance but hey… we get materials! Fabrics and details keep it going Mattel.

But I’m not surprised that Dreamtopia flies off the shelves, they are bright and inexpensive.

Im so HAPPYYYYY finally barbie extra make the curvy in heels!! Coz mostly the curvy always in flat which some people might find it upsetting as the label curvy as heavy but this really is my standard and i cant wait for the new barbie extra!!! Why malaysia country release number 15 first?? And also i live in singapore and ive been hunting the barbie 15 islandwide still no sign of her *ssigh* i guess just wait till summer then
I agree with most of what you are saying. However, I like Mini Barbie Extras. I really like miniture dolls, so that may have something to do with it.
I love the quality of Barbie Extra but I do wish they'd release a line with the amount of quality but not all those printed outfits. I'd like to see one with highly detailed simple fashions I do like the Barbie in the line one colour nice and simple I'd like to see more like that. The patterns are cute don't get me wrong but I prefer less is more approach to outfits when it comes to colour and design.
I LOVE the extra fancy. I will get all the extra minis for collections sake. Crown mini is my favorite!!!!
The Extra Fancy dolls look nice. I'll probably get the blonde. I'm not into the Minis. To me they are just a way to get more articulation and outfits for Chelsea dolls but I've yet to buy one. The rain color reveal dolls look better than usual if only because they seem to be taking a cue from Rainbow High instead throwing random colors and patterns together.
I like the pastel color reveal barbies as well but yes I wish they had articulation and fabric tops. I’m so excited for fancy extra and so happy they’re only $5 more $30 instead of $25 ❤️❤️❤️

The pink one is nice, but stiff vinyl is not fancy! That dress would have been so nice if it was a cloth material. I like the sunshine and sprinkle color reveals. At least this time the colors match. But I think for the price we should get some articulation.
Considering that currently they make them so young in the dolls and movies/series ( they are actually 17 years old teenagers in Dreamhouse Adventures, and she goes to high school she don't do any job ) but in the 80s they were adults, i like that they will return to be adults in the movie
I never believed that Barbie was only 17, it's not believable for all the jobs she does, i always believed she was between 25 and 30
I like the Barbie Extra Fancy dolls, but I wish they had chosen to do one in black and white. And how about a line of upscale fashion packs to go with them? Recent fashion packs have been so tacky imo.
Also not the best quality either!

new color reveal dolls look a bit rainbow high-esce 👀 they look very cute though! i love the color palette being pastels. plus the rain-jacket fashion works perfectly with a color reveal line

I always look forward to seeing these vids the most! I really like the silhouette of all the extra fancy dolls, but the prints don't do it for me, save for the floral print skirt. I also really like the color reveal ones for some reason, especially the teal one. I can give the plastic clothes a pass as they are meant for water play.

I think mattel is mass producing dolls to compete with mga, which isn’t far fetched obviously, but like you said a lot of the new Barbie’s aren’t good quality meanwhile mga is producing better quality dolls, so mattel is kinda setting themselves up, now if it was monster then there’d be an even playing field

Finally ! Finally someone agrees with me. Thank you! I think that Mattel should slow down too! I am not a fan of the Color Reveal dolls and painted clothes . Also I do love animals but come on ! Why do almost all playline dolls come with pets? I do not understand why Extra barbie has a bird or an aligator and I dont get why Extra Fancy has a bear..It's like Barbie Fancy is spouse to go to a party or go to an event but she needs a bear with? Why? Plus why do the pets need sun glasses lol
I’ll be honest with you, I completely agree with you with the Barbie Dreamtopia. I don’t collect any of them and they are ghastly! The new Color Reveal dolls are cute, however I’m not a fan of the painted on tops, but I do like how colourful they are but my guess is that they’ll charge between £20-£25 and sadly, I don’t think I’ll be adding her to my collection or the deluxe doll. She’s pretty, I like the pink streaks, however I feel like the quality will be very cheap with bad quality hair and lack of articulation. I agree with you about the price being over £30, because the plastic clothes look tacky.
I hate the dolls that you play with in the bath especially the Barbies, it’s a shame because the second doll has a pretty screening but the painted on swimming costume lets her down. The two guys look nice, however I hate the lack of articulation and I don’t understand why you can remove their swimming trunks but not for the female Barbie dolls.
I would say the Barbie Extra Fancy dolls are impressive because they are articulated. Although they aren’t as poseable as the Made to Move dolls, they are better than the others. My favourite is the girl on the left because I like how she has painted on baby hairs, I’m just hoping the quality of the hair will be nice when they are released, and I love the teddy bear cape, and her pastel shoes, but I do agree with you with the fake Care Bears. I like how all three have super long hair, but I’m undecided whether I’d buy one of them or give them a miss.

Makes sense the rain or shine dolls have plasticand painted on clothes..Its water friendly...
I mean I'm fine with the barbie extra minies. The top left and bottom right are perfectly fine however, when it comes to the other two there are a few problems (in my opinion). I think that the top right doll has really cute accessories, apart from the shoes which could be a different colour instead of white, and her hair colour is fine but the writing on it is just a no-no and I also just don't like the length. The bottom left doll has pretty cute hair and I like most of her accessories. The issue is though that nothing ties together. Yes she has the flower bag, dress and glasses but there not the same colour. Also her glasses are just plain black with no details (I also don't like it on the bottom right). I don't know whats on top of her dress and its very random.
I like the teal coloured colour reveal doll, I would rebody her anyway. Does she have the Goddess face mold?? 💙💚💙💚

Gday, do you find that there is a delay getting these dolls in stores? I understand that’s barbie is American but here in Australia I always feel like it’s been months after the release that we get them. The mermaid reveal dolls with the Ken have only just started appearing on shelves here
I am definitely getting the pink dress/crown Extra Mini, and maybe the brown haired one as well. I think the Extra Minis' designs are often better than the full size Extras because they're forced to simplify them from all the clashing elements they would have on a full size doll. As for the Extra Fancies, I really want to like them but of these three designs none of them are doing it for me.

I like the look of the Extra Fancy line - my ten year old daughter loves the one with the bear dress (she's obsessed with bears) so they really hit the mark for her with this doll, but she agrees with you that the bag is dull and underwhelming.
I'm really looking forward to the Barbie movie, but most of the upcoming dolls just aren't it for me. The Extra Fancy dolls are nice, but they're not even for sale where I'm at. Yes, I'm well aware that I can order the dolls online, it's just very telling of how well they expect the dolls to sell by if you can get them in your area immediately.

So, from what I know, the Barbie Movie is gonna be an Enchanted/Lego movie hybrid where she comes to the real world from her "barbie" world. I really hope they follow Lego Movie's steps and have the "Barbie" world be stop motion animation using ACTUAL Barbie Dolls, or at least CG that's meant to look like stop motion. Honestly, the problem with dolls these days, specially Barbies, is that Mattel loves to over saturate us with them. It’s like a competition of who comes out with a new doll idea first! They rush too soon with so many Barbies that they end up looking cheap! I would love some companies to take it easy and surprise us with dolls with lovely looks, like for example Rainbow High dolls did!
I guess that “sales” ($$) is the number one priority these days. The illusion of owning a beautiful doll that we would really love is lost.☹️

Thank you again Dear MATTEL for hearing our prayers for reproducing back the original face sculpt of Barbie! I feel I'm filled with relieved and overwhelmed of seeing the thumbnail of this video that Barbie is slowly recovering back her original face mold like she originally has in the late 90's and early millennium era of 2000. realistic human like face sculpt, soft flowing hair that doesn't get matted overtime from combing, braiding and styling. Once again, Dear MATTEL please hear our prayers 🙏 we've hope you started reproducing back fashion style dolls like Superheroes from MARVEL movies as well.
