Fantastic in depth review!! I really appreciate all the measurements and disassembly of everything!! Keep up the great work!
Thank you, good sir, for taking it upon yourself to make a review for this product.
Thanks for the detailed look at these. Very useful information actually at the end with the pedal faces being uncomfortable with socks because from the pictures I thought these would be good with socks.
That's a personal thing, for me it was uncomfortable, for others might not be a big deal, but inverted and driving shoes feels a tiny bit closer to real life:)
Hi Peter. How do the connectors at the rear stick out in the inverted setup? I'm hoping to use it under my desk until I get more space, but that would require sticking the frame back against the wall to stop them moving when I press the brakes.
i wanted a longer video a full assembly and all I like your video a lot will help me to decide if I want p1000s. I have clubsport v2 rn but I would always crash out in light braking zones, I looked in the control panel and apparently you don't even read brakes until full 100% travel with the damper design. So I realize I need to upgrade to be able to actually brake.
Hey simagic as i suspected just released their damper, i was hoping you would get it and review for comparison with the fanatec one and differences stock vs with damper
It's better to review it after understanding the structure.
The load cell sensor measures pressure, so no matter what happens in between, the stroke will change, but the pedal force will not change.
If you put a steel spring in an aluminum cylinder, put a Teflon sheet or something in between to prevent wear and friction.
You should review with the right knowledge
You recommend the extended throttle pedal for better heel toe?
I have read the travel distance is very short, like no throttle to full throttle, is it same for u
Do you find the clutch travel to be a bit short?
I think the “couple of washers” are highend NordLock washers. If that’s the case there is put a lot of thought in these pedals!
Hey thanks for the video, its very useful.
Do you think is it possible to switch the position between brake and clutch pedals. I prefer my left leg to be aligned with my brake pedal its more comfortable. I hope the wires of the pedal and the haptic motor are long enough to make it possible. Thanks !
Definitely will work, also you can connect haptic on brake to clutch input, in the software abs can be assigned to any pedal
@@petermakesthings7342 thank you for the answer. Very good work with your vidéos 💪🏻
I’m getting these but I’m going to wait until they add springs for the brake pedal. I mentioned the spring addition in one of their (simagic) videos. They said they are looking into it.
I already added a spring, video coming probably tomorrow
@@petermakesthings7342
Simagic is providing springs now?
Do you think I would be able to mount these to a Next Level Racing GT-Track cockpit? That's the only thing stopping me from buying these already. Looking at the baseplate in your video, I don't know if it would be possible. Any idea about this? Thanks.
no clue, check the mounting diagram for P1000 and compare against mounting solutions compatible with gt-track, worst case scenario you can always make your own holes :)
@@petermakesthings7342where did you get this mounting diagram for the p1000?
I have the gt track and they fit good for me.
Can u update the Hydraulic? Is it alot better?
Some tips. You can use the clutch springs in the throttle to make it stiffer. Also if you turn the throttle piston rod you can add preload
So loosen the locking nut on throttle throttle then use the spanner provided to add preload on the spring.
Also the simagic p2000 throttle dampener can be added to the p1000 throttle with very little modding.
Yeah I figured the same thing re spring and preload, but tbh I think the clutch spring will be too much, gonna be fine after I'll add the fanatec damper
The brake pedal cylinder is much easier to take out and put back if you remove all the preload from it first. Also the pin on the arm does not need to be removed.
Thx, I figured that by now, it was the first time I was removing it and that didn't go very well :D
Glad to hear it! Just wanted to offer a helping hand in case it was still something you were struggling with! Thanks for the brilliant in depth video!
Will the inverted add on work if you have big feet? Can’t find anyone with big feet reviewing these yet lol.
:D yeah I'm uk11/eu46 and had to move the pedal face plates all the way up (check the pros&cons at end of video), as you can see I am able to dive fairly OK, even heel&toe in shoes, although my heel is very near to the edge of base plate. I drove around 10-15h by now and have no issues or discomfort. If your feet are uk12/13 the toes will most probably be above the top edge of face plates though.
@@petermakesthings7342thanks for replying! I’m US 13 which is UK 12. It would be a tight fit it seems but I could tilt it forward a bit like I do with the non inverted ones and that gives a little more space. Hard decision
I got them recently. Size UK 12, it's fine, more than enough space, Had to adjust them and I am no longer too close to the edge. a bit tight together, but you can move them more apart than stock. I'm getting used to them. Love them so far, great pedals! Just setting them in a good position might take some trial and error.
@@WildStyle Thanks for the reply. I’m thinking of getting the inverted upgrade now. I wish I could test them inverted but I’m thinking the feeling of pushing should be better.
Thank you, I’m thinking of getting the inverted mount for the track racer rig. Do you think it’s possible that I could buy the P1000 pedals and take them off the stock simagic base plate and mount them to the track racer inverted mount? I understand I’ll have some wiring and that control box, but I have no problem, concealing and attaching those items to the back side of the track racer plate. I just want to give myself the most flexibility with separating pedals from left to right, your thoughts?
Vx pro brake broke today i said f it im trying these
