just found this channel, see you're running into the concerns of overheating...so you can replace C/H but need new radiator...something people don't talk about much when doing this work...sounds great (save the Chevy Chirp...hate that all the Vette's Camaro's have that stupid belt chirp)
@@wisco-lad @1:43 and on you can hear it, Camaro's notorious for it, I find it aggravating on mine, typically cold starts and cold weather make it worse...
@@wisco-lad I don't know if the newer camaro's and vettes do it, I just know the late 90's and early 2000's do it...usually during cold start or cold weather though, if hot out, doesn't seem to happen as much
Very cool to see someone install their cam and then tune it by themselves.
We enjoy doing it all!
It’s running and made it back home after a bunch of test runs, I’d say it’s a successful mission 👍🏻
That's always the biggest relief
Was looking for performance mods for my 99 after I finish prepping it for paint. Definitely going to do this. Subscribed.
If your gonna do cam you might as well do push rods, lifters, rockers and valve springs
Automatic. That broke my heart. Very nice car though.
Did you completely remove the pan to install the timing chain or did you just unbolt a few bolts out of the front and it dropped down enough?
😮😮😮 sheesh she bad ass I got 2000 b4c camaro z28 edition
Yall some cold mfs boyyy 💪🏽
cammin it cheap, tuning it cheap, but an S60 rear is NOT cheap lol
Do y'all have any experience with tuning before this? Did you find it was easy to figure out how to do on your own?
I've tuned with sct before this on my turbo ford. This was the first time using hp tuners
Hptuners is definitely tuning program you need to know cars an how everything works. Definitely needs 3800 plus converter, but awesome job y’all!!
I have an Xer stage 3 in my C5 with long tubes 😅
Missing & backfiring..😆
Sounds like the alternator is toast.
8:47 😍
Getting there! Keep it up!
Hey man quick question was that trans or was it trans tune making it hit red line?
It was blowing through the stock converter. Has a 3500 stall now

Will do! Lot more planned
That was my exact combo before I added heads and a fast 102 and true duals.

Belt chirp?

@other4819 never heard of it lol... now I'll have to check n see if mine does it.

What wheels are those?
Look like C5 Z06 wheels to me. Lots of guys put them on their 'Maros
@@bradleylovejlol nope guess again
@@AlexSanchez-tr5fu Oh, I see. You're right. They're kind of in the style of those Z06 wheels with the two prongs side-by-side going around the wheel
