These things take time. Also here is QLD if you run quicker than 9.50 you get booted off the track and not allowed back till full cage chute and ANDRA Licence. Rough estimate but that’s well over 10k
This is certainly a strange car. It’s a street car that’s never been to the track - so spends 100% of its time on the street. It’s the 34th quickest car Ross has tested. The fuel Economy and lack of drive ability would make it useless as a Daily. At the traffic lights it would pretty much lose to everything. And I mean everything. The cars powerband and gearing means 160kmh -270kmh is probably it’s sweet spot. And only on Very straight, perfect DRY roads. Pretty much useless for QLD roads. It’s so laggy that highway pulls would mean the race would be over before this thing started chasing it down. This is THE most expensive way to build a 12sec street car. Learning how to launch the car, how to know what the suspension setup should be what tyre pressure to run. It simply takes time and with Willowbank being closed for refurb just have to wait. These things take time. Thats my opinion.
Still running factory ECU. So not able to do things like anti-lag or Nos to stage the car quickly. Eventually will get a Haltec which will be great but I’m just enjoying the experience. It took me 5 years to build the car and now just enjoying it and learning as the build progresses
