Fantastic. My brother had fg f6. What an awesome motor. The old 250 evolved. I had a mate who worked at Product Engineering in Geelong. I was an apprentice mechanic he told me circa 1980 that Ford Geelong had a 250 with 4 valves per cylinder on the dyno doing endurance testing and the engine was making crazy HP and at high RPM. So the old 250 was evolving and being developed to assess it's potential a long time ago and that is why the barra is so successful because of the research and evolutionary process. It someone should purchase Ford casting plans etc and start building engines for the world market

makes me miss my 480rwkw FG. used heaps of fuel and was a massive tank but you really cant beat rolling on the power at 110km/hr and wheel spinning past people
@shane marz cool mate, run your VT at the drag strip, you'll need to beat 10.88 @ 134.6mph to beat my quickest time which i did with a very sad transmission
They're so nice... too bad everyone is modding them. They're more valuable in the future unmodified. Hence why I'm keeping my FG 50th anniversary XR6T stock as a rock. But each to their own! Amazing car.

How did you keep your head off the headrest with 1004kw? Mines pinned to that shit with 600kw pulling 1.4g's of acceleration. And I'm really struggling to put the power down, drag radials or not.
WOw there's no way with stock tyres even semi slicks with stock sizes will that have traction, which is why he has the drag radials and a lot larger, which gives you grip straight away as soon as they heat up. :) Also noticed and correct me if i'm wrong mr wong, there's no heat shielding around the turbo or headers or maybe they are ceramic coated, plus heat shielding would do the trick to keep the heat away from the engine bay, nice FG and people do not realize it costs around 50K for engine and running gear comb to be in a totaly safe drag /st car, stock autos and diff go right out the window and the same with tailshafts so all that costs money if you want a real good running gear and safe upto 1,500 hp rating its that simple?
Your smile isn’t as large as in the Commodore, that super charger makes a big difference in torque figures in comparison to a hair dryer + you can’t beat cubes. I’m glad you dropped this tube. Small suggestions in limited areas, good job 👍🏼
Connect up some laughing gas to that LSA, get the tune right and it’d be like Bathurst 75% of times past; big horse power but what were the torque figures? As if the owner would send a stranger out in that 🙄
