Great artists does not know about générations or ages, they are eternal and its music sound timeless, you made a great choice, Siouxsie and the banshees are one of the most creative and original bands of all time!
I can't get over how good this song is. It should be illegal to release something this fire. Especially around 2:01, when the heavier notes on the bass hit at the same time as Siouxsie's perfect vocals.
The sound of the guitar on this is out of this world. John had a very unique guitar style; like Johnny Marr with effects and a more outside the box way of playing.

Am I the only one that thinks the opening scene is HILARIOUS? I love the Banshees but the way they toss Siouxsie, rolled up in that rug, is just really dorky :)
I think a lot of Banshees music videos are funny. Like the falling cat in Spellbound, the kids that swamp Siouxsie at the end of Playground Twist, the music video for Happy House in general.

If you want truly great women's music the late 70's and early 80's had it: Lene Lovitch, Nina Hagen, Siouxsie Sioux, Kate Bush, kd Lang, Blondie, Chrissie Hynde, Patti Smith and even the original screamer, Yoko Ono, who IMHO had evolved from mere 'screamy' sound scapes to having more good melodic and quirky original songs on 'Double Fantasy' than John did and I still wear Lennon glasses!
