bro may i ask something. i could get a gvm 650B brandnew in a store near me for 580 usd, do you think its worth that price? also im torn between the GVM 650b and the GVM 300C (which i coulld get for 380 usd). i shoot commercials and right now i get by using the neewer cb300b, ms150b, cb60b. what do you think is the better addition?
I haven't touched GVM 300C, so cannot comment on it :D. But for 650B Pro if you are going to use it at 50% and more power it's no brainer. It's quite CCT accurate at powers above 50%. At that prices you are not able to find anything better, and if you want anything better it's gonna cost you around 2k USD :D (Forza or Godox). Question is what do you need more? 300W RBG fixture or bi-color 600W fixture. Maybe get both :D. I have Amaran 300C and I'm quite happy about it. Another point to consider is how accurate are Neewer lights and if they skew green or magenta? GVM has magenta shift, if your Neewers have green shift it might be hard to match them (if you care).
