    I still remember this game like it was yesterday. LoL. My dad was a hardcore Titans fan, always yelling at them over the TV when they played. I was a teenager when this Super Bowl went down. At the end, he was pissed, and he sent us kids to bed early. Haha.

      Please. He's overrated and a total phony. And for someone as religious as Kurt Warner professes to be, you'd think he'd remember Matthew 23:12 "All those who exalt themselves will be humbled. All those who humble themselves will be exalted." If he were really a good guy, he wouldn't have trashed the Bucs after the NFC Championship Game the way he did. And he was on a loaded team with the Rams and stunk as soon as he was off of them.

    The Greatest show on turf Rams vs. Air McNair and the Titans.... It was a memorable game of inches.

      Can we stop with the greatest show on turf nonsense. Such an overrated offense that beat up on bad teams/defenses in the regular season. When they played real defenses (even on artificial turf) in the playoffs vs Tampa (they scored 11 points) and had 16 on Tennessee (also on turf) until a corner tripped and fell. Their defense was underrated and carried them in the playoffs

    That next to last play by McNair that set up the (almost) game-tying TD is one of the most iconic SB plays. One yard short! :-(

      That play mcnair made was legendary status....mcnair should've held onto the ball a little more because he threw it too early to dyson just like the insane catch kearse made in the 2015 SB before wilson threw an INT at the goal-line

    It's funny. At about the 35-minute mark, Al Michaels says if they tried to sell Kurt Warner's story to Hollywood, it would be rejected as too schmaltzy. Now, at Christmas 2021, we have "American Underdog."

      Norman Hayward they actually went 8-8. It was that 59-0 game that led to Kerry Collins getting benched for Vince Young, who, with 2000 yard Chris Johnson, got them to 8-8 miraculously.
      Also, Alan Strong, believe me, Mariota is easily the brightest young QB in the NFL. That dude is going to be a superstar; so smooth, calculated and efficient. The way Jon Robinson has built this team in just over a year is remarkable. They're probably the brightest up-and-coming team in the NFL. Especially in that sub-par division. I say they win the division this year.

      @@zt3862 Nah, even if Titans scored they would have to play OT. And the rams did a good tackle but still one often made while the Pats did an incredible INT when Seahawks had 3 plays left. Seahawks locker fell apart afterwards.

    Rams fan since 1999. I'm 43 and i remember watching this game and when the Titans tied it up at 16, i was scared as hell but when Issac Bruce caught that 73 yd touchdown i went crazy then i got nervous again because McNair took them all the way to the 1 yd line but they came up short. You can just imagine the rollercoaster of emotions in the last 2 minutes of the game. Lmao

    It's pretty sad 💔that Steve McNair didn't win his first Super Bowl in his lifetime. But I'm appreciated about the Tennesse Titans made it this far. The Super Bowl XXXIV will be the best memory of Steve McNair for a very longtime.

      Jeff Fisher shouldve won at least one super bowl with those teams from 99-03. The talent on those teams were crazy, but hey Titans have Marcus Mariota so theyre gonna have a good shot of going to multiple super bowls with him at qb.

      RG: to be fair, there would still have been OT needed. No guarantees that they win there. and it was a dfficult play for WR to complete in that his back was against defender upon catching ball.

    I still remember the feeling I had at the end of this game in middle school. The Rams were on top of the world and I knew hardly anything about football; I was just excited for the win. Then ol' Tom Brady (Basic af name) ass come to town and ruined everything. And that's how my hatred for the Patriots started. This Superbowl and the next one shaped my football fandom forever.
    Those Puma jerseys tho!

    This was the game that made me a football fan. Kurt Warner and company will always have a soft spot in my heart. Fitting that the Hollywood Cinderella story of Warner's improbable rise from nowhere to league MVP and Superbowl champion is actually Hollywood movie for real now.

    As a lifelong Rams fan (still one now), this is one of my favorite memories. Can't take this away from us. Even though I wish we could have done more than put up 3 freaking points last SB

    It's weird that the Titans went from Miracle to Heartbreak in the same playoffs isn't it? They beat the bills by a miracle play and then lost the super bowl by one yard short. MIracle and Heartbreak.

    Great game! Kurt Warner is a pure pleasure to watch. The Titans were lucky that Warner didn’t pass for 28 points in the first half? McNair is a good QB but does not have the pinpoint accuracy of Warner! It is very interesting that Warner doesn’t take any snaps in the shotgun position but takes everything under center. He is truly a Hall of Fame QB!!

    This game made me a Rams fan. First NFL game I ever watched when I was 9 years old. Still a Rams fan to this day. Crazy to see how much things have changed.

    Almost 20 yrs later I now realize that If McNair throws the ball in front of Dyson with a lil touch, Dyson catches it at the 1 while being tackled into the end zone. RIP McNair

    One of the top-three greatest Super Bowls in my opinion (my personal favorite is Super Bowl XLII when the Giants knocked off the 18-0 Patriots). I remember watching this with my dad when I was in first grade. Great memories and an even better Super Bowl.

      G21 K No. I’m from LA, but the Super Bowl Win will always be in St. Louis. That’s why the Rams belong in St. Louis because of history.

      More history in LA before they went over to St. Louis, yes the Super Bowl win is in St. Louis but way longer history in LA than in St. Louis. I became a fan when they where in St. Louis, when LA didn’t have a team.
