yo whats up surronster theres like a 99.99% chance you wont see this but I dream of having anything like a bike that you have! Ive been trying to get into the e-bike world (just the bike world in general tbh), ive started with a mx650, I know its bad, been saving up for a new battery cause ive been riding it so much the battery life is like 5 minutes im not even kidding, im also 13 btw, trying to get a surron in the future or anything close to it, ive started a lawn mowing buissiness to try and get money, its going good so far, been watching you a lot lately and keep up the great content! sorry for anyone who read that whole ass paragraph btw

Same - the 72v batteries are really dear and the ebox only comes with a 60v so even buying that and the ET & co controller it still wont be as good as the ETM but maybe the frame + brakes would be better and then you could 72v swap down the line

How feasible is a bike like this for heavy riders? You look like you're maybe 160 lbs, and you move along pretty well. I'm 230 (body builder) and have concerns regarding performance/reliability. I exceed the weight limits for most pit bikes (this one, as well as the Ebox). Would I be safe riding either one of these? As far as a comparison between the two mentioned above bikes, is the ETM $1,250 better than the Ebox 2.0? How about after the upgrades you made to it? I just want to shoot around the streets and explore, maybe find a light off-road trail and see where it goes. No jumping/bashing. Thanks in advance. Rad videos, dude!
Side note - It would be sick if at some point you could test the effects of added weight vs performance loss. Maybe that could help people make a better decision on which bike to get?
@@TheOne-TheOnly if you weight 230 then performance might be an issue. This bikes max load capacity is meant to be 180-190lbs
@@Rise_Xehn Yeah that's unfortunate. I would think that upgrades would raise the weight limit to some extent, if the limit pertains to the battery/motor and how much stress they can handle. Would be nice to have that answer.

Curious for your opinion. Other than the battery life, what would make this better than the ebox 2.0 with the controller upgrade from Electric Co.? Because the ETM is $3000 and the ebox with controller upgrade is $1800 all in.
I'm pretty sure that it would mainly just be the top speed and range.

Is a suron a long journey bike or a short journey bike, so for like the short journey, would you take it me on a pedal bike 10 to 15 mins to get to school but the long journey would take 30 to 40 mins to get to school would a sur-ron make it faster or slower??

I found an MX500 by a dumpster. The batteries are shot, I rode it for 15 sec. Question: is it worth spending $3k to fully upgrade it using E&C components (76v20ah bat). Or buy their out of the box bikes like this? I was gonna repaint, restore the frame and plastics to a colour of my choice.

might sound stupid but on the website it says upgradeable to 72V rather than 48, does that mean it comes normally 48 and you have to buy smth else as well to make it like it is in the video?

ebox u can get a controller and do 40ish mph mx650 is cheaper but you would need whole kit and rebuild to achieve 40 mph with a 650, but ebox is 1500 an people have been having issues with company. 650 can be found locally for as low as 200 or new around 6-700

If it’s a 72v out of the box in theory it be a simple controller upgrade and you’re hitting just about 70 on that thing 😱

I was wondering if class 3 electric bikes have to be registered in CA? I live iNW Arizona in a small city that considers all electric bikes to be bicycles. I'm retiring from driving in a few years at close to 70, anything but a street legal quad, or a side by side. My ebike will soon be my only transportation eventually. I see mini bikes on our main roads everyday in traffic lanes. In 17 years, never seen one pulled over.

Today I went down a steep hill on my bike and there was a small bridge and a gap that lead to a river I couldn't brake in time so I flew into the river cut up my hand leg and got stung by nettles all up my arm and I was soaking wet 2 miles away from my house my day had not gone very well lol 😂😂 glad I've got a surronster video to watch
