    Superbe travail, et encore, encore, encore du décapant peinture ... mais bon, le résultat est magnifique. Je suis heureux, je sais ou est passé ma brosse à dents :-) ; enfin, très bonne idée pour le sus pence !

    Was all that paint added by a previous owner? I can't imagine the manufacturer chose to paint over a brushed brass finish, glass viewports, and etched designs.

      Paint preserved the metal parts enough to look this good after such a long time.

    That bayonet is FAR to nice to be used for removing tape 🙂Are you going to restore it? And what is it from?

    Керогаз 😂мне было лет 7- 8 ,чистил ,заправлял ,это было 1967-69 😂
    Наши были попроще ,дешевле материалы

    I think when you restore stuff it’s fine but when you go to painted it, ruins the antique value and when you go to resell it, it hurts the resell value like the video. Thanks.

    I watch a lot of restoration videos, but rarely have such bad decisions been made and the result was so poor...

    This is a question, not a criticism. You have done this, and I haven't. Why do you use the electrolytic procedure so early on, even before cleaning and stripping the paint? It seems to me it would be most effective to do it last, just before painting, as it is better at removing the last traces of rust than other methods.

      You're right! There was a lot of dirt on the surface. On some parts, I hadn't seen the paint underneath.😄

    Bravo! Paint stripper is excellent at removing oily carbon deposits. Methylene chloride FTW.

    You did an excellent job with the restoration but you want get a like or my subscription.
    Why?
    Well you could have made onion soup or something kind but to see the flesh of a pig and secretions of a chicken is just revolting.
    Not everyone is into cruelty and ignoring it.
