Composition of the shots, work with light, editing of the video is like in a professional film! Great job, friend! Keep up the good work! Looking forward to new videos!
This is my first view of your work. I love turning old useless things back into working, useful things! I like to fix things too, but none of mine compare to this one thing. Bravo! Now, just make sure you have ventilation in the room with it. When kerosene burns it creates carbon monoxide, a deadly odourless gas! But, you knew that! Lovely job!
Thank you! The main thing in restoration is experience. Work, gain experience and accumulate it. Over time, the result will please you. You are absolutely right about carbon monoxide. Fortunately, I have ventilation in my workshop
@@liviostocco1745 Sorry, but this is a myth. German, Austrian, American things were strong and high-quality, but definitely not Soviet. In this particular kerosene stove, the casting quality is simply terrible. The bottom is all in the tunnels. Defectiveness was a mandatory attribute of Soviet products. And things were usually very simple and cheap because people were poor. If there was anything of quality, it was the raw materials of metals
Awesome job, man; every single thing in your video is first class, from artifact, craftsmanship, detail, edition... everything is just first class. Interesting. Didn't know this because I've never seen these kerosene stoves in good condition. Thank you. This is valuable information for the future as I have several more similar stoves for restoration.
@@Dr.Pepperovsky Okay. I have a lot of Soviet ones in my collection, including the ones in your video (1920-1960s). They are all original, without any surface paint. Control windows made of multilayer thin, flexible mica plates. In our family, we used a kerosene stove until 1974, since there were constant power outages, and gas was not yet supplied to the houses. Unlike Gasoline Stoves (under pressure), heating something on a kerosene stove, let alone cooking, was very problematic and time-consuming.
@@dementevigor Yes, you are right when you say that cooking something on a kerosene stove is just a kind of punishment.
