Great restoration and attention to detail. You took a sad lamp and made it shine again!! You gave it a new life and kept it from going to the trash. Well done sir!! The Old Army Scout… Thanks for sharing your experience with us!
Thank you! The whole point lies in the details. If you can read these details, life becomes qualitatively different.)) Thank you again and have a nice day!
Yes, you are right. This must be done. I plan to add subtitles. At the current pace, I just don't have time. One video a week is too much. I plan to switch to one video in two weeks and then there will be time to add subtitles. Thank you for viewing and commenting!
Very nice work Dr. Pepper 🌶️.. I very seldom subscribe after seeing one video, but I want to have the bragging rights when you hit 1M subs ... Take care and God Bless my friend...
Good restoration once again. A quick suggestion is to label the cleaning materials you are using. For example when cleaning the container you poured two liquids but didn't specify what they were. Maybe stick a label so we know what you are using. Thank you.
Thank you so much for watching and for your detailed comment. I plan to add subtitles but I don't have time. I think in the near future I will start adding text and also add to the already uploaded videos. Regarding fluids, the first is a solution of citric acid that I have saved from the previous restoration. Another liquid is water. The dark bottle contains vegetable oil to neutralize the acid.

Thank you! The stamp of the factory is defective, as it often happened. It is barely readable. It said "Lamp factory" and the anchor logo. I could not paint the bottom because it was painted from the factory. It was also not possible to correct the text with an engraver because the wall is very thin.
Nice refurbishing project. Looks good. And any time you need to make a metal surface really shiny, polish it as best you can, than clean it and plate in with Nickel Plating. It will shiny very nicely... Thumbs Up!
Thank you sir! Yes, the reflector required more effort. But I don't quite understand what you mean. Do you recommend electroplating or is there perhaps some chemical method?
@@Dr.Pepperovsky Electro plating. Use Nickel Acetate and of course voltage and it will plate the reflector with Nickel. And that is very shiny and easy to do. Check how to do it on YT. There are loads of such videos showing how to do it...
@@garymucher4082 To be honest, I have been dreaming of mastering this technology for a long time. This would greatly free my hands in the restoration. This is especially necessary when restoring motorcycles. I think sooner or later I will get to it. Thank you for the constructive advice.
¡Muchas gracias! Regularmente recibo comentarios por el hecho de que firmo el video como una restauración y en el proceso de trabajo me desvío del original, por eso elegí la pintura que se parece lo más posible a la original de las que tenía.
No sir. Someday it will definitely be him)) This is North Edge Apache. By the way, it recently broke down after three years of operation. It is worth saying that the mode of operation was really aggressive, but still three years is not enough. I had more durable watches.

Great work, really enjoy this type of resto👍🏻
Thank you sir! Really glad you liked it.
One piece of advise, the shinier the reflector, the brighter the light.

У мене навіть десь є білий круг. Правда по факту він уже не зовсім білий))) Та думаю на швидкість то не вплине. Дякую за підказку!
Wonderful..😊. I am 53 and live in Pakistan. You took me to my childhood. My mom used a little bit different. Nice work.
Thank you. Childhood is a time worth a lifetime. If my video was able to take you back to your childhood even for a moment, then it was worth it)
Another great restoration 👏👏
Thank you sir!🙂
I enjoyed the restoration and appreciate the work you did with video. I would like to see labels of liquids or chemicals you use.

для нейтрализации кислоты используют щелочь, это у нас в 5 классе проходят 😂😂

На дне лампы было имя производителя. Плохо что вы его не показали и закрасили. Удачи в продвижении канала!!
