It is bad enough that there are wicked individuals who mistreat and neglect cats and other animals in appalling ways, but Vets are supposed to put the animals' welfare at the forefront of treatment and do everything in their power to treat sick animals who do not have a voice. Additionally, these vets are trusted by their owners to make ethical and medically sound decisions to improve the health of their patients. To learn that a substantial number of these vets who can only be described as common criminals, are more focused on lining their pockets than doing the best for the animals in their care, is distressing to say the least. Who can you trust? Thanks to Samantha, Claire and the team of veterinary and other professionals, pet owners and others who contributed to these positive and ground-breaking outcomes. HURRAY! Pet owners, I hope you have learnt from this experience that you too have a powerful voice. If something do not feel right, it probably is not right, seek second opinions if you can and there is also a lot of good information on the internet. Oliver, I believe you had a strong sense of what was taking place in your living room. Live long and prosper my furry friend.
Camano Island, Wa.USA. When its an pets time to go I always loved them and let them go naturally. They know whats going on and are hurt if its not time. They know more than we know.
THEY will let you know! I would never want my pets to suffer in any way. Some people wait too long while their pet suffers, only thinking of themselves and NOT their pet, which is very sad. Ours have given us signs that it's their time, of COURSE it's a horrible thing to go through, ultimately it's up to us in many cases to make that final decision, and it REALLY sucks! Both my husband and I cry our eyes out! It's like tearing your heart in half. We've been lucky in that all of our pets have had very LONG lives! 15 yr old Lab, kitty passed 2 was shy of his 20th day, the others all lived to be 16, 17 years old. Not bad for large pups! All but kitty were rescues, and young babies and adopted from shelters, as puppies. Started in 1977!
This brought tears to my eyes. Animals have an incredible way of showing love and gratitude, even in their toughest moments. Such a powerful and heartwarming story!

Your story touched my heart deeply. It’s amazing how one person’s love for their pet can spark a movement that changes so many lives. I wish for everyone to continue spreading hope and compassion in everything you do. May your days be filled with peace and good health, just like the warmth of spring after a long winter. Stay strong and never stop fighting for what’s right.
Technocracy! Please do a similar story on the animal *kill crisis* in kill shelters, escpecially "government run" shelters. Incorperate the overpopulation of animals bred as pets & the lack of proper oversite, especially of *backyard breeders* who flood the market. Overbred animals with filthy living conditions/cages, horrific &/or no vet care, neglected & abused animals. And the breeders who are dumping their breeder animals either in kill shelters or on the streets, where they suffer from starvation, injury, sickness & terrible abuse, when they can't sell them or make money off them ie the overbred mothers.
