This is a custom level of GoldenEye 64 installed with the GoldenEye Setup Editor - more info here: github.com/car...
I was wrong, Warehouse 8 is not the last level for this series by Ami and Rey, and this one isn't either. A rather hard level, but manageable with both armors and by tricking the AI. And no, the ending is not a bug and I did not fail the mission, you're supposed to be shown as K.I.A.
This is being played through with an emulator and a 60FPS patch, mouse & keyboard controls and with increased FOV.

No, I did not fail the mission. Showing "KILLED IN ACTION" at the end of the level is made on purpose by the creator as stated on the level's description.

if i can play custom levels on my N64 game system then tell me please how to set special options on 007 golden eye because I want to play them custom levels and one more thing is the custom levels on the game cartridge 007
You need an Everdrive 64 to play them on the original N64, if you don't own one, you won't be able to play them on your N64. I don't have one either so I wouldn't know how to set it up, but as far as I know, you just patch the ROM normally and add it to the SD card for Everdrive 64 to read it normally. You can't do this with a normal GE64 cartridge.
Pach rom mey work on real N64 but what about N64 emulator i think it wuld work beter on that as that is an emulator plas an emulator use n64 roms that can be easliy patched as you seyed but i think you nou all this alredy:) P.S:I jast stated ic easier to set and pach roms on n64 emulator rader traying it on real N64 as on emulator proces is more simpler then on real N64 :)

Most custom levels seem based on original levels from the game. Probably easier than to create a whole new layout.
Some of those retextures are horrendous but the crate maze was really well executed. I think their Archive infiltration map was their best work.
Yeah Warehouse 8 is a really good level.

I swear, the creator of those levels should pay more attention on misspelling. It really fucks up the level and gameplay.
I don't think they speak English natively, but yeah they could ask for corrections somewhere in the forums.
i noticed this as well. The words just didn't flow and the conversations didn't sound intelligent. Also the your vs you're issue at least once.

No evil volcano lair is complete without pizza parlor checkered floor tiles

+Grasslu00 Great stuff as always. Just in case you're unaware and because it's giving me flashbacks to countless lost hours of my own playing this game, moving/running doors and hatches while they're opening in Goldeneye will cause them to open more slowly and IIRC in some cases will even prevent them from opening at all. Seems like it might have affected a few doors here. So easy to forget in the heat of the moment, and I know I've paid the price a few times myself in critical cases where I was doing speedruns or other stuff and getting shot at and killed for forgetting. Ugh. Also, there are times it can be faster to kneel/ duck under a slowly opening door than waiting for it to fully open.
One of, if not the first FPS on console. PC had a few (Doom 1 & 2, Quake, Hexen, Duke Nukem 3D, and unreal tournament)
Far from the first console FPS, but the one that defined the console FPS genre sure.
@@Graslu00 okay turok predates goldeneye and wolfenstein was released on the SNES in japan.
So shooters were on consoles before goldeneye, but goldeneye was the one that really got the ball rolling.
Then rare made perfect dark, which should have been just as good or not better. Sadly the only upgrade was the bots.

@@Graslu00 the james bond series gave a lot of depth to the goldeneye roster. PD suffers from a lack of character development and the story is lackluster. Multiplayer has bots which allows for two player to be a team.
Although PD does have some interesting guns.
@@Gashnaw Cutscenes and voice acting, secondary gun functions, better cheat system, incredibly deep multiplayer customization involving not only AI but all the settings you can change, bigger and more complex singleplayer levels, co-op, counter-op, training... "Only bots" is being really rough at it.
This level is identical to the caverns level. Just the look is different.
This is just the water caverns re designed to look like Belfelds Volcano lair from you only live twice.
You should totally do a speed run of the whole game! you'll be unstoppable!

Did you like it? Sure it didn't have the charm of the original game but it was a very solid title.
I've always described it as a horrible remake when it comes to representing GE64, but as a game on its own its pretty alright. I do enjoy playing it, just not as a GE64 remake.
