Your videos are great and extremely helpful. I rebuilt a 4l60e that ate the forward planetary bearing using your videos and a few others. I just drove it and works. I'm very grateful to you for your work. Thank you and your family for making and uploading these videos.
Richard I have enjoyed so many of your videos as you not only explain how things work, you also point out how to properly do the many steps in building a transmission, but you also explain on what NOT to do with is probably even more critical for us amateurs..Thanks
If you watch this at 2x you will see God. Love that Pontiac, went to HS with guys that had 66-67 Goats, uncle had a 67 2+2 with a 4spd... nice patina! Looks like it's got some Sweet Patina sauce on it!
Hey I want to tell Richard thank you for these videos. I have a 2004 Chevy Tahoe, and I built my 4l60E 2 years ago, and it's still going strong. It feels like another gear when my convertor locks up. I really pay attention to everything you say. I feel like with your help not only did I do the rebuild. I was able to make it better. Thank you
I’m so excited to get to watch your videos again Richard and Theresa!! Great job on the new shop and wish you guys the best of everything!!! And let’s not forget Annie. Glad to see her doing well too.
Enjoyed the program. Rebuild in 2015? Seems like a short life. Maybe the owner, when the rebuild was done, should have rebuilt the transfer case or installed a beefier unit. I've got a 2002 Dakota with 220,000 miles, parked 2 to 3 weeks when I'm on the road. Mechanically a sound runner.
Good to see a new video y'all " had me worried something happened! " hope y'all are liking your new shop!!" Got a ? Have a 1997 chevy tahoe 2wd had the 4l60e rebuilt, my ? Is that it shifts hard from 1st to second all the time, it goes in every gear 1 through 4 but first is a s.o.b...lol" my question is why 1st hits so hard? I'm on my 4th trans mount because it shifts so hard it ripped the rubber right off the mount...
Glad to see your channel back on, I really enjoy your videos and all your knowledge. I have a question not related to this video. I have a 2017 Allison transmission and I just drained the oil and changed the inner and outer filters. How much oil to refill, I'm thinking 8 quarts?
I have a f350 2002 4x4 diesel. Is there a ballpark price to upgrade and go though everything. It has about 130,000 on it. I would like to rebuild it before it goes out. Still working well.. Love your videos.
man Richard you are a master at these transmissions. i absolutely love watching your videos. I'm a gear head myself. But don't dare open up a transmission for anything serious..😂 so much to know about before even attempting to try anything. Thats why we have masters like yourself. keep up the great work. looking forward to the next one.
So so good to see y’all back. Never going to work on an American transmission but honestly, watching you guys tear these down and explaining them in detail is absolutely fascinating ❤ Again, so pleased you’re all back and keeping a similar format !
Was the other one demonetized because he said bull poop? Im still watching it again. Nope 35:58 still there, and still love it. Oops, just realized it was on the old channel. STILL WATCHING IT!!!!!!
Richard and Theresa, I'm very happy to see you back on You Tube! I've always enjoyed your transmission autopsies! Good to see you in good health and spirit!
Hey Richard. I stopped at your shop on the way home from the Grand Canyon back in October of 2021 and got my 2003 Crown Victoria transmission serviced. It’s time to drop the pan and replace the filter. Did y’all go back with Mercon V? Don’t want to mix fluids. Thanks
There's a whole lot of people thinking you and Theresa for coming back and videoing again what I want to know is if it's your transmission work why did it go down never mind welcome back and all that let's find out your mistakes
I do have a question. How can fluid in the outside part of the connector burn up the trans when the inside part of the connector is submerged in fluid?
Unfortunately, customers don’t wanna pay me to videotape putting a transmission back together. They would rather me concentrate on what they’re paying for.
I guess for those who don't know or didn't know Rich has been making videos on his channel. @Richard and Teresa Educational Transmission Videos. He's got tons of stuff he made on there.
Pretty sure if you are really good with the trigger on those electric tools, you can prevent the electric brake from engaging by releasing the trigger switch somewhere between half way and off which will allow the chuck to freewheel or cost vs. stop.
It's so nice having a full length strip down vid again, have missed them and yourselves!
So glad to see you posting videos again!
We love you and Theresa.. 'Keep On Truckin'!! (And Annie, of course) 🐕
This is a weird thing to say but watching you remove bolts is so satisfying. Glad to see the videos again
Good to see you back!😊

Holy cow he’s back!
Richard!
Thank you for the exceptional work you share with us!
Glad to see you posting again. For some reason I like watching stuff get tore apart and the fact you explain every detail makes it so much better.
What makes that Roots blower beautiful is the Pontiac that it's wrapped in.
That Catalina is Awesome!!!
WOOT!!!!!!! They’re back!
Keep the videos coming 🎉
Nice to see videos of y’all again
Morning rich! Such a Kool intro
Happy you are back! Hope all is well and thank you for sharing your expert knowledge and hard work with us!
I was at a drag race event in New Zealand, late eighties held on a closed road. Mustangs clutch exploded and a piece hit someone in the crowd.
Welcome back.....cool cool
Good to see your videos again. Hope everyone is doing well. I have been wondering where Trent is now?
He’s doing good
You are back wooohooo
Nice to see you posting vids again!
Good to see you back..
What’s a shop without a cuss word. 😂
We started calling them Exploditions because of the transmissions even before the Goodyear tires started blowing up😊
Thank God you’re back!!
So cool
Someone said that you can spot the true masters because they make it look easy.
When I was a teenager I blew a turbo 400 in a Pontiac Catalina with a 400 ci
I’m so excited to get to watch your videos again Richard and Theresa!! Great job on the new shop and wish you guys the best of everything!!! And let’s not forget Annie. Glad to see her doing well too.
@frankvitullo4925 he has another channel. Been on it for a while.
I wish I had money to burn I would put you in a new AC unit
@@builtbyme thanks I didn’t even know. As soon as I saw this video I clicked on it right away.
@frankvitullo4925 look for Richard and Teresa educational tranmission videos. That's the other channel
I have 339,000 miles on a 4R70W. It still shifts well. I do change the fluid every 40k miles. Maybe I've just been lucky.

Nice work Rich you didn't mention the O/D servo pin with the oring on it seals better did you recommend using the. That's the 4r75w
I will try to do that next time thank you for mentioning it

Zolman is who did the rebuild says the trans fine, it never did the hard shift to begin with before the rebuild..

I wonder how many miles were put on it since the last rebuild? Great video, thanks!
If you want to experiment with different thickness steels; find a machine shop with a grinder setup to change the thickness.
Hi Richie and Family,.🙏,
Biiiig greetings from Here BROOKLYN NEW YORK CITY. ❤❤❤
I’m not sure I’ve ever seen an Aisin transmission on a dodge need to be rebuilt on this channel.
best
Very informative
I have a f350 2002 4x4 diesel.

Richard do you do mail order ??? i want you to build a Trans for my 2002 4x4 Excursion ???
No, sir, we only install all of our units
Thanks Richard!!! Good to see you have your shop in order!
I got ao excited when I saw this notification!!!! I'm loving seeing you back Richard!!
good to see this.
There's a whole lot of people thinking you and Theresa for coming back and videoing again what I want to know is if it's your transmission work why did it go down never mind welcome back and all that let's find out your mistakes
love the content but i have one question, what happened to the trans filter?
I do have a question. How can fluid in the outside part of the connector burn up the trans when the inside part of the connector is submerged in fluid?
yea i ask him that question and he deleted my post. i call BS
Can’t believe how quick I clicked on this video.
Transtar.what a great company for trans parts.
We love a company that sells inclusive parts.. 😎🏳🌈
So am I correct that they do not except a transmission shipped to them to rebuild but must have the entire vehicle?
I never see you putting a tranmission back together.
Unfortunately, customers don’t wanna pay me to videotape putting a transmission back together. They would rather me concentrate on what they’re paying for.
Hey Richard Teresa & Annie, glad to see you back!
Are you using this channel from here out or the new one?
We believe that it is best that we go ahead and use both that way a lot of our audience does not miss out on our videos
I need a 4r110w converted to PTO case would you be able?? thank you
How do I get a transmission to y’all for a rebuild on a built 4l60e in a 2005 Tahoe with a forged cammed 6.0 LS
It's great to see all of again, especially Richard. Looking forward to finally seeing more videos from you.
@@oldguy2082 they have another channel. He never stopped making videos.
2008 f50 Ford 4 ft. movement

That catalina is the car is the car to sneak everyone into the drive in back in the day.
Im glad to see you guys are back. I really enjoyed your videos
Some of fords better ideas 💡😂 happy 4th
Why did they get a new shop? I didn't think the son leaving would cause that, are the two things related?
Retired and built a 60 x 60 shop at home three lifts and working there to make race car money lol and what else I need to enjoy life
So glad you are back on this channel!

So what happend with your old garage?
I love the 4r70w.I've done 100s of them.easy and cheap to biuld.I'm so excited to see you do a ford trans.
its says online they are permanent closed is this true? anyone know?
The big question is are you going to warranty it or charge for another rebuild
No, you answer this question for me. What would you do? After nine years?
@@PrecisionTransmission after nine years I would charge again
Glad y'all are back
Second gear is just like but not quite as a th350.
Good to see that you went back to air impact. you always seemed more comfortable with that.
