I've watched several people play this game now and nobody seems to notice when artillery is firing it suppresses enemies.
man... a full blown documentary done in the art style of the first 2 mins of this video would be pretty cool

I've already beat Germans as Allies and about to win as German. My take is its a very good game about WWI. I love the management of resources. Reminds me of first Shogun Total War.
Imagine dying in such battles and seeing all the astral projections around you
and people on both sides staring down at their bodies and the confusion over the realization they are dead.
When you die you go to see God too be judged not Astral projection on earth.

Man, I was looking for a documentary about the Western Front and LOOK WHAT I FOUND INSTEAD
I’ve been having fun playing this first play through was fun till the Germans got tanks before me then it was quick to get rid of the points but got 3 gripes with this game. the research tree bugged me as I work through it myself but the Germans also benefited from my upgrades which was annoying , I only ever managed to take 2 grids never anymore than that easier to keep stalemate going than anything and final one maybe more maps
I mean, whatever technology was unveiled from either side was extremely copied by the other so it is another aspect of realism about WW1.
Your second point is basically the point of the game lol. Taking land is secondary, demoralising them first.
And your third: Well it just came out and its about the Western Front.

This is a great and challenging game
Sucks the map persistence isn’t like they claimed. Destroy a building in one battle and if you battle there again it’s reset. Sucks there’s 90 second corpses. I’d like to see the carnage and bodies scattered throughout my battle but I guess the game can’t handle it? Sucks 😒
There's a setting to increase the number of corpses before they start disappearing. The battle persistence is about what the player or ai builds such as trenches and art craters.
A commander not using artillery to cover infantry advances like this risk an accident of tripping into his own bagnet, repeatedly 😅
This was on my steam recommended just got a pc and it's under strategy
light arti only supresses the ability to fire it does not really damage
3 heavy art barrage will destroy an MG at the start though.
These are the guys who made Star Wars: Empire At War so it's gonna be good.
People hating on it, but it's not bad, it's just not grand scale.

I saw many comments saying supply was tight and this game was hard before buying it. It is, but you have to be smart. You need to use art before and while sending that push, you'll notice units and even mgs get a little white 'no' symbol when getting hit by art. This means they can't act. You're stunning them and it let's you get up into their trenches.

The game looks good. The ONLY reason i don't buy it, is becouse the corps fade away ..
How hard is it to zoom in for a few seconds? Why do no RTS gamers ever do this?

Not everyone has $40 to spend on a game they may not play. I've searched through YT and nobody zooms in so I don't know if it looks like little ants spinning around in circles or men fighting in a trench. I like to have all important features of a game shown and this is something that's frustratingly neglected.
This game is a carbon copy of a Russian RTS game called “Aggression” but with less physics

Because i cannot find any gameplay videos of any Agression RTS games, youtube instead gives me Acts of Agression and various unrelated videos about agression in games smh
Uhm…. You WERE a noob there😂 you should have used the suprresive artilleri to supresión the enemy soldiers in the trench to prvent Them from shooting at you, and thus save YOUR own mens lives😂

It moves slow, like wwi. Things you build like trenches stay battle to battle unless you suffer a major defeat and actually lose the area
