Studying is an art form that requires your body to be in tip-top shape in order to perform at a high level. Just like how marathon runners train their endurance to accomplish tremendous physical feats, I too have trained my body to accomplish mental feats. These are evidence-based ways that I have reached peak performance.
    🙏 Thanks for watching!

Remember guys, if you cannot study 8 hours a day then don’t beat yourself up for it. Everyone’s brains are wired differently. Honestly there are so many videos talking about how to study x amount of hours per day and it’s getting pretty toxic. If you can study this much per day in a healthy way, great. But all of these videos produce a negative side effect of guilt of some people who cannot physically study that long a day. At the end of the day, you know yourself best.

As someone who had difficulty studying for even 1 hour, I must say studying for 10 hours is really easy now.
It took me 4-5 months to arrive here. The mistake we make is we think we can achieve it in one day, but you will never.
    1) start by studying 1 hour for one week. Increase to 2 hours the next week and you will arrive to 10 hours one day in the future.
    2) dont study at night because you will feel tired towards rest of the day. Manage your sleep schedule. Sleep for 8 hours (compulsory)
    3) Just don't worry if you cant study for 10 hours. Don't blame yourself.

I tried not drinking coffee (Limited to 2 cups a day before) and found I can think and focus much better than when I drank Coffee. Now I just drink when I really need a boost. It’s so much better. I get the boost and the joy of drinking coffee this way, and If I don’t drink I still feel better than before when I drank coffee daily.

love this! When I started hydrating more in the morning, I found that I actually needed less coffee. the hydration wakes you up and gets your blood flowing since you get so dehydrated after sleeping

For me, the reason is to find a good incentive and avoid traps. For example if you care about learning and not results in exams, you will find study easier and more fun! Grade hunting is not as benefitial.Furthermore, just excersice. You need to study everyday so as to increase your studying capacity. you cant expect to study from 5 minutes to 10 hours

is it ok to sleep 4-5 hours in the night?
i sleep at around 12 and I've to wake up early between 4 to 5 to study.
not that i feel hyperactive when i wake up to study but my hands are too full with a lot of things right now. And i do a heavy workout 6 times a week and study for 11-12 hours.
i hope you or anyone can put their opinion about my lifestyle because me myself feel that i'm working hard and i'm satisfied but when people get to know this lifestyle and specially my sleep cycle they open their eyes wide and start telling me yoU're not healthy and this distracts me. May be they don't want to me to work hard as they are my competitors or may be they are right. opinions please. INDIA

last year I was diagnosed with persistent depressive disorder, I lost my focus studying and it became a tough year for me since I'm a third year medtech student which requires focus and full memorization study techniques. Now, I know I have recovered from depression however since we've been doing online class, I have been having a hard time focusing still.. cos Online thing is never for me. :( and now I'm slacking off, it scares me so much cos there are still more exams to take esp this month.. but I'm already burn out, emotionally and mentally.

I feel You tbh. I was a 'weak' student when I was in middle school too. I went from an f to 100% in a year. Here's what helped me
Hang out with people who study
Don't be shy to ask a smart friend to tutor you
      Practice questions 3 times a week(30 min)
Whenever you finish reading a page take a sticky note and write down the points you remember. Stick in the corner of the page(game changer.. try to not look at book while writing)
      Do homework
      That's it ❤️

Hiii, your really young so not every thing he says will work for you. I am also a teenager, so I will try to simplify. Sleep is easy, don’t go to sleep late because our brain also work during sleep doing some important stuff that we are not able to do during the day, specially related to memory. Exercise has a lot of benefits to our mood, witch will help us to focus for a long time without getting tired. If you have the opportunity playing a sport is a great way to exercise, since it will also involve a hobby. Hobby’s are good because we need a distraction from class. He mentioned somes studies that show that dedicating time to a hobby will help in the other things that you are trying to lear as yell (like school work). Eating healthy always helps and berrys have some nutrients that are useful to the brain. Coffee and tea also have some of these nutrients and keep us awake. However, in your age the amount of coffee you can have is probably smaller than the one he mentioned. Hope this helped 😘

    • @cottonhxney
      @cottonhxney 3 года назад +4

Follow your natural circadian rhythm. Getting 5+ hrs won’t be as productive n beneficial if you’re trying to work with a migraine and an uncomfortable feeling anyways. You know yourself and health best. Take advice and try to apply it where it fits, not use it as a cookie cutter template for life/productivity 👌
