Does the mechatronic unit control the hydraulic with PWM. Looking at SSP-390 it appears to have a 3 position valve for each gear pair but the control valve has only *one* solenoid and a return spring, therefore, I assume it would need to be controled with with a PWM signal to get the 3 positions?
I have a fault code on my MK6 Golf 1.6 P0841 Transmission Fluid Pressure Sensor/Switch A Range/Performance, ,and P177C Clutch 2 Tolerance Limit Reached. Any idea the cost of repair ?
I have a 2018 Skoda superb diesel SE fault come up on the dash saying something about gearbox and not getting reverse gear I plugged it in and it said clutch sensor to do you know what that means
yep , exactly what i had , i cant put into reverse and the gear stuck at gear 6 (dont remember the code) it was an awfully painful to unload the gearbox
Hi - I have replaced the bearing with standard as it had snapped and was stuck to the magnets used to operate the Mechatronics unit. The fault I had initially was reverse, 2nd, 4th and 6th gear only. I have put the box back in the car and all seemed well, until again I only had reverse, 2nd, 4th and 6th. It would reset if I turned the car off and on. But now I do not have any forward gears, only reverse. Do you have any ideas?

Due to the initial intermittent nature of the fault, it sounds like it is more likely to be an electrical fault, however without any codes it is difficult to say. This is excellent video production.. wow I have a DQ250 that drives up until the end of 3rd gear. And won’t shift into 4th. BUT if I put it in neutral, if I’m at speed it will skip 4th and go to D5 or D6.. is that clutch pack, synchro, or mechatronic???

I had this issue back in December and ended up loss of all gears. Thankfully it was my slider bearing and was fixed but I’m afraid it was a like for like repair. Cost me £1400 to repair.

I have MK6 Golf 1.4 TSI (170hp cavd) and when cold the car goes only 2nd gear, if warm 2>4>6+R sometimes after hour it makes some gear /clutch sounds and the dsg will work normally again. Someone said my whole mechatronic needs replacement but 2.000€ isnt something im gonna spend on this shitty car anymore

Mine failed at 80.000 miles , car was in mint condition, all of a sudden it wouldn't select any gears and said "gearbox failure" and that was it , quoted by 2 garages around 2.500 grand to fix ,sold it as spares and repairs, just had enough, it's embarrassing that my old Vauxhall Astra from 2002 had the automatic gearbox in perfect condition and my 2015 Golf mk 7 failed so early ,cars these days are so fragile 👎

I’ve seen them mostly around 140-150k kilometers!
