If you have headaches on waking. Look at IIH. Your cranial pressure rises when you lay flat.

If you have chronic migraines and don't know some other cause, study about the MTHFR gene polymorphism and how they affect methylation. One major symptom from this gene issue is chronic migraines and proper suplementation can often help.

And don't forget to drink water! Whenever my nephews were little and begged for aspirin for a headache I made them drink a big glass of water and wait 30 minutes. They never needed the aspirin. (In their 20s now, and they still remember that!)
*Pro tip:* Throw in a little lemon juice, honey, and a pinch of salt for a great electrolyte if you're really dehydrated!

Occasionally none of the self strecthes and massages help and seem to sometimes even make the headache and pain in my neck worse. This morning the only thing that helped for a headache that I had had on/off for a day or so already was to drink a cup of coffee and go for a walk outside. It's not always easy to do it when having a headache, but walking seems to help me most. It might be the rythmic but easy movement relaxes the muscles and helps the circulation a bit.

@@barakbalestrery4138 That is true but I sometimes have the same type of headaches when I possibly could not be in caffeine withdrawal. I think the coffee might release some histamine and dilate the blood vessels or have another such type of mechanism a bit like aspirin. It seems it helps even with some headaches that are not caused by the withdrawal of caffeine itself.

So lately I've been waking up with my neck achin like it never has before. I'm 28 years old, maybe I'm just getting old. But also my head hurts every morning. Usually the front. These do help. And usually after I let the hot shower water hit my head I'm fine (which has only worked recently usually I'd have to eat and take a pain pill). So my question is: is there anything I can do before bed besides drink water that would help with that. Any massages that might help put me in a deep sleep, or just a stretch so I don't pull anything in my sleep

You are probably grinding your teeth and clenching your jaw when you sleep. You should get an occlusal guard to lighten the load/protect your teeth. I believe Dr Rowe has a tmj video. You should try that. Relax your jaw!

@@RubyJane6904 thanks. That's prolly the best answer I've gotten. I usually know the causes of my headaches and I always hate when ppl try to tell me why I have one when I know they just don't know what they're talking about. But this seems like you're on to something. I'll look into it

I am a Dental hygienist. So many people have headaches, sore shoulders and neck, even ear aches- all from clenching and/grinding. Follow Dr Rowe’s treatments and get a night guard! 🙏🏻😊

I am having severe pain on the outside of my right foot. It is on the bottom of my foot from that little bone to my little toe. It is difficult to walk. It feels like nerve pain and It feels like a 4 inch cable in my foot that is irritated. When I stand on my right foot, I can’t center my body over my foot my hips shift outward to balance almost like my foot is collapsing inward. My left foot is not like that at all. This whole problem started with foam rolling possibly a little too aggressively about a week ago. Any thoughts?
